The Lululemon Upload is live!

Last weeks posts: Push Your Pace Jacket Fit Review, The Lululemon Upload, Guest Fit Review.

This is another rather boring and very light upload. There are a few items that I’m interested in though, as always. The US got that gorgeous porcelain pink swiftly and I’m certain I would have ordered that one had Canada gotten it. I also really like the look of Stop Drop & Squat Tight in Boysenberry. An interesting thing about the Yin Poncho is that Canadian stores got it in a really gorgeous Mauvy pink today and I’m surprised it didn’t upload in that color. I didn’t try it on because I’ve learned the hard way about the jacket + poncho conundrum. If I where to purchase one though I’d hold out for that pink to upload, or check your stores for it. The So Merlot Aligns are very pretty as well. Worst most ‘so extra’ design of the year so far are the Reveal Tight Precision.

Did you order anything? Any try-ons of the new items to report?

Wah! I want this swiftly but it’s US only.

New material in this Split Out Hoodie called ‘LuForme’ I believe this is that cotton/polyester blend that is sweat wicking in the Stop Drop & Squat SS. I wish they would actually put in the fabric content under ‘fabric’ vs. the vague ‘sweat wicking material’. Isn’t every item they make varying degrees of ‘sweat wicking?’. I want to know if it’s polyester.

These tights are really cute and especially tempting in boysenberry (ban island for tights ??). Why are they online only though? that is so annoying because I am instantly suspicions when something is online only and retailers don’t want me to experience this product in person, in store first. It’s like they try to manage first impressions.

Before you take the plunge on trying out the Enlite Bra, you should check out the Victoria Secret version. The Angel Max Sports Bra is virtually the same bra and significantly cheaper. Here is my original post of the Angel Max Sports Bra.  That being said, I was no fan of the Enlite Bra when I tried it on last year.  Some people love it and swear by it so I’m glad they have a bra that fits and works for them. For me it was a bust (?).

The Push Your Pace Jacket in Porcelain Pink

Push Your Pace Jacket

Thanks to Ms. K for this photo of her Push Your Pace Jacket.

Push Your Pace Jacket

Push Your Pace Jacket – Porcelain Pink

I made the mistake of sizing up to a 12 in the Push Your Pace and I realized almost as soon as I clicked ‘order’ that I should have stuck to my regular size. I can size up in jackets like the Dance Studio Jacket and the Down For A Run, and the Define and have a comfortably roomy fit without looking sloppy or having too much material in the arms. This jacket is already a loose fitting jacket around the chest and shoulders so sizing up gave me a really loose fit and felt like it was way too big. I think if you re someone that is very busty, and you have an hourglass shape with a short torso, or if you have broad shoulders and have fit issues with jackets,  this jacket may be the ideal style for you. I’m a pear shape and have a very long torso so this jacket is visually too short, although it doesn’t feel cropped. I really liked the color of this jacket (a very soft cool pink) and I love that the material is matte and soft. I also really like the soft inside which is a brushed fleece like material. I’m definitely returning this jacket because it’s too big, but I’m really undecided on whether I’d like to order it in my regular size or pass on it altogether. It’s rare these days for Lululemon to put out a jacket in a great color that isn’t black, white or grey. This jacket feels really nice and cozy on and I do think it’s cute and nicely designed. What do you guys think?

Check out this jacket option from Carbon38 in the same color.

The Lululemon Upload is up! Last weeks Lululemon Upload, fit review of Mystic Green, Simply Wool Sweater and Sleek Essentials, Free People Sweater Markdowns.

Guys! So sorry for my missing upload post this afternoon. I had an unexpected appointment late in the afternoon and wasn’t able to prep a blog post or email beforehand. I’m really liking the pink Push Your Pace Jacket, and The Gatekeeper Jacket. I ordered the pink jacket to try on late this evening, but I ordered a size up to gain length and now I’m reading reports that it may be a looser fitting TTS. Oh well. The US got a really pretty quicksand swiftly that Canada didn’t get. I’m also really loving the Sheer Lemon Free To Be Serene.

Did you guys order anything? Did the Push Your Pace Jacket in a pretty color excite you?

17 Handbags No One Will Believe You Found on the High Street

There was a time when a love for vinyl was a reference to your sizable record collection, but now this historically risqué fabric has entrenched itself in the mainstream (well, the fashion mainstream anyway). Wipe clean and high impact, every item of clothing you could think of has been given the vinyl treatment—from trousers and coats to skirts and accessories—instantly transforming any run-of-the-mill item into a serious statement piece.

The vinyl-ambivalent can rest assured that there are plenty of ways to work this look without looking like a bin-liner. If the idea of stepping out in a pair of vinyl trousers terrifies you then there are plenty of high-shine accessories around that will allow you to dip your toe in. Take your cues from Harriet Stewart who elevates her denim dungarees with a pair of red patent boots. Or, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, then the vinyl midi skirt is the thing for you. The secret is to keep the rest of your outfit simple a la Lisa Aiken (think white tee and heeled boots) and prepare to turn heads. Scroll down for our full edit of vinyl outfits.

Guest Fit Review: Simply Wool Sweater, Sleek Essentials Jacket

by Cristina January 11, 2018

Thanks Mrs. O!

Simply Wool Sweater Simply Wool Sweater Simply Wool Sweater

Simply Wool Sweater

I picked this color so you could see the detailing in the different knit stitches.  This was a very lightweight sweater that when layered would add warmth.  In this color, I thought it was a little see through — you could see the tag in the back of the sweater.  This sweater is TTS and fits like other Lululemon plain merino wool sweaters.  I haven’t had any problems with my washable merino wool sweaters from Lululemon.  I always dry flat so it doesn’t stretch or lose shape.  So, if you’re hesitant to buy a washable merino wool sweater, you shouldn’t worry too much.  This sweater was too plain for me to get off the ban island.  However, I’d like the black one to wear with dress pants and a jacket.  But I have no need for something like that right now.  I can make do with what I already have in my closet.

Sleek Essentials Jacket Sleek Essentials Jacket Sleek Essentials Jacket Sleek Essentials Jacket Sleek Essentials Jacket

Sleek Essentials Jacket

I was pleasantly surprised by this jacket.  I was interested in it because of its feminine shape and the fact that it is made from luxtreme.  The Ed told me that unlike the Define Jacket made of luon, this jacket is made to workout in, which is why it is made of luxtreme.  The length is very similar to the define jacket but I think it is slightly longer in the back than the define jacket.  I tried on both the 6 (my TTS define) and the 4 (because I’ve lost some weight and now fit comfortably in a define in a size 4).  I honestly didn’t notice much of a size difference between the two sizes.  It might have been slightly more fitted in the lower waist/hip area.  I really liked the white one a lot.  The store didn’t have a size 4 in white so that I could compare how it looked.  Sometimes when I buy white, I size up just to make it look more slimming.  Too tight white is not very flattering (for me at least).  The Sleek Essentials Jacket lays flatter and tighter in the torso than the Define Jacket.  I don’t know if it’s just me but I’ve noticed that the Define Jackets seem to be looser in the torso area more than they used to be.  I feel like from the side, it billows out slightly.  The Sleek Essential Jacket doesn’t billow out.  It’s form fitted like the Contour Jacket.  I thought it was well constructed and the seam detailing, ventilation detailing and pocket placement was very flattering.  The back waist panel was a slight peplum shape so I thought it accentuated the natural waist and made me look curvier than I am.  I really think the jacket style would be flattering on most shapes and sizes.  I’m going to think about this jacket.  And if I get it, I’ll probably get the white (and in my TTS define size).  What do you think about the two different sizes on me?

The Christmas countdown is officially on! And how do we know? Because the Marks & Spencer Christmas advert has just hit screen. And the star is a certain Holly Willoughby – and her enviable wardrobe. We can’t stop thinking about the fabulous purple coat that she wears during the ad – which is FINALLY available to purchase now.

Although it was released in store earlier this month, you can now purchase it online for £89. The single-breasted design has already proved a massive hit on Instagram, due to not only the gorgeous wide lapels, the on-trend, oversize fit and super cosy wool texture – but also the fact that Vogue Williams, Holly and fashion blogger Erica Davies have all rocked it. Now if you don’t know who Erica Davies is – let us enlighten you. Erica is a huge fashion influencer and has always been a big fan of M&S, having single-handedly made THAT starry-print constellation dress a sellout last year.

Speaking about how to style the purple coat of dreams, the chic mother-of-two advised: “Do not fear the purple hue. It works SO WELL with navy blue, bright yellow (yes really), orange or red AND emerald green. It’s a completely useful shade if you want to inject some colour into your life. And who doesn’t want that? We couldn’t agree more, E.

It’s about finding the right things.”

“Anyone can get dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their days off that are the most intriguing.”

Ali, who gave birth to the couple’s baby daughter Isla in September, looked gorgeous in a black maxi dress that featured an off-the-shoulder neckline. Holly was also her typically stylish self, wearing a white summer dress, while Scarlett looked lovely in a zebra-print number.

The gang, who were joined by their other female friends and I’m a Celeb co-host Dec, appeared to be in high spirits as they were pictured chatting and laughing. It’s all go-go-go for the cast as I’m a Celeb returns on Sunday night. This year’s celebrity campmates are expected to be revealed the day before but the various star sightings at Brisbane Airport have already given the game away.

  • Presenters Holly and Dec have also been drumming up excitement over on their social media accounts.
  • The This Morning star shared a photo of the pair on Instagram.
  • Holly and I are looking forward to welcoming you to Australia next Sunday night.

There’s only a week to go before I’m a Celebrity returns to screens, and ahead of the launch, show’s leading ladies have been enjoying some downtime together. Presenter Holly Willoughby, who has stepped in for Ant McPartlin this year, was pictured having a laugh with Scarlett Moffatt, who co-hosts the spin-off show, I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp. The TV stars were joined by Declan Donnelly’s wife Ali Astall on their day out in New South Wales, Australia. Photographed in a suitably verdant setting alongside her co-presenter, Holly looked ready to take on anything with a retro Cowgirl-esque outfit. Dressed in the supercool Danish brand Ganni, a.k.a the go-to designer for influencers worldwide, Holly wore the ultra cute ‘Salvia’ suede mini skirt in dark camel with frill detailing that buttoned all the way up at the front.
