Not Like Other Fitness Influencers: Creative Freedom & Honest Reviews. The Sweat Edit is no longer partnered with lululemon Creative Network
Independence & Integrity First
I want to share an important update: The Sweat Edit is no longer a member of the lululemon Creator Network.
What does this mean for you? Nothing is changing when it comes to my content—my reviews will remain honest, my voice will stay authentic, and my editorial control will always be mine. The only shift is in how my content is monetized. Moving forward, I’ll be partnering with affiliate platforms that better align with my values of creative integrity and independence.
Why Transparency in influencer marketing Matters
As a longtime influencer, my commitment has always been to honest feedback and transparency. Trends come and go—whether it’s TikTok influencers, social media platforms, algorithm shifts, or even corporate values and corporate teams. But my focus has never been on chasing trends; it’s been on building and maintaining my own space on the internet where I can create content with full creative freedom, regardless of economic or industry shifts.
Simply disclosing incentivized content and reviews isn’t enough—it’s just the legal minimum. Respecting authentic voices is what truly matters. Influencer authenticity matters!
Staying True to My Voice: The Future of The Sweat Edit
If this resonates with you, I’m so grateful for your continued support. The Sweat Edit will keep delivering the same quality content you’ve come to trust. The only difference? I’ll be working with monetization platforms that support independence rather than interfere with it, or penalize it.
I’ve never been one to follow the pack, and I’m not about to start now. Just like Joan MacDonald, I’m not your typical fitness influencer. I’m going to do what I do always— even if someone thinks I’m annoying.
The Sweat Edit will never allow any brand to dictate my content, limit my freedom of speech, or control the brands I choose to feature.

The Best Korean Beauty Skincare Secrets for Women Over 40 with Rosacea: Soothing & Anti-Aging Skincare Tips
How My 9-5 Routine Made Me Rethink Skincare: Korean Beauty for Rosacea and Anti-Aging
Korean skincare is a game-changer for anti-aging and sensitive skin, thanks to its gentle, hydration-focused approach. Now that I’m working a 9-5 and wearing makeup daily, I’ve noticed my rosacea and overall skin issues more than ever. I use prescriptions for rosacea and have long relied on exfoliants like retinols, BHAs, and AHAs—but my skin has become dull, dry, and prematurely aged. While I don’t have wrinkles, the lack of radiance makes me look older. K-beauty’s emphasis on soothing, nourishing ingredients is exactly what my skin needs to restore its glow and resilience.
Korean Skincare: The Step-by-Step Routine for Hydrated, Youthful, and Calm Skin
The Korean skincare routine follows a multi-step approach designed to hydrate, protect, and rejuvenate the skin. It typically includes a double cleanse (oil-based followed by water-based), gentle exfoliation, and layers of lightweight hydration through toners, essences, and serums. Soothing ingredients like centella asiatica and snail mucin help calm rosacea-prone skin, while moisturizers and SPF lock in hydration and shield against aging. This method prioritizes skin barrier health, making it perfect for sensitive skin types needing both anti-aging benefits and redness relief.
My Favourite Products
I absolutely love the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica First Ampoule because it’s incredibly soothing and hydrating for my rosacea-prone skin. The combination of Centella Asiatica and hyaluronic acid calms redness, reduces irritation, and deeply hydrates without feeling heavy or greasy. Unlike harsher treatments I’ve used in the past, this ampoule strengthens my skin barrier while keeping my complexion plump and refreshed. It’s the perfect first step after cleansing to restore balance and keep my skin looking healthy and radiant.
The TirTir Milk Skin Toner is a game-changer for my dry, rosacea-prone skin. Its milky, nourishing formula provides an instant boost of hydration while soothing irritation and strengthening my skin barrier. Using a toner like this helps prep my skin to absorb serums and moisturizers more effectively, ensuring deeper hydration and longer-lasting moisture. Unlike traditional toners that can be drying or astringent, this one leaves my skin soft, plump, and calm—perfect for reducing redness and preventing that tight, dehydrated feeling.
* There is also a light version of the TirTir Milk Skin Toner for extra sensitive skin!

The cleansing oil step is essential in a Korean skincare routine because it gently dissolves makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum without stripping the skin. Unlike harsh cleansers, oil-based formulas break down impurities while maintaining the skin’s natural moisture barrier—perfect for rosacea-prone and sensitive skin. This step also helps prevent clogged pores and preps the skin for a second cleanse. One of my favorites is the Manyo Pure Cleansing Oil, which is packed with 14 nourishing plant derived oils that cleanse thoroughly while keeping my skin soft, calm, and hydrated.

An ampoule is like a super-concentrated version of a serum, packed with active ingredients that work quickly and give you noticeable results. While serums are great for specific skin concerns, ampoules are even more potent and are meant to give your skin a little extra boost. I love the Centella Asiatica in this serum because it’s amazing for calming my rosacea. It helps reduce redness and irritation, making it perfect for my sensitive skin that needs some extra soothing and care.

Combined with CICA, which calms irritation, this serum improves skin texture, reduces redness, and gives your skin a healthier glow. Fresh Fits for the New Year: Lululemon’s January Product Drops and Restocks
Welcome to the upload this week! We finally have some new colors and new designs. There are several pieces this week that I’m considering, like the Oversized Insulated Flight Jacket, Daydrift High-Rise Trousers (which are perfect now that I’m back to ‘office’ work), and the cashmere sweaters.
Speaking of perfect workwear from lululemon, you may have noticed my upload posts are a little later than usual the past few weeks. This is a temporary change and will revert back to normal soon. My work schedule right now conflicts with the exact upload time, depending on how early it goes live.

New Year, New Gear: Lululemon’s January Product Drops and Web Restocks
I’m not sure what’s happening with lululemon with the lack of new product the last 4-5 weeks. I’m curious what they say on the next earnings call. They also seem to be having technical issues with their creator platform, and the website drop.… Last week I read reports on the Reddit group that some stores have pulled Wunder Trains off shelves due to a color issue. Has your store pulled Wunder Trains off shelves?
I’m eager to get back to it for the new year so hopefully by next week lululemon has come back online
I’m beginning to worry at the lack of new inventory during such a key shopping period, with highly motivated holiday shoppers. I know most retailers are in scaled down mode during the this economic downturn, but this is highly unusual for lululemon. Seems like it would be the perfect opportunity to capture shoppers while competing retailers are scaled down. I hope that as the economy stabilizes, lululemon is able to get back to their old merchandising style.
December Drops: Lululemon’s Latest Product Releases and Web Restocks
What a small and boring upload considering we are just a few weeks away from Christmas. I imagine we will see a second drop on Thursday as well, and maybe it will be a regular sized drop. I’m looking at the Alpaca Wool-Blend Shawl-Collar Cardigan, and possibly the rainforest green Align pants.
