Not a super exciting upload overall today. That’s now three Fall uploads that have missed the back to school/Fall down jackets, vests and bags. No Tuck And Flow LS’s either. Such a strange fall assortment for lululemon. None the less, I did feel excited over the Essentials Tank in Dusty Mauve since seeing it in the Hong Kong upload several weeks ago. My store hasn’t gotten this tank yet in any colors so I haven’t been able to try it on. Reviews say it fits large and to size down but I took a chance that I would like the flowy fit of it in my TTS. I also felt excited about the Heathered Alberta Lake Yogi Racerback Tank. My ‘source’ showed me a preview picture of that Alberta Lake tank several weeks ago but we couldn’t decide if it was old (and never released) or an upcoming color, and here it is!

Well this is a much more promising upload. I like the look of the Down For It Vest in the heathered silver. The Midnight Bloom print is pretty. Looks like we now know the color of the Love Tee SS Crew that I tried on yesterday, Deep Fuchsia. The Sapphire Cool Racerback II just kills me. I really wanted a CRB in this color when the color first came out and now here it is, a year later in the CRB II.

Fit Review: Spray Jacquard Outrun Tight, Define Jacket, Cool Racerback II, Maze Jacquard Wunder Under Crops

Sorry about the blurry photos today. It was partially the prints, and partially my iPhone having some weird glitch.

Spray Jacquard Define Jacket – Size up to 12

I typically size up to a 12 in the Define Jacket and I remembered this last week after I ordered the size 10 Mauve Define. Luckily I was able to exchange the 10 for a 12 in another local store that is carrying the Mauve items (my store isn’t!). The Spray Jacquard definitely feels looser and stretchier but it’s also a knit material so warmer and with a different type of fabric drape. I don’t care for this print at all. I find it very widening and if you are broader this will really accentuate it, especially in pants.

Spray Jacquard Cool Racerback II

This print was ok in a Cool Racerback but it just looks like a fur pelt to me. It’s a knit material just like the Define. I’m not gravitating to it.

Love Tee SS Crew TTS 10

This Love Tee Crew is the answer to those of you that haven’t liked the deep plunging v of the regular Love Tee or just prefer a crew neck. I was surprised at how relaxed in fit this 10 was. I’m not sure what color this is but the code is ‘HCHL’. I believe there was also a heathered navy and heathered black. I could be tempted in this tee in a unique color but for $64 I’m just not feeling tempted. I also prefer a v neck to a crew neck.

Maze Jacquard Wunder Under Crops TTS size 10

These where a nice thick knit material with the print woven throughout as you can see in the below picture of the reverse side. It’s a nice print but it’s also visually widening, especially if you are broad, and it’s very busy. I liked this print a lot more than Spray Jacquard but I see myself getting tired of this pretty quickly especially since it’s so busy. I like a neutral print like herringbone where it is subdued and more quiet but this one is very loud for a neutral print.

Outrun Tight TTS 10

I hate these so much. I wanted to burn them. That circle seam detail over the thighs paired with the widening Spray Jacquard and black mesh paneling was just horrible. If you are long and lean this will look much less horrible on you but I just don’t like this fur pelt print. Winter is coming. It’s very, very contrasted and very loud. I very much appreciate a black/white neutral print like herringbone or coco pique but I’m not loving these optical textured prints. I’m glad I was able to enjoy Mauve last upload and I’m sad I didn’t order the Mauve Wuder Under Crops before they sold out.

Intel + Black Grape Split Hoodie

The Split Hoodie was uploaded in gorgeous Black Grape at some point over night. Speaking of gorgeous color, I have some verified intel for you. Due to the awesome comment participation in this blog with all of the honest feedback you guys provide daily, a lead designer at lululemon has contacted me for further discussion on what we’ve been upset about. The subdued neutral colors we’ve seen over the past several uploads. I’ve reiterated that although neutrals are appreciated, we really miss seeing vibrant colors and patterns. When they where doing colors we where seeing repeats of Grapefruit, Very Light Flare, Flash, all extremely similar colors out all at once. I’ve been reassured that in future months, in addition to the neutral prints we will be seeing more variety of color and ‘future deliveries will come in a more balanced assortment’. I very much look forward to further discussion with the design team to pass on your feedback and comments. I think it’s amazing that they are listening to feedback and reaching out and not just acknowledging it but really considering it. This is also thanks to your very active involvement in the comments section here and your willingness to share your feedback.

Mail Day Remarks + Split Hoodie, Obscured Black High Times Pant Split, Cool Racerback Split, Yin Time Bag Heat

My order from Tuesday just arrived and in that parcel was the Obscured Black Wunder Under Crops High Rise, Energy Bra *Peek in Mauve, Define Jacket in Dusty Mauve. The WUC’s are absolutely keepers because of the Nulux fabric which I love (new printed luxtreme will always be this nylon based luxtreme now). I find it really comfortable and breathable on, and opaque. Plus, I really like that the price is still $88 on those. Second, the Energy Bra Peek is really beautiful on. I heard rumours that it fits tight but my TTS 10 fit perfect, and I love the ‘wild’ strap detail. Unfortunately though the price just stings so I will probably take it back. I can live without another bra. The Define Jacket is just gorgeous! I love the Dusty Mauve in person and sadly I ordered my regular size 10 in it forgetting that I like to size up in the Define Jacket so if I can’t find the size up in store to exchange it for, I’ll have to return this one.
