The Lululemon Upload is live!
Lots of great travel/commuting gear options today with the Wander Line, the new Get Going Dress and the light weight Hood Lite Jacket today. I fell in love with the Above The Clouds Jacket and I can’t remember if we saw that in last weeks upload, or if it’s new this week. Regardless, I love the evergreen one and I’m going to try that one out.
My trip to Disneyland last week was so awesome. I had such a great time with my family. I don’t normally travel with a lot of Lululemon stuff since I rarely get to a workout on vacation, but since I knew we where going to do a ton of walking (we did 12 miles everyday for 3 days) and very little occasion for fancy nights out I packed zero jeans or dressy tops, and only Lululemon clothes this time. My favourites where my Align Joggers and crops, Love Tee, Everywhere Belt Bag and my Seawheeze Gather Me Slightly Jacket. It was literally the most comfortable vacation I have ever taken. I’ve always appreciated that Lululemon is great for travel but I’ve never taken full advantage of it before outside of my airplane clothes and my carry-on backpack.
Do you guys wear Lululemon when you travel? What’s your favourite?

Waiting for the marble print that I have seen in Train Times and Train times shorts on the UK website….
My favorite lulu item for travel is the Noir pant! Very comfy for the airplane, dressy yet laid back, packs down to nothing, and doesn’t wrinkle.
It has been 5 weeks since I made a purchase, and this week’s upload is another dud for me. I even have a birthday coming up, and I want nothing.
The Early Extension tights are fun–love the yellow/gold–but they look like they’d give me a looooong, flat butt. 🙁
Nothing for me again. Anyone got any gossip about what’s going on? Holman left a long time ago. We all said, well, give them some time to regroup and then it’ll take a few more months to start really putting out good, new stuff, but they seem to be getting worse. It’s just.so.boring.
I guess I should give up, but then again, it doesn’t take more than 3 minutes per week to say, “Nope. Nothing to see here.”
I’m surprised to hear you don’t travel with a lot of LLL but that must mean you don’t wear a lot of casual LLL. I not only live in LLL everyday but it’s a staple when I travel. Going somewhere warm when it’s cold where I live, I usually wear my Street To Studio Pants (original version) and when I arrive in the warm destination I just fold up the pant legs to a crop. They are great to travel in because of the elastic waist, lightweight material and wrinkle free. I also wear a s/s Swiftly for the comfort and no wrinkles. I also take a vinyasa scarf to put over me in case I get cold on the plane. If I am not going to a warm destination I will wear my Groove Pants. There hasn’t been a time that I remember being on a plane and not seeing lots of women wearing LLL. Unfortunately since they changed the waistband and fit of all their swift material pants and crops I don’t buy them anymore.
Nothing for me this week. Other than a couple of items I bought on sale in January I haven’t bought anything. I am considering the white Love Tee Crew but hesitating because it’s probably see through. I would like to hear from anyone who has seen or bought it. Is it thin and see through? TIA
Just wondering Cristina why we have to fill in our name and email address every time we post a comment? Kind of a hassle as we didn’t have to before the changes you made.
I didn’t realize that feature was on for comments. That’s a basic standard feature for this website and I have to opt out of that. I think when I switched my theme/host provider it reverted back to the standard version. I will fix that right now.
I’ve been wearing lululemon a lot more causally this year but I have always preferred tee shirt and jeans and a nice jacket for casual wear. I even always wear jeans on airplane flights because I find them comfortable. I think that has to do a lot with wether or not a person has a professional wardrobe. If you have to invest in professional attire then you likely wear athleisure as your casual wear vs having three different wardrobes, casual, athletic and professional. I work from home so I wear more casual clothing but I have my ‘cute/put together’ casual stuff and then I have my athleisure.
I’m with the person above who says it’s been five weeks since making a purchase. I’m in the same boat. I have not found anything I like since January!!! I use to make a purchase every week almost. The uploads keep getting worse. I feel like I may be off this brand finally.
Nothing again this week. I have finally stopped looking at the sites from other countries because I hate waiting for an item or color that doesn’t get released here. ☹️ (Still waiting hoping for the Fast and Frees in Lazurite from months ago.)
My favorite travel/ casual/ every day item is the Contour Jacket (which I wear as a top). The Nulu is so soft and comfortable. I have it in most of the colors they released. I hope they bring it back in more colors in the future.
Nothing for me this week.
I like my Align’s for travelling and also the Vinyasa scarves. I also have old pair of swift capris that I love when I travel in the summer. I cannot for the life of me remember the style name. I think I bought them in 2010
I like the Above the Clouds jacket and those track pants. Don’t need a new jacket this time of year, though!
Thanks, it’s not a big deal but who doesn’t like things simplified!
I am a big Lulu wearer on vacation, especially when we go to Disneyland or Legoland. It doesn’t matter the weather, haha! I’m like the poster above, aligns for an airplane or a long car ride. In the summer, I wear a lot of the built in bra tops if I’m going to be outside all day. I figure if they are good for sweating in at the gym, they will be just as comfortable to sweat in outside walking around. I guess I pretty much live in my Lulu!
Nothing for me this week. I’m still hoping for some hot pink shorts in Run Times or Hotty Hot Long. I’m tempted to buy the shorter ones, but I know I won’t reach for them. I have a few things I’m eyeing hoping for a MD price.
Thanks for keeping it interesting with posts on other stuff while we wait for Lulu to liven things up again!
Since I’ve moved out of the corporate world I live my whole life in Lulu apart from the odd pair of jeans. For travel I love jet crops to look a little more polished, we’re heading to Europe for 6 weeks with just carry on this summer so am taking studio pants, namaskar crops and a Zella equivalent I got from Nordstrom, meant to move tees, essential tanks, ready to rulu wrap and probably my pack it jacket, throw in a couple of merino things from icebreaker and I’m done
I think a Vinyasa scarf is essential for travel, no matter the season or destination. I like the “love” tees too. Last year I took a breeze Swiftly on my trip to Africa. I have had good experiences with Athleta pants for travel. (Pants, not tights.) In warm weather travel I take an Athleta Santorini dress for an easy “dress up” look. Most of my other travel (and casual) wardrobe is from outdoorsy brands such as Royal Robbins, Kuhl, Prana.
I’m all for a capsule wardrobe for travel, making sure everything coordinates with everything else. And carry-on only! Preferably in a 40-liter backpack.
Did you take a Vinyasa scarf to Disneyland? Glad you had a great time!
Trying to reply to your reply to post #5. I think you are on to something! I’m great at my work wardrobe and good at my running wardrobe. But casual Fridays? That’s a challenge for me.
