There has been a lot of disappointment about the Lululemon 20 Year Anniversary Product Drop and although I like the embossed manifesto tights enough, I wonder why Lululemon didn’t create something truly stunning and special like their Rainbow Reflective Seawheeze tights which sell for $800 on the grey market. Lululemon has re-released the Rainbow Reflective Tights twice in Australia since last summer. They’ve obviously been able to produce a high volume of those (and at regular price points) and know fans are crazy about them so I’m not sure why they are keeping it so scarce and feeding the grey market instead of their own margins, especially for such a special event like the 20 year anniversary. Check the last upload post to see the comments about the 20 Year Anniversary Capsule.

I can’t decide if i like that foil print or not. Anyone seen it in person? Is it actually shiny, or is it tromp d’oeil?
Soooo shiny, like real foil on top of the fabric. Tried them today and bought them right away. I’m obsessed with them!
THANKS!!!! I’ll go with the energy bra then. Just enough variation from my standard matte black. I also just bought that serene bra in the light color multi print, so branching out! ?
I find myself getting rid of all my bright colors and prints lately ? I should branch out more but the basics go with everything! I think you’ll love the bra in the foil print though!
Is the foil print TTS? I read the review online and couple people said it runs small.
I’m debating on whether or not I should pick up the non embossed reg leggings. As much as I don’t like looking like a walking billboard, the “lululemon 9818-20y” on the red gives me korean streetwear vibes. They would look killer with black converse on my leg days.
Ha! Finally figured out what the “9818” meant. ? And I agree that the red would look amazing with the black shoes.
what doe it mean??
When were the reflective speed tights released in Australia apart from the very limited stock (2 of each size?) in store the weekend of their Run Melbourne race?
I love the red scuba. It really pops against those black leggings. It’s very tempting, but I need a new scuba like a hole in the head.
How great it is to see people smiling, and store photographes ! Its about time lulu get back with what worked so well.
Indeed about the anniversary pieces, so much more could have been done yet with a mix of classic vibe. Im waiting the scuba in the mail and I holded on the WU for the same reasons you pointed out Cristina. Oh what a great idea you had about the Rainbow/reflective themed anniversary line! Yes please 🙂
The size 14 seems like an illusion or a marketing thing or in lulu case, a symptom of both!
How long before we see the effect of the new CEO? Not something to look forward if products are already decided until… like Xmas. it could be a long, long dry spell.
Thanks for the shoes hunting.
The red in the 20Y line is very rich and I love the embossed energy bra. This design capsule reminds me of a Beyonce line that came out a year of so ago which had big blocked letters. If memory is right, it sold fast. (Also looks like VS PINK line).
The 20Y line seems to target the edgy millennials (ex: tatooed models). While not a line I will wear being in my late 50’s, it is different and may appeal to the younger generation. I still wear my pacesetter skirts with the pleated backside. My 25 year-old daughter wouldn’t even consider wearing a skirt, especially one with ruffles (her description).
