Ready To Rulu Pant, Get Set LS

I didn’t buy the Ready to Rulu Joggers last year.  I tend not to wear joggers as much as my tights.  But I was intrigued by this print so I tried it on.  I absolutely loved them.  They were so soft and they fit very nicely.  The one complaint I have with Lululemon’s joggers is the fact that most of them come with a drawstring.  I wish they would put the drawstring in the inside so when you have a fitted top on, it doesn’t bulge out.  Most of the men’s joggers are in the inside.  Don’t they know us ladies want smoothness in the tummy area?  I didn’t think I would like the fact that this pattern/print was a light gray/white but once on, I really liked it.  In person the heathered black cherry is a very nice color.  These joggers are TTS (they actually fit better than the other joggers).  The length was great — there was limited bunching at the bottom.  A lot less than other joggers.  I’ve put myself on a spending freeze, so these are on my Christmas wish list.  So, for those of you looking to buy some new joggers, I highly recommend these.  They are very soft, comfy and flattering on.
I know the Get Set LS has been out for awhile but I wanted to try something I wouldn’t naturally gravitate towards.  I didn’t like how the shirt looked online and in store pictures.  But, I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it.  It didn’t bow out in the back as much as I thought it would and it fit nicer in the front than I expected.  This shirt is TTS with some room.  So depending on the fit you want, you can stay TTS or size up for more draping and length.

Thanks! The outfit was a pleasant surprise. I didn’t think I’d want to walk out the store with them. I was just curious about the fit. I’m definitely keeping an eye on this outfit and am considering rethinking where I’ll “freeze” my spending so I can get at least a pair of the Ready to Rulu Joggers.

Love the jogger on you. I ordered my size up 4 in black and camo. They are very comfy but a bit sloppy looking on me. I think I will order my TTS to compare. By the way, black is thicker than camo and weighs ~10% more on my kitchen scale. Haha, I can be very nerdy.

Mrs O, do you mind me asking what kind of underwear you have on? I love Lulu’s mula bikini but they have vpl :(. I don’t do thong.

Thanks. I really want these joggers. My size up seemed too sloppy on me as well, which is why I stayed TTS. I’m nerdy like that about things too. Very interesting! I thought the black seemed heavier. I’ve never thought to weigh my clothes when I thought there was a weight difference.

I think I was wearing Victoria’s Secret Pink Cheeksters. The Pink cheeksters is cut smaller than the women’s cheeksters. I got them on a recommendation from another reader on this blog. Make sure you get the right size because they do stretch out a bit. If they are too big, they tend to bunch at the edges under tights. I also wear LLL’s Namastay Put Hipster, which I think is better but I don’t want to spend $18 a pair for underwear. I only get them when they are marked down. The VS ones are good enough and you can get 5 for $25.

I have tried so many different undies. Not sure if I tried the Pink cheeksters. I have to check them out. They look similar to Hanky Panky’s boyshorts, which I like but is too large on me even in XS. Thanks for the recommendation!

I feel exactly the same way about the draw strings on the outside of the track pants. They would wear so much nicer if it was on the inside of the waist. Why lulu why? That outfit looks very nice on you 🙂

you can actually wear the draw cord in or out. there is a small slot on the inside of the waistband so you can wear it either way!

Really? On all joggers? I’m going to have to check it out. I can’t believe I didn’t know this sooner. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks! I was surprised that I would like it so much. And it was very comfy. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will go on markdown when I’m ready to purchase it. I was disappointed I didn’t get the tech lux jacket in garnet before it sold out in my size. I don’t need it so I’m not going to bother with a store search. Spending freezes are no fun!
