The ladies' legs in those tech mesh WUS look like bound mummy legs. And I keep seeing the same design at various athletic wear companies. Been there, done that.

what stores? GEC claims U.S. does not have them (of course) :/

    Canada?At some point??

I called 3 downtown Chicago stores and they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for the Wunder Under Tech Mesh. I will be near one of them tomorrow so I will stop in and check, but I think it's crazy how none of the store employees knew what the product was!

    • GiselaP says:

I live in Chicago too and did the same thing they had no clue. One actually was rude and said, yeah those came out in 2014 they won't be re releasing those again. Why are these 'educators' never really educated in their own product? Anxiously waiting for them too!

    • Anonymous says:

That drives me nuts too! Especially when they give attitude about it!

    • Jen says:

Update: I stopped into the Southport (Chicago) store this morning and they didn't have them. The girl working said that they have been getting a lot of calls about them lately (and even mentioned that it must have been posted online somewhere – haha!), but that she didn't know when/if they would be getting any in.

    • GiselaP says:

Ugh! Why! I think the one at 900 N Michigan is supposed to be the flagship store but my experience is that the store in Rush/Walton gets stuff the other stores don't.

     nope, no thanks.

Indeed not everyone can pull these off and few can rock them. They are not to my liking, at all. I don't understand they hype but even people who don't shop LLL regularly are after these.

I see on Kijiji Canada a couple of people in Edmonton are selling the Wanderlust version.

    • Anonymous says:

I don't like them either. Mummy legs are a good description. As you can see from the variety of pics above that LLM posted, no size or shape of leg is minimizing the "Mummy"….

    • Anonymous says:

All the legs above look bad in them. Not a pretty look.

    • Anonymous says:

As others have noted, styling is everything for these pants. To me, they only look good as part of a punk aesthetic and none of the ladies above are making it work. In my younger years, I think I could have pulled it off, but I'm afraid that on a 47 year old, it's going to come across as someone who got a little too into 50 Shades of Gray… Desperate. Sad.

    • Anonymous says:

I totally agree with you anon 7:30am. I even wrote something similar regarding what you said about only looking good as part of a punk aesthetic in LuluAddcit's blog when she first posted about them yesterday but it hasn't been posted yet.

I wear a lot of black, a lot of leather, big jewelry, loud colors and prints, you name it…and these are just silly. Too costume-y.

    • Anonymous says:

Costume-y is actually spot on. For 99% of us that is the only way they would work – as part of a Halloween party costume as a "zombie stripper" (stealing that description from another comment I read on the blogs) or as a trashy dominatrix or something along those lines. As for these tights being described as sexy, I don't agree, unless of course we're talking about a trashy kind of sexy, but I wouldn't say they are a classy kind of sexy.

Called the Lynwood store and snagged one in each color via phone order.

  8. Anonymous says:

    These are awesomely funny.

  9. Anonymous says:

I'm sorry but hell these are ugly and unflattering tights. I don't understand the hype for these either.

I ordered that very expensive coat and had to return it. It's beautiful but I am usually a size 6 or 8 in all coats and I was swimming in the 6! WTH. Such a bummer for the cost. I would have kept it if it had fit and I'm not about to order a smaller size!!!! It's an online only item so good luck if you dare to order.

This bomber is in my local store in Calgary. I've seen other ladies posting their try on pics of this coat at their local shops as well. U.S. and Canadian locations.

    • Anonymous says:

ya what if you can't get to a store, more sizing info and pictures that show how the coat actually fits different sizes would be appropriate to help when ordering!!

Hi anon 7:43, This coat is also at the London, On store. It looks really nice in person but I didn't try it on as I am not in the market for a new coat. Did pick up two Paris of city trek trousers pointe though. I bought the deep indigo ones in the fall and they are the nicest most comfortable pants I have had on. Don't like the price point but the quality, fit and and durability of the fabric overrid that. Also picked up the sit in lotus sweater in inkwell. LLM was right, some of the merino wool offerings this year are a really good quality and the cut of the sweater was not boxy and quite flattering. That's my x-mas splurge!

  11. Anonymous says:

The bomber looks nice! Wish I could say the same for the Tech mesh… :/

It's been a long time since I was truly excited about a purchase, probably as far back as my Fleecy Keen/Fuel Green purchase so it's nice to see others here excited about a product and I am happy for them. I have said it before and will say it again, I hope their 20th anniversary in 2018 will be a year filled with past hits and classic reruns. Oh what fun it would be to feel that excitement all year long.

  13. Anonymous says:

Wow, what a bunch of petty cattiness. There's a reason these sell out every time Lulu releases them. They do look good styled correctly. If I recall from an old LLM post, she also has a pair. I suppose you all think she looks ridiculous in a pair of what you deem ugly mummy tights right?

  14. Anonymous says:

The tech mesh tights are kind of dorky and give off a serious sausage casing vibe. Just don't seem effortless or sexy, to say nothing of how many pairs are running around other there, from LLL and other brands. The pants are wearing a lot of these girls and not the other way around.

    • Anonymous says:

Agree with you! I don't think I've seen these pants flatter anyone who wears them, no matter what their body type. They don't come off as effortless or sexy but rather as way too "try hard" and "wannabe". Also this – "The pants are wearing a lot of these girls and not the other way around."

  15. Unknown says:

Called the el segundo, ca store to see if they had the tech mesh tights in stock. The ed was so confused. She started naming off all their rights that have mesh…

How are you ladies getting through to stores? I've called a couple stores here in California, and it goes directly to voicemail with a promise they will call back? I've called several times and am not getting through! Left a message the last call, but am not optimistic. ugh!

    • Anonymous says:

A lot of stores do this during busy times, leave a message though, most will call you back same day or early the next.

My local store (San Jose) never answers, no matter what time of year and often doesn't call back for a few days, so frustrating! But most do return the call.

    • Anonymous says:

Anon 12:51 here….San Jose, that's my local store too!!! Santana Row!!! UGH

  17. lulubell says:

I've been trying to find the floral print scuba that was released a few weeks ago. None of the stores near me got it, so I'm wondering if it online only? Anyone see it in a store within the US? I'm trying to decide if I should give up or keep searching, lol!!

  18. Anonymous says:

I wouldn't be caught dead in those mesh pants. And I'm a size 4. These will make those comfortable with their body uncomfortable. No one wants to see tasteless thigh flesh.

  19. Anonymous says:

totally OT but I am desperately looking for the heather slate wunder unders in a size 4. Looks like they may only be available in Canada? If there is an Canadian angel that would be willing to help please email me at [email protected]
    TIA! and happy holidays!!

  20. Anonymous says:

LoL @ tasteless thigh flesh well put

  21. Anonymous says:

I actually think these ladies look fabulous in the pants!! I believe in wearing what makes you feel great, regardless of your age or what others may think. I ordered both colors on the Canadian site and am super excited to get them, as I missed out on them before!
