More of The Inspire Pullovers and Swell Jacket + More

by Cristina September 8, 2010
written by Cristina

Hope your not tiring of seeing these pictures but I’m someone who needs to see various pictures of a color when I don’t get to see it in person before I decide. I’m preparing myself to have to order it if it pops up in the upload tomorrow before it hits stores.

*I’m updating pictures here as they come up.

Is this a new amphipod belt in pink? I’m needing to replace my hydration belt for something less abrasive  and bouncy. What are your thoughts on the amphipods?

And one shot of the Swell jacket in Coal and Oasis. I like this jacket but I it’s not something I need or am in love with.

And more pictures with the Inspire Pullover paired with the Cross Train Crops

Senorita Pink Inspire Crops paired with the Run: Recharge Tank in Senorita Pink on a fellow short statured lady. I love being short sometimes because it gives me the option of hiking up my crops or pulling them down. Just saying, it’s not all bad.

Does anyone know if the Coal Luxtreme shows sweat much? I reader from a few posts down is wondering.

Fit Review Personal Pictures – Modern V LS, Inspire Crops, Swiftly Tee and SE Scuba

by Cristina September 8, 2010
written by Cristina

Back by popular demand, personal fit reviews. This top picture is the newest print of the Modern V Neck Long Sleeve Coal/BKFP. I’ve decided that I like this print very much and wont be on the look out for a newer better color. I’m wearing a Free to Be bra underneath which is low cut and as you can tell the  cleavage in this top is not so bad when you size down. I got this in a size 6 and the sleeves and body length are still on the long side.

This is the other long sleeve that I saw yesterday with the side panels in grey. I really don’t like the contrast panels.

This picture shows the rise on the Inspire Crops which are higher rise than my Run: With It Crops. As you can see here it creates a bit of muffin top but not enough to bother me. I prefer a slightly higher rise so that I don’t show plumbers but when I run and so that I feel more tucked in. I got this in a size 8 and I’m glad now that I’ve been wearing these all morning that I didn’t go with a size 6. I’ll be running in them this afternoon so i’ll update on this post how they’ve held up.

The newest Swiftly Tee in Lolo Purple which I love. Got it in a 10 because the 8  showed too much muffin top to wear with jeans. I think this is my favourite Swiftly color so far. You can also see here the length of the crops on my 5″4, short legs. This is how they sit naturally but I can pull them down so they touch my socks or I can hike them up a little bit. Either way works.

Close up of the Lolo Siwftly and my matching chipped nail polish. Chi – Knight in Shining Armour, in case you were wondering.

And my new SE Scuba Hoodie which I love. Got this in an 8 and it feels really comfortable.

Inspire Pullovers, Cross Train Crops and Swiftly Tees

by Cristina September 8, 2010
written by Cristina

All four of the Inspire Pullovers in this picture and the Cross Train Crops on the bottom. The Senorita Pink Inspire Pullover looks quite saturated in every picture i’ve seen. I wonder how close to real life that color is. The Cross Train Crops are supposedly shorter crops that hit just bellow the knee for those of you that like shorter crops.

Another shot of the Senorita Pink

And the Inspire Crops in River Rock.

Run: Inspire Pullover in Heathered Black & Heathered Lolo

by Cristina September 7, 2010
written by Cristina

I like it! What do you guys think? I know I’m getting the Heathered Lolo but I’m considering the Senorita Pink if I like it when I see it. This was my other color choice.

I really am liking the look of this running pullover and I’m glad they didn’t add a hood to it. That’s a big pet peeve of mine in running tops because I find them useless and irritating while running. Some of you may disagree but I can’t stand hoods because they flop around and when you wear them you lose your peripheral vision. I love the pocket placement on the hip and angled down. This is the same pocket that’s on the cross train pullover and it’s much easier to use then my Run: Like the Wind Pullover (really like that top though) which has the pocket in the middle back. The strategic ribbed panels at the hips are really great for broader hips and actually running in, much better fit and more freedom of movement.

Product Notifications, Swell Jacket + Brisk Run Gloves & More

by Cristina September 7, 2010
written by Cristina

Pricey at $108 but I like the idea and the design. Keep in mind that if you wear the rip stop side out in the rain you’ll need for it to fully dry before you reverse it again. Duh. But I just think you wont be reversing it from going outside to indoors as much as you may have thought you would. Also, would you wear a hoodie with the inside being ripstop if you were in the mood to wear a cozy hoodie?

Also, the SE CRB with the mesh back is now appearing in lower mainland stores. I haven’t seen it yet but it’s in the product notifications. I’ll post new items here as I get them.

I am reversible! Wear me ripstop side out for some element protection or cotton side out for a totally different look!
Exterior is made of stretch ripstop for water and wind resistance
Interior is made of cotton french terry which is oh-so-comfy & breathable
Zipper pockets to secure $ & keys
Thumbholes for keeping hands warm and sleeves in place
Preshrunk so there are no surprises when washed!Brisk Running items are now available in Senorita Pink (ear warmers, toque, neck warmer and gloves)

New Modern V Neck Print

by Cristina September 7, 2010
written by Cristina

I picked this Modern V Neck Long Sleeve with the color code Coal/BKFP in a size 6 and like it on a lot better now that I’ve brought it home and tried it on than I liked it in the store. I got it because my friend really liked it a lot and, well, you know how peer pressure works. So not sure yet if it’s staying home with me or not. They also had a Lolo one but it had the contrast panels on the sides in grey which I strongly dislike. I also got my Swiftly T in Lolo purple which I ended up grabbing in a size 10. The Swiftly looked good in an 8 if I’m only using it for running because I don’t get muffin top with my running crops so it’s ok, but I do with my jeans and I plan on wearing the swiftly both casually and as running gear so I wanted the bit of extra tummy room. They also had the Senorita Pink Swiflty T but it had the contrast raglan sleeve and I didn’t like that and they had the River Rock one which looked too close to Angel Blue/Lagoon/Oasis and also had the raglan contrast.  I saw Run: Inspire Crops in River Rock were being put out just as I was leaving even though I was told that everything that was to come out today was already stocked on the shelves….grrrrr. Again, no Run: Inspire Pullover even though I fully expected to see it today and none of the new items I posted about yesterday…unless these items were not yet unpacked.

So what do you ladies think of this print in the Modern V neck? Should I keep it? I like that it’s a neutral but not all black or all grey…

Scuba Hoodie & Awareness Tank Pictures

by Cristina September 7, 2010

New Scuba Hoodie in Porta-Pottie Green
Awareness tank worn as a skirt/dress. I must admit that I actually like this picture of it…I just wonder if it looks smooth all the way around or if you can tell that it’s a top worn around your waist.

New Jacket + New Crops and More

by Cristina September 6, 2010
written by Cristina

Reversible Swell Jacket. This looks like it’s a hoodie on one side and a rain proof jacket on the other side. What a great idea!!!

And more shots of the Inspire Pullover. I love the curve hugging contrast seams on the sides.

New Crops! Run: Cross Train Crops. Love the look of them but it looks like it has mesh at the calf all the way up which is not ideal for me for Fall running.

New Top in that Circle Mesh Silveresence Combination called the Personal Best Singlet. This is better then the last ones that came out in this combination. I like the seaming under the bust and I much prefer this in Lolo than the last colors that where out. I’ll give it a chance but I don’t need it. I’m stocking up on Lolo and Senorita Swiftly’s when they come out because there much softer.
New Skirt. For Fall running. Maybe treadmill running. It’s called the Personal Best Skirt. Does it look longer to you guys? if it is a longer skirt I may consider it for spring/summer running and grab it now, lest they change there minds about offering a longer skirt.

Run Swiftly SS. New Color. Looks like River Rock with Contrasting in Grey. I don’t love the contrasting around the crew neck but the raglan contrast is nice. I like that the whole sleeve isn’t contrast like the last one that was out in Angel Blue.
Modern V neck Long Sleeve. LOVE!!! Want this in a different color though.

Another New Bra

by Cristina September 6, 2010
written by Cristina

It’s called The Bust Stops Here. This is a heavy duty bra with major support for those of you that like zero bounce. It has adjustable straps so hopefully it can be worn under a Cool Racerback. I love the silly names they have for bras. Ta Ta Tamer, Boobs on A Wire and The Bust Stops Here. Now if they could just make a nursing bra for runners I would be very happy. Can you imagine what name they would have for that bra?
The Bust Stops HereThe Bust Stops HereAlternate View

  • We’re talking EXTREME SUPPORT here ladies!
  • Feather light, maximum coverage bra for the C-DD bust girl!
  • 4-way stretch power luxtreme™ fabric has inherent wicking & high LYCRA® content for maximum support

  • Wide padded straps distribute weight & won’t dig in!
  • Molded hook-&-eye closure for easy on/off
  • Adjustable, crossable straps!
