I got nothing today but I’m still trolling the exchange page. What did you guys buy today?

Persimmon Scoop Neck Tank. I’m actually really loving the bit of Persimmon contrast on grey. I can handle Persimmon as a contrast.

I say I hate a color but then I find a few items in that color that I love. I wish this scuba came with a fuzzy furry inner hood. I’m pretty sure I’ve reached my Christmas wish list max but I may sneak this one in somehow.

Run: Dash Crop. FINALLY! I really like the look of these and if there still around in the Spring i’ll be getting a pair.

Heart Tanks. I love them but they just don’t work on me. I really like the Very Violet paired with black. Not so sure about the Black straps on the Persimmons and Grey top, I think that one should have had grey straps.

50 Rep Bra. This one is more matte Static Wish like the Power Y and not so much like the silky Cool Racerback.

Dash LS in Static Persimmon. This is a pretty wild color.

Pretty much the only thing I would get if it comes up tomorrow would be a Fuzzy Fleece Pullover (look to your right of the screen and you’ll see my coveted one) in some new incarnation or off of the Exchange or ebay. A Gratitude Wrap if there is a new incarnation or an old Heathered Fox one from the Exchange Page. I miss Lululemon 2009. Oh, I could possibly be swayed by a new solid colored Dash LS. I really like some of the statics that have come out but I’m pretty much done with statics. There is only so much static one can have.

What are you considering for tomorrows upload? or potential uploads on ebay or the exchange page?

*I’ll be adding pictures to this post as they come up.

All of the current Swiftly Tech LS & SS

Run: Inspire Crops

50 Rep Bra & Poncho Striped Flow Y Bra. I saw the Static Wish Blue 50 Rep today and was tempted. It’s the same look as the matte luon static Power Y and not the shiny polyester added luon version.

The Bust Stops Here (I like the Coal one)

Static Coal Run Dash.

Featherweight Socks 3 Pack

by Cristina November 10, 2010
written by Cristina

Man I love cute socks for running. I’m a huge fan of the featherweights and whenever I see a fun print I grab a pair. I get really sweaty feet when running and I have not once gotten a blister while wearing these. I have gotten blisters from my Nike socks but I think that may be because of the accidental use of fabric softener. I think the 3 pack is quite reasonably priced at $24.  These ones are the Haze, Wish Poncho Stripe and Wish (WSHB/WBPS/HAZE). In case you like the fabric content details these are 59% Tactel, 40%Nylon, 1%Lycra

OT: my two year old insists we call socks Shia-Shias for some strange reason. She can say socks but her preference is Shia-Shias.

Some Detail Shots Comparing The Inspire Pullover With The Dash Pullover

by Cristina November 10, 2010
written by Cristina

For those of you without access to a store and wondering which Running Pullover would suit you better here are some comparisons between the Inspire Pullover and the Dash Pullover.

1. The Dash on the left is a size 8 and the Inspire Pullover on the right is a size 10. I find the Dash to be overall bigger then the Inspire and more tall person friendly. I find the sleeve length to be longer in the Dash as well as the body length.

2. Zipper Guards. The Inspire has a ruched collar and a zipper guard all the way down to the bottom and the Dash has a much shorter zipper guard. Also, the Inspire has a finished sewn in collar on the inside where as the Dash Collar is more like the Define Jackets in that it’s unfinished at the bottom creating a pocket. Because of the ruched collar and double layer of fabric on the Inspire it is much warmer around the neck. My neck and chest gets chilled while running in cooler weather so I like the added warmth around the neck.

3. Pocket Comparisons. The Dash has two corners with zipper ends that are not sewn all the way around leaving a bit of a raw edge. For the purpose of running this is bothersome for me (wether I wear this with a tank underneath or as a base layer) but for simple active wear such as playing at the park with my kids or going for walks it’s not an issue.

The newest Inspire Pullovers (Teal Zeal, Lilac) have the pockets sewn all the way around.

And just as a further comparison of running pullover pockets from the past, this top one is the Run: Like The Wind Pullover. The pocket is sewn in top and bottom with no raw edges exposed.

The Spirit Pullover is sewn top and bottom but also has some diagonal seams on the top right and left side of the pockets. No raw zipper edges.

Persimmons Swiftly & New Lime & Black Items

by Cristina November 10, 2010
written by Cristina

I actually really like Persimmons in the Swiftly Material.

Wish Swiftly SS (also comes in LS)

Swiftly Haze

Swiftly Very Violet

I’m loving this Black Scoop Neck Tank. I know, how totally boring of me. I’ve been waiting and waiting for a Scoop Neck Tank to buy but I’ve been wanting one to be all one color so it’s the shape of the tank that stands out  and not so much the color or print because I love the neckline. Wish was nice but this is more versatile. This will be my very first Scoop Neck Tank if I can manage to get my hands on this one. Also, I’m loving the lime, charcoal and black Combo. A few posts down I mention the Cuddle Up is coming in Coal/Lime but I admit when I first heard that I wondered because I hadn’t heard or seen any mention of Lime being introduced.

Scoop Neck in Haze/Coal – Well I like this one too but I prefer the black on I think
Scoop Neck- Poncho Stripe

Haze Scuba

Snorkel Scuba This one is also labeled Haze but it looks quite different from the picture above. I feel that maybe this one is Snorkel and maybe mislabelled? There are Snorkel items coming soon so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Run Speed Shorts (top two pictures) and Groovy Run Shorts. I kinda like this retro print. I’ve been considering getting some shorts for my late night treadmill runs so these may be the ticket.

More Static Persimmon. I hate it but I’m weirdly attracted to it.

Wish Swiftly LS

by Cristina November 10, 2010
written by Cristina

I love this Swiftly, it looks like Denim. But I really don’t need another swiftly and would prefer a warmer top now made of running luon or technical fleece. It was freeeeeezing cold here in Vancouver today and I regretted not wearing my very warm Spirit Pullover.

New Photos – Static Persimmon, Dash Items, Alignement Tank & Heart Tank and More

by Cristina November 9, 2010
written by Cristina

Keep checking back at this post. I’m adding pictures here as they come up.

Very Violet Heart Tank

Scoop Neck Tank in Persimmon

Swiftly LS in Very Violet. I like this one. I only handled the Haze Swiftly yesterday but I didn’t notice it being as delicate as the Lilac one felt to me.

Static Persimmon Dash LS, Dash Pullover in Persimmon, and Swiftly LS in Very Violet.
New Scuba Color. Not sure what this is. Not Oasis or River Rock…any guesses?

Black Scoop Neck Tank?

Wow, I love this Alignement tank in Persimmon. I think this would be my low commitment, branching out top in this color. Worn here with the Poncho Stripe Yogini Pants.

Ribbed luon detailing

Run Swiftly Tech LS in Haze (thought this was a Dash LS at first, now I’m pining for that).

Static Persimmon. Not liking it very much. In person you could see a lot of the white flecks in the static so it just reminded me of a creamsicle. But…It does look fantastic on this model. I also saw a Static Persimmon Dash LS and that one was very creamsicle ish. Picture of the Dash LS posted below with the Outward Bound Running Pants.

Scoop Neck Tank in Wish/Poncho. I think I like this version of Poncho stripe. I haven’t liked it so far except for in a Flow Y peaking under a Wish CRB so in small subtle doses it seems to be fine. this is a fun Scoop Neck which we haven’t seen in a while.

Static Very Violet Dash Pullover and Static Persimmon:

And more shots of the Dash Pullover. I’ve tried it on two more times since last night and I’m still undecided. I measured it roughly against my Inspire Pullover and the Dash Pullover is longer by a few inches. Keep in mind that my Inspire Pullover is a size 10 and the Dash I got is an 8, so the difference is quite a bit. I also think you need to stay TTS in the Dash and if your between two sizes go with your lower size. It makes a huge difference where the yoke seam over the bust hits you.

And worn with the new Dash tight. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the fit of these tights.

Yogi Dance Pant. Very Violet/ Static Charcoal.

Heart Tank in Coal and Haze

Great Shot of The Run Dash Pullover

by Cristina November 9, 2010
written by Cristina

This would be the figure that the yoke seam detailing at the bust is flattering on. I tried it on again tonight for my husbands opinion and he quite likes Wish Blue. His only negative comment is that it’s very long. The solid color running luon is hard to pass up because it’s so soft and cozy where as the static running luon, although silky it’s just not as cozy and soft.

Maaaybe I would branch out into Persimmon in another top like a Cool Racerback. Something low commitment.
And the Swiftly LS in Very Violet. I saw this today next to the Persimmons one but I think the ones I saw were short sleeves. They were apart from the other LS Swiftlys that came in today in Wish and Haze so I’m almost certain the Very Violet and Persimmon was Short Sleeved.

New Pictures Up – Lots Of Great Stuff Today!!

by Cristina November 9, 2010
written by Cristina

Run Dash Pullover. Ok. I’m warming up to Persimmon but I’m not sure I can pass up Wish Blue for Persimmon. Currently my Dash pullover has been packed away and ready to be returned tomorrow morning unless I have a change of heart.

Worn here with the Yogini Tights. I saw these today and didn’t even try them on. The contrast ruffle is just not a good thing for legs that aren’t gifted in length or sveltness. If you can pull them off then I think the little ruffle on the bottom is cute but they just wont work for me.

The Coal and Haze (ruffle part is haze) is much subtler then this one. Also saw a Static and Very Violet (ruffle was Very Violet).

The Outward Bound Pants. Look pretty great on her. I really like the strait leg on these pants with the reflective detail on the lower leg.

Alignment Tank In Wish Blue. I like it better all one color instead of the contrast Haze/Coal one that I tried on this morning. I saw the other colors but I wanted to grab one were the details were prominent. I also saw a bunch of new Heart Tanks in new colors. The one that stood out was Very Violet with Black.
