The Lululemon Upload is live! As always, this is a live updating post so keep refreshing for the new content. The intro post gets updated last.
This weeks Intro
Two items I loved today, Blue Glow Hotty Hot Shorts, and the Heathered Prism Pink Swiftly SS 2.0.
This was a relatively small upload but there where some great picks here. Honorable mention goes to the new Inner Glow Shorts, and the Well Being Crew Sweater Linen. I’m also intrigued by Saddle Brown. I don’t love it in leggings for my skin tone but the color is such a great neutral for a sweater or hoodie, or a run jacket. I’d really love a Seek Vistas 1/2 Zip or On The Trails 1/2 Zip (with contrasting black zipper) in Saddle Brown. A neutral camel color in a run jacket would be so unusual!
This year the summer items have been pretty great. Normally I am much more a Lululemon Fall-Winter shopper and my interest wanes in the summer. This year I didn’t get too excited over the cozy Fall/Winter items and that may have been because of the transition from Lee Holeman’s ceremonious departure and the disruption that may have caused to production. We had some very light uploads over the holidays. This Summer though has been stellar for me. I am loving the colors and designs this season. I think it’s been that way for a lot of shoppers since we have had so many items selling out on upload day, just like ‘the good ol’ days’. This can be partially attributed to distribution/supply chain hiccups during coronavirus pandemic shut downs. Generally though, Lululemon has faired really well in that department compared to a lot of other retailers who’s supply chain has been really impacted. Lululemon has a spent the last few years heavily investing in the shopping experience, supply chain and distribution and it’s now paying off for them. They did have a hiccup with online return processing delays but I think that’s now normalized. I did an online return last week and it took just 3 days to process. Normally online returns take at a minimum 7 days for me (outside of covid). With the long store lineups and avoiding unnecessary outings, I have been opting to use online returns.
I am also loving the general attitude from the company during the past four months. Did you see Lululemon’s Facebook announcement yesterday about putting Facebook in the penalty box?
Another thing I’ve been really excited about? My content formatting changes. I don’t know why but adding my own creative touch to this digital space has been fun and exciting. Figuring out my branding and vibe and how to translate that into visual cues was a fun project. Learning how to execute was rewarding but also very frustrating. I hope you like the changes in the upload posts. I’d love your feedback on it. Does it work for you? Being aesthetically pleasing and visually cohesive is useless if it’s not functional for the end user, so please do let me know if something is not working for you or could be better. I have a few other changes coming soon, so stay tuned!

I wonder how close blue glow is to aquamarine? I love aquamarine and only have a CRB I in it.
It does remind me a lot of aquamarine. Maybe slightly greener and a touch darker?
