Guys, thank you so much for recommending the Gapfit Breathe Tie Back Tank. Because of your recommendations I ended up stopping in at the Gap today and exploring their Gapfit department, and I found these amazing Wonder Woman tights. My daughters and I LOVED the movie by the way, and a few weeks ago I saw that Gap had some Wonder Woman merchandise online. I really liked the look of the women’s tights online but I couldn’t tell that they where a luxtreme like material, and that the embossed shield and lasso print was actually a rubberized gold – and really nice quality. I thought it was silkscreened. For some reason I had a bit of a bias thinking that the merchandise would be inferior quality so I didn’t order when it was all available online. I also took for granted that there would be so little wonder woman merchandise in general available. What is up with that!! I am so excited that I found these in store today (online return) and that they where part of the sale markdown pricing, and that the quality and fit where amazing. Unfortunately for Canadians I think these are sold out online (nope – there is a size M available in the lasso version), but you can do the store search and find them in several Canadian stores. For US shoppers though you have two legging options available, as well as some more women’s clothing. I wish I’d snatched up the bra when it was online last week.
The fit of these are comfortable TTS with a lot of stretch, but full opacity. As I mentioned above, the material is like a luxtreme but soft on the inside like nulu – they don’t feel too warm at all despite being full length leggings. The rise is higher with a wide waistband. I take a size 10 at Lululemon and these are a size L. With the sale they came out to $41.97!
These are the GapFit Sculpt Compression Capris in the color Royal and they are the most vibrant jewel tone. These fit snugger than the leggings above, but that was expected in compression tights. They are a luxtreme like material with a slight bit of sheen but full opacity in a deep squat. These where not included in the sale but I loved the fit and feel of them and at $69, they where still a bargain.
This is the Gapfit Breathe Tie Back Tank that so many of you recommended and I definitely have to agree that this is the better purchase. The neckline is lower and much more comfortable, the material is nice and soft and there are dozens of colors to choose from. The price point is great at $29.95, but the sale price was even better at $17.97.

I love those leggings on you! I own the Gap tie tank and I like the material more than the Pima Cotton one Lulu uses. 🙂 Plus Gap ALWAYS has sales!
I was just thinking of going to GAP to try on the tie tank. I haven’t shopped at GAP for myself since college! I’ll have to check it out this weekend. Hope they have the Wonder Woman tights! I just loved the movie. I loved the way she was so fierce but feminine. I think having a female director made the difference. Glad to hear you and the girls had a great time out. I have a strong suspicion that lots of women will be dressed as Wonder Women this Halloween.
I love the GapFit Tie Back tanks better than the lulu ones! They are pretty much exactly the same in seaming and fit but I like the lower neckline on the Gap ones better.
The Breathe tanks are great for running and other workouts too. Fitted without showing every lump and bump, they keep me cool during those hot workouts!
I love the Gap for workout wear. I have been wearing their sculpt line pants and capris. They really are wonderful. The breath line tops are some of my favorites. I am really liking the breath twist tanks and the a-line breath tanks. They are nice and airy and just float on your body.
The Nike dry fit tops you mentioned in a different post are on the Hudson Bay website for discounted prices.
If anyone is going to the Canfitpro conference in Toronto in August they have different Athletic companies selling exercise wear. They are having Lorna Jane there this year.

GAP has definitely improved a lot on their GAPFIT line in the last two years. I recently bought a few leggings and capris in their Blackout line and really love the material and cutting. The pricing is reasonable and they always have sale. I got both of the spacedye Blackout leggings at around $30 (original price was $69.95) and it really was a steal. Their tanks are also well made with nice, breathable material. I don’t particularly like their bras though, as even size XS runs big on me (100 lbs with a small frame).
Love that beautiful blue — reminds me of pigment blue that lululemon seems to be avoiding. I’m going to check out gap.com now… thanks
I have the Tie-back in black currently and just ordered white. I love this tank! And you can’t beat the price!
Thanks for the info. Haven’t bought Gap since college but had to try some of these after reading your review. Can’t wait for them to show up in the mail!!
