Upload!!!

March 15, 2016

Annoyingly even though we can view the Canadian upload we cannot access any of the new items. Nothing interesting for me anyways but I like getting a close up view of some of the items such as the Rio Mist Scuba Hoodie III. I may have been interested in the Lucent Tank but not for $98. Did you see anything you like?

Last week I ordered the In Flux Crops in white using paypal but the order did not complete for some reason (issue on Lululemon’s side) and Lululemon is still holding onto my paypal funds so I’m not happy about that and was already not inclined to order anything tonight.

I think since October the only thing I've purchased is a single CRB. All the stuff in the uploads seems so random and uncoordinated.

Every item I click on says unavailable on website. What the heck Lululemon!

  3. Anonymous says:

Me too….every single item I click in says sold out…. 🙁

  4. Anonymous says:

….even in the men's what's new section every item says sold out….. hope they fix it soon

Me too…on the Canadian website. However, if I click over to the U.S. website, everything is fine…maybe just a Canada problem 🙁

Wow, did the Lucent stuff sell out that quickly?! What time was the upload? Or is it a glitch? I'm surprised considering most of the comments prior to the upload seemed to indicate low interest in expensive product that was all black. I just wanted to see some views of the jacket. I might have purchased the ice-queens if I didn't already own a black pair. Thanks for saving me more $ again LLL!

Yes, I see that now… after clicking on multiple items. Someone is NOT on the ball. The Daylight Savings Time is also wreaking havoc on my brain.

    • Lulumum says:

No there is a major glitch. Canadians haven't been able to access any of the uploaded items.

I would like to order the long sleeved swiftly in paradise pink but I guess not.

I ordered Pistachio CRB that got restocked from last summer

Would love to know if the Pistachio CRB is thick or on the thinner side. I have a bunch of dark sports bra I would like to use under it without showming. Thanks

  9. im perplexed at the lucent reflective tank in rulu fabric… seems like an odd choice to me. also lulu did that to me with my funds via paypal on a cancelled black friday order! i had to open a paypal claim for them to finally reimburse my account. was not (and am still not) impressed by that.

I like the cyber stripe HT, the new rack bra and the pink CRB, though I'm not reeeeeally a pink person. I'll see what my store has since I don't feel a "need" for any of it.

LLM, I plan to use paypal to place an order. I was told by an Ed that I would only be given store credit if I return any paypal order to a store. How about if I return by mail, would I get credit back to paypal?

    • Rachel Nye says:

I have returned stuff purchased with paypal and had it refunded to a credit card or cash. Depends on the store/ed.

    • Anonymous says:

PayPal returns via mail get refunded to your PayPal account.

    • Anonymous says:

Thank you, ladies! It is frustrating that it varies from store to store, but at least I can have the funds back to my paypal account if I return via mail.

    • Lulumum says:

If it's paypal I've always done returns onto my credit or debit card. If they are picky I think they insist on returning it back to a credit card (makes no sense) but never store credit.

Hi LLM and other readers, I'm interested in the white Street to Studio pants that uploaded to the US tonight. Do you go with your normal STS pant size or size up because this one is lined? TIA.

    • Anonymous says:

I would stay tts and not size up. I am a size 4 in STS even though I find their sizing in the newer version a larger fit than the originals. The waistband on the 11's are over an inch bigger than the originals. I wish they would go back to the original sizing of these because they do tend to stretch over time. I bought the white lined ones in size 4 and they fit the same as my unlined ones. I love my STS and the white ones are a great addition.

I ordered the Heathered Pink Paradise Swiftly Long Sleeve and the Cyber Stripe Black Coal CRB. Really loving Pink Paradise! I just got my Pink Paradise CRB from last weeks order and love it – it's a little on the thin side and wasn't completely opaque over my bust (32DD/E, size 2 CRB) when I tried it on with my striped bra (the dark grey stripes showed through) but certain it will be fine with a lighter colour bra. Also really loving both my Cyber Stripe Boom Juice Alarming and Space Dye Twist Peacock Blue CRBs so had to order the new one too! These ones are super thick because they're a textured fabric. I'd like to get the Pink Paradise Posey print Swiftly Short Sleeve too, but am going to hold out for now.

You should call the GEC to get your paypal sorted out.

former gec ed here – it isn't lll holding onto your funds at all when paypal transactions get cancelled. it's paypal. here's the rundown:

when you press the 'check out via paypal' button, you're actually taken off of the lll site and onto paypal's (most people don't know/realize this!). you give them your money, and then they turn around and say hey lll someone just ordered this, we'll pay you when you ship it out. in the event an order is cancelled (or glitches, or whatever), paypal doesn't know that – the system just assumes the items haven't been shipped yet. i forget the exact timeline, but think paypal holds onto the funds for 7-10 business days? that could be totally off, but it's what i'm thinking for some reason.

if you email lll, they CAN email paypal and say 'hey we're not shipping anything, refund the money', but it's kind of a toss up whether that speeds things up at all. if you open a dispute with paypal, that actually means it will take longer for your funds to come back to you, as someone on both paypal and lll's ends has to physically investigate it (rather than letting the automatic things happen).

still sucks and is frustrating, but that's what's up 🙂

    • Anna says:

Interesting to know the order that things happen. I've had this annoyance multiple times – my biggest frustration is that, unlike other stores and services I use, LLL sends you to PayPal to check out before finalizing the order (so that you can go through PayPal, and then go back to your order to "complete check out" only to find out the item is out of stock.

Surely there must be a better way for LLL to organize a PayPal check out, that would eliminate some of the problems by ensuring the item you are purchasing is in stock and reserved for you, before taking you to PayPal?

    • Anonymous says:

Odd – every site I've shopped on has had that same process. It's usually so seamless that you don't notice, though. I'm not sure how it can be different – the company needs to check that the payment form is valid (I.E., the PayPal account exists and has funds) prior to allocating the product. Maybe it's just that lll product sells faster than many others?

  16. @4:31…..I have been waiting for the Essentials Bag as well and I hate and don't understand why Lulu only makes certain items available in each country. This is a "Canadian" company but they sure don't treat their Canadian customers well. IMO, Lulu should give the Canadian market precedence. Just saying!

Can anyone comment on the fit of the Posey black speeds?

I won't be buying anything from this upload. I like the look of the Comfy As Sweat Pants but I just bought lined DSP on WMTM so I don't really need these right now and it's hard to drop big bucks on a item that is more Fall/Winter product at this time of year. I am loving the Posey Red Grape/Bordeaux but unfortunately they are Speeds and I only buy Run Times and the colour selection in Canada is horrible right now. I hope this is not an indication of what 2016 in Canada will be like for product and colour selection. Not liking the Real Quick Jacket with that style of collar. I do like the look of the Lucent Jacket and the rulu lined collar would be great but the back doesn't look long enough. I like the embroidery on the neck and cuffs but not on the back. I think it would look better had the embroidery been on the back waistband.

Whenever I return anything to the store I bought with PayPal it's always a store credit.

  20. Woohoo! Just went to the store….Essentials Bag is in Canadian stores!!! I bought it and wore it out. It's roomier than the Festival and Hip To Be Free Bags and has a zippered inside pocket and good sized unzipped pockets. There's a large pocket at the back of the bag with a pocket for your phone. The front has a good sized zippered flap. They had black and Kara Blossom in stock at the Sq. 1 store. Also, as it was raining outside, the rain was gliding off the bag. Love it!

Also finally got the Heathered Regal Plum LS Swiftly. The colour is gorgeous!

  21. I had the same thing happen with lulu and PayPal. The funds were held but the order didn't go through. :/ I called and they filled out a form to get the hold off my PayPal in 5 business days. It worked… Frustrating though.

Would have invested in the Lucent line (unfailingly gravitate to black clothing and run/bike at night) but the web glitch at upload meant no go then and by the time I came back from kid duties my size was sold out in everything but the pants. Makes me think there was not a very big run of these given the hype (felt somewhat like Charlie Brown kicking the ball for Lucy last night). Oh well, money saved.

Not only did those Comfy as Sweat Pants come out last year BUT I bought them on extreme mark down, like $34 or something….
