Peace of Mind Vest

by Cristina

OOooh pretty! I think I want this. It’s reversible but I’m not sure to what..maybe coal? Comes in Senorita Pink, Black and Citron. I’ve been wanting a vest for years and never get one because I haven’t found the right fit for me so I’m looking forward to trying this on. This looks promising because it’s contoured to the body and not just a big puffy michelin vest which I hate. I love that it has a hood too. we’ll see. I’m really waiting on the Run: Inspire Pullover before I make another big purchase because otherwise I’ll just get carried away. This is pretty functional though 😀

I love that…. it totally needs to be in my closet since I run in long sleeved shirts and down vests in the winter.

Where did you see this? I have been comtemplating selling my Huff N Puff Vest but didnt want to give it up before I found a suitable replacement. Im excited! Oh and the Huff N Puff vest was $149 and it doesnt have a hood so probably expect it to be somewhere around that mark

I bought the lightweight running vest (no hood) from Athleta for about 100 dollars on sale, so I expect this (if down filled) to be about 130-150. I run in vest because then I never over heat in the winter. My winter gear is running crops/tights, smartwool socks, running vest, and long sleeved running top and hat.

This is a pretty vest!!

I have run in lighterweight (wind/rainproof) TNF vests in the winter, worn over a lightweight top like the Lulu Swiftly L/S. I have not run in down vests before though. While I see a need to be warm in 20s (F) temps, I still get warm on a long run and like to have some cool air on my pits 🙂

I have never run in my Huff N Puff cuz it is down filled, I just run in a swiftly LS and running jacket in the winter.

I run in my down fileed vest for my long runs for over two hours, I guess I am a cold person. I get plenty of ventilation in my arms…:(

No word on price just yet but I'll post it when I see it. Hopefully it's reasonable and not above the $100 mark.

Burnaby. Have you used the Huff N Puff for running at all? how did you find it? $149 may be reasonable if I can use it for running and for to and from. Chafe free and wicking or quick dry and able to withstand copious amounts of sweat.

ok well you've sold me on it. I think I'll pick one up today and hang on to it with tags on. I'll find out price, what it reverses to and what it's filled with. Any other questions you guys want me to ask/find out while I'm there?

I guess it would need some ventilation for it to be good for running. Running around the block would be fine but probably not anything more than 10 minutes :C
