I’ve decided to return both No Limit Tanks despite the fact that I really like Aruba and I also really like the Light Grey Pique. The tank, although very comfortable is just not working on my figure. I have a narrow waist and larger hips so when I wear a tank like this that hides my narrow waist I just look short, stocky and wider. Now I’ll just hope for a more flattering Heathered Aruba tank to come my way.
I picked up the new Raw Blue Dance Studio Pants which I had been hoping we would see. I’m almost certain they will be keepers, especially since they can be worn as crops in the spring/summer. I also got two No Limit Tanks in size 8 (TTS) which I’m unsure about keeping. The Aruba seems almost too green pastel on me and the White/Light Grey Pique is too see thru. I like how light and airy they are and I think I can run in them as the Flow Y is what I usually use when I run, but I don’t love the patch of skin you see on the side under the Flow Y and I also feel a little hip-hop in it. It may also be too poofy for my short stature. I dunno…what do you guys think? My sister may be calling dibs on one of these I’m sure as they are right up her alley. I didn’t see any Run Swiftly Tech LS Black today and that was on the top of my list but I’m hoping I see that tomorrow. Other things I saw were Effortless Tote in all three colors (Black, Aruba, Concord Grape Ikat Print) and they were on for $108. Power Y and Push Ur Limits tank in Rubber Ducky. The Push Ur Limits was really cute and lined with Static Charcoal. Also spotted some restock of the Cabin LS in Black/Ash Grey.
Run Distance Pullover Concord Grape
This is a tech fleece pullover and very warm. The outer part of the pullover is lined with the same material as the Alpine Pants and is super stretchy. It feels like a flexible nylon like material. This will be a lot stretchier then the Alpine Pullover is. I liked the look of it but it is far too warm for Vancouver running so it was a pass. Looks very similar to the Hills Pullover.
Run Willpower Pullover Jacket
This is a light swiftly DWR finish run pullover. The first one I saw was the Ikat print and that was just way too much leopard print on a jacket. the light grey one is not so bad but I wasn’t in love with the design of it.
The Live Healthy Wrap
This wrap is pretty much another version of the Express Yourself Wrap. It has the same panels of fabric in the front which you can throw over your shoulder. I like the length of this one better then the Express Yourself Wrap and am considering this one for my wish list. I need a semi dressy cardigan and I kind of liked this one on me. I think I would like a dark charcoal in it though.
No Limit Tank Light Grey Pique
This one was a surprise find today. I light grey pique Flow Y with white circle mesh body. I purchased this one along with the Aruba No Limit today but I’m not sure I’m keeping them. I do love Light Grey Pique though.
I’ve heard that there is a new Black Run Swiftly Tech LS and I have a feeling this image I posted about last week that I thought was a dark grey is actually black. I will be getting this one if I see it. I feel like I’m suffering Lulu hysteria today with the mention of a new wrap, No Limit Tanks and Pique In Strides. How about you guys?
Thanks to a reader who pointed these out to me we now have some images of the newest Light Grey Pique In Stride Jacket as well as the Black/ Concord Grape Ikat No Limit Tank. I know feel like I need to try on this In Stride before I decide if I love it or not as I’m unsure if I like the white contrast zipper. The loveliness of Pique may prevail despite the white zipper though.
It’s nice to see the No Limit Tank come with a patterned inner Flow Y. I think I like the solid one color No Limits the best though and have a feeling the Aruba/Aruba one will be quite popular.
No Limit Tank Ikat Print, Scoop Neck Tank Tank Concord Grape Ital, Hot Class Bra Coal/Purple Crush
Last week I wrote ‘Dreaming of Another In Stride‘ in hopes of seeing a new In Stride in the same light grey pique/white that was spotted in a new Define Jacket (Light Grey Pique with a white contrast logo on the front). Well, today I was told by a reader that she spotted this very same Light Grey Pique In Stride Jacket at her strategic partner spa. I went in search of this In Stride Jacket today at a local strategic partner Hary Om Yoga Studio but sadly they were closed despite the sign saying open so I was not able to check out the newest items. I’m told they have a new Aruba Scuba as well as the newest Resolution LS’s (Aruba, Heathered Purple Crush/Purple Crush, Purple Crush Define) so I would have liked to have checked those out as well. Alas, it was not meant to be today. I also just got a product notification for the Light Grey Pique In Stride Jacket from an Australian store but the Black Pique is the one that’s shown. I am officially jonesing for this jacket and have it on my ‘need right now’ wish list.
Local stores have been very empty of new items this past week so I’m hoping they get a large product dump on Monday that will include this jacket as well as the No Limit Tank expected in Black/Black, Aruba/Aruba, Coal/Purple Crush. I wont be getting the No Limit Tank myself since it’s not something I would likely use for running in but am hoping to see some great pictures of it that I can share with you.

This photo was just posted to Facebook from someone that purchased theirs at a strategic partner store. I ended up passing on the Resolution LS despite really liking it but I’m finding the Aruba is tempting me.
Resolution LS Aruba
Movement Jacket made of cotton french terry, comes in Black, Concord Grape and Coal and priced at $98. I’m loving the ruching contrast detail on the hood. The Black version is not contrasted in a different color.

Run: Swiftly LS in a gorgeous new Dark Grey and Purple Crush

Groove Pants with new West Coast Wave Print

Is this This IS the newest Purple Crush Scuba. Purple Crush with Pow Pink zipper contrast, inner fleece lining is Concord Grape and a 3rd contrast orange/pink (Flush?) on the hood logo. Thanks to reader Kim for providing these details.
My new Rubber Ducky Cool Racerback Tank arrived today and I must say I really, really like the color. I had a moment this afternoon when I saw the same tank in store and I thought I really didn’t love the shade of yellow as it’s not as creamy as it looks in the website photo and I was hoping for a buttery soft yellow. Even when it arrived I thought for sure it would go back without even trying it on but my husband for some reason wanted to see what I got (perhaps to make sure it was a smaller purchase) so I tried it on and it looked really good with my skin tone. I really liked it under my Power Purple Hustle Jacket and my Power Purple Micro Stripe Cool Racerback. It’s a bit of a bright easter egg contrast with Power Purple but somehow it worked. It’s hard to describe the yellow because it is quite a lot softer then Mac N Cheese but brighter then Chirp. Chirp by comparison looks quite washed out and sad. Maybe it’s more of a lemony yellow. None the less, it’s flattering to me and I have trouble pulling of most yellows so I’m happy that this one worked out and I’m keeping it. One thing to note though is that this Cool Racerback is a touch see through like white luon so you will likely need to insert cups in whatever bra your wearing for some modesty. I haven’t been using my cup inserts very often lately but I did need to use them with this one.
I’ve been really loving my Black Pique In Stride Jacket to pieces this week and have been alternating between wearing it and my Scuba hoodie depending on my temperature needs. The In Stride is really perfect for a rainy day though because I can just throw my Hustle Jacket on over it and it’s the perfect under layer. It’s become my favourite luon jacket of all time and I think my Strides will get neglected. I love that it’s a dark neutral but I think if one were to come in the Light Grey Pique I would have to have it. I’ve read on Facebook that someone spotted a Light Grey Pique Define Jacket with a White Lulu logo contrast on it at her gym and so I think an In Stride in Light Grey Pique is a possibility. I was also day dreaming about Pique coming in other colors such as Heathered Aruba and that would really be lovely. Why can’t Pique come in non neutral colors?
In other non news, I went to Metrotown today to buy jeans (took me over 4 hours to find the right pair!!) and stopped in at Lulu. There was zilch new today. No Ikat Cool Racerbacks, and nothing that I haven’t already seen. I looked at all the new Cool Racerbacks and compared them to older colored Flow Y’s. Very Violet was almost identical to Purple Crush with Purple Crush being ever so slightly lighter. Rubber Ducky seems not as buttery in person as it is in the product alerts but it’s still very close to Chirp. I’ll have comparison pictures for you later tonight when the one I ordered online arrives. Lolo and Concord Grape are almost the same color with Concord being slightly muted and less intense. If you missed out on the other colors then these are good substitutions. I’m contemplating selling my Very Violet Cool Racerback which is half static and half solid with a fully solid Purple Crush Cool Racerback.
I also chatted with the educator at the folding table about Dance Studio Pants and she told me that the educators were all hoping for more colors (hoping, not informed) like a dark navy or Raw Blue and a dark grey darker then Coal. She said the demand was really huge for the Studio Pants over Christmas and they had trouble keeping them in stock so she can’t imagine Lulu wont go with the popularity by adding to the color lineup. I would really like them in the Raw Blue. I have Coal so a darker grey doesn’t really tempt me much but a dark navy blue would really be exciting.
So I left Lulu without anything today but I did find these nice Levi’s Skinny Boot Jeans that were the perfect fit. It has something called the Demi Curve in the back that really suits a curvier figure. I’m impressed because Levi’s have never fit me well before but they have really upgrade the fit and style to be way more flattering. I also picked up a really pretty blouse at Banana Republic with an artsy floral print (no pictures available yet).

Light Grey Pique Wunder Unders

I really like the Heathered Beachy Green Scuba paired with the Beachy Green Cool Racerback Tank and the Repetition Crops. I wish the scuba had a bit more darker contrast to it to balance out the darker zipper.

Savasana Wrap in Heathered Dune and Light Grey Pique Wunder Unders. I’m so tempted by the newest Savasana wrap. I like both this Heathered Dune one and the Heathered Heron Grey/Coal Strata Stripe.
