Lululemon on The Marilyn Denis Show

by Cristina January 19, 2011
written by Cristina

This post is probably exclusively for Canadians. I used to be a big fan of Cityline when Marilyn Denis was on and when she left the show I stopped watching. Sorry Tracy! I’m so happy to see her back on TV with her very own show called The Marilyn Denis Show. Today she had Toska Reno a fitness model, columnist and author as a guest and she was wearing head to toe Lululemon.  She was wearing the Run Dash Pullover in Persimmon, Cool Racerback in Snorkel Blue and a 3rd layer underneath that may have been a Flow Y in Very Violet and run crops that I can’t quite recognize.

And then I went to Toska’s Website to check it out and find a link for her name and low and behold her site is a lululemon smorgasbord. Toska, you are a Lululemon fan just like us, do you read this blog?

Anyways peoples, if your looking for some good Lululemon action shots you should poke around her website. Lots of great pictures of the clothes we love, and while where there we can be inspired to work out like Toska.

Upload Thursday Eve

by Cristina January 19, 2011
written by Cristina

Well I must admit I’m getting antsy about upload tomorrow. I’ve been stocking my store for the Run Swiftly Tech LS  in Black and they haven’t received it yet so I really want to see it uploaded tomorrow. Because I neeeeeeed it and waaaaaaaaant it. Also, my store hasn’t received the newest In Stride Jacket in Light Grey Pique/White that I want to try on. In most pictures the White Zipper and Logo has bothered me slightly but in the one below I think the jacket looks quite cute so I feel I need to try it on before hastily writing it off. I’ve heard a rumour of a Manifesto Purple Crush/Coal No Limit Tank and a stripey Aruba Cabin LS so I wonder if these may be surprise uploads tomorrow. Occasionally lulu uploads items that nobody has seen in stores yet and I think we’re about due for one of these types of magical uploads.

I really want something in Aruba, specifically a tank and hopefully a Heathered Aruba. I passed on the Aruba No Limit Tank and I realize a lot of you think I should reconsider and try it on with Wunder Unders. But I just didn’t love it/need it enough right now to spend $70 on something I would use only for running in, despite the infectious No Limit hysteria at the moment. I decided that I would rather replace my I Just Wanna Run Tank in the summer. Who knows, I may have a change of heart later on. For now I think the type of tank I would like in Aruba/Heathered Aruba would be either the Modern Racer Tank, Gathered Racerback Tank in Organic Cotton or a Circle Mesh Cool Racerback. Something no fuss and layerable either for sweaty endeavors or non. I know there is a Heathered Aruba Scuba out there at some strategic partners and that may be my one Aruba item but I think I want something more Spring/Summer in that color. My sister is going to Fiji this month and I’m trying to convince her of her need to buy the No Limit Tank Aruba. Wouldn’t she be crazy not to get it for her trip? She reads this blog while at work so feel free to post comments to her about how she neeeeeeds this tank. I enable because it makes me feel better 🙂

What are you guys planning on buying tomorrow?

The new lululemon endeavour duffel bag in aruba blue is just stunning. It looks a lot like the Effortless Tote only smaller, which is good, and without the drawcord. This is a much more manejable size for day to day gym use.  The sizing for these new luluelmon bags is: Effortless Tote, is 20 x 15 x 7 while the Endeavor Duffel is 13 x 21 x 6.5. I like the pictures of the bags best when they are modelled, you get a much better idea of size that way. Here are tons of photos of the aruba blue endeavour bag from lululemon carried by many people. I love lululemon women’s gym bags. they are the cutest bags

New Prints?

by Cristina January 18, 2011
written by Cristina

This is a picture of a new version of Unicorn Tears Print which we first saw in the Lulu Hot Shorts in a Lagoon Version. I like the pinks and browns in this and I think it would look really pretty in a Cool Racerback Tank.

And what I’m really excited to see is Ikat Print in a non Black/Concord Grape scheme. The Black/Concord Grape is reading as too cougar print to me and not Ikat faux weave which is what I think the multi color Ikat print lining the Retro Groove Gym Bags looks like. I will probably grab a Cool Racerback Tank in this print if it comes out.

These are all four of the current Movement Jackets. Heathered Koala Grey, Black, Concord Grape and Heathered Charcoal. Comes in sizes 2-12 and is priced at $98. The jacket is cotton french terry but actually feels thinner, more like organic cotton.

The Newest Defines and In Strides

by Cristina January 18, 2011
written by Cristina

These are the newest Define Jackets that hit stores yesterday. Aruba, Coal/Heathered Lilac, Black/Ikat.

And the newest In Stride Jacket in Light Grey Pique/White. I’m not sure how I feel about the white logo and I usually dislike white contrast zippers but I really love light grey pique and want to try this on. I just wish it didn’t have the white contrasted zipper, particularly the pocket zippers.

More No Limit Tank Images.

by Cristina January 18, 2011
written by Cristina

Here are some new No Limit Tank images. I think the Aruba one is the prettiest but I do like the idea of a textured version with the Light Grey Pique. I just wish it had been done with Cole Circle Mesh instead of the white. I wonder if we can expect to see Pique tanks. I’m so sad this tank doesn’t work for me because it’s so comfortable and cool for running. I thought I would sell my too big I just Wanna Run Tank and replace it with this one but I’ll have to find something else that works better for me.

The Push Ur Limits Tank in Purple Crush/Black, Rubber Ducky/Static Charcoal (LOVE this one) and Aruba.

I like this over saturated screen print of the waterwall print on these grooves.

I was correct this morning about the Black Run Swiftly LS. These are the newest Run Swiftly Techs in Aruba/Dark Classic Sports Grey, and the one I’m pining for on the right which is Black.

Run Distance Pullover ~ Black, White and Concord Grape

by Cristina January 17, 2011
written by Cristina

These are all the colors of the new Run Distance Pullover. It’s quite lovely, especially in the Concord Grape. If you’ve tried on the Alpine tights it’s the same material inside and out which is a tech fleece inner liner and the outside is a nylon type flexible fabric. The name choices confuse me a bit. I think the Alpine Tights should have been named Distance Tights as they seem to match this pullover. The Resolution LS which has the same ruched detailing as the Alpine Pullover should have had the same name. The Resolution Pullover looks nothing like the Resolution LS. Sigh…only you true Lulu followers will understand this gripe.
