Well it’s good news and bad news. Currently on the lululemon website Savasana Wraps are marked down to $59. Bonus for those of you that got one at the sale price. Also, some stores have marked down the newest Savasana Wrap in Heathered Navy down to $59. I think last week online there was a markdown of Savasana’s to $89 and if you purchased one of those you may want to call GEC (1-877-263-9300) and see if they will give you the current sale price. There policy is to not do price adjustments but some have received the price difference so it’s definitely worth a shot.   I’m bummed because I got the Heathered Navy Savasana Wrap 2 weeks and  2 days ago on the day it was first released so I won’t likely get a price adjustment. I’m mostly bummed because this is such a new release that I’m left wondering why it’s being marked down so quickly. I feel like I made a bad purchase. Has this happened to you?

Eek, really not a fan of the Cool Down Pants. Something about how they fit snug in the lower waist, top of the butt and then flare out with all of these little pleats is just not to my liking. I also am not loving the textured pockets. 

The Cool Down Crops.

 I think I prefer them in the sized up looser fit of todays previous post on these. Overall though I like the Dance Studio Crops much better then these. 

I think the Cool Down Jacket is pretty nice. 

I bet you we see it in Wren since there are Wren Cool Down Pants. 

 Willpower Shorts

These have the same flare with mini pleats that the cool down pants has. 

 Run Sunblocker Pullover in Blurred Grey. 

I really love it in this blurred grey over all the other colors. It’s not see thru which is a great thing, will match almost anything and it’s such a beautiful warm grey that doesn’t wash me out. I think it’s flattering on everyone I’ve seen wearing blurred grey. 

 Run Resolution Skirt

 Get this fast if you missed out on the last bunch back in January. those were gone within a day and then marked up at ridiculous prices on ebay. 

This new Bum Bag Special Edition has been uploaded to the US/International side of the website. For the price of $54 I prefer the Travel Pooch which is cuter and priced at $48. The ruffles are a cute edition but this is still a fanny pack.

Cool Down Jacket and Pants 

I didn’t see either of these in store today and I would have been interested to try on the jacket. Not so much the pants. I’m not sure what the pants are called but I wonder if it’s “Cool Down Pants” to match the jacket. Judging by the crinklyness of the pants, my guess is that they are made of tencil. 

Run Sunbeam Pullover

I did see Sunblock Pullovers today and didn’t get a chance to try them on since my kids were non cooperative but I felt the fabric and it was much nicer then last years medical glove sunblockers. It felt more like a very thin luxtreme but slightly stretchier then luxtreme.  I hope to try one on tomorrow for the sake of a fit review but I don’t love how see thru they are. I liked the style of last years Savage Green sunblock pullover a bit better with  It was a looser fit around the middle and a dark color, both of which are mummy tummy friendly. A form fitting sheer top is a no go for me. 

Let it Loose Tank

So far two new items have made the facebook albums for Canada stores. The Cool Down Jacket which looks like a reversible luon/sheer luon jacket much like the Dance Studio Jacket but relaxed. And the Run Sunbeam Pullover. The pullover has some strange ruching at the lower arm just like the Aura Jacket has. I like the fitted ruched arms in my Aura Jacket but not sure I would like the seam details and snugness in something I would use for running in. Worth a try on first before I decide though. 

I’m feeling kind of lazy right now about getting out the door to check out lulu for my coveted Heathered Navy Dance Sing Floss Jacket. I suspect it wont be in today but the latest I’ve heard is that one of the  Canada stores got the Wren and not the Navy today, another store is reporting that they will be in ‘early June’ and another says ‘June 6’. So It sounds like they are delaying the release for some reason or another but that it will get here eventually. Hopefully the suspense of not knowing hasn’t caused any of you much distress. 

Lululemon stocks have been downgraded to “underperform” by FBR Capital Markets. FBR Capitalist says the company will be hit by rising costs and poor numbers for Q2 2011 and could result in share selloff. Some investors have chosen to act prior to the June 8 earnings report and stocks have taken a bit of a tumble. I wonder if this downgrade by FBR Capital Markets takes into account the expected Q1 disruption with the ecommerce revamp and the interruption to sales.

Company’s shares closed at $89.82, down $5.66, on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange. FBR Capital Markets downgraded the stock of Vancouver-based sportswear retailer Lululemon Athletica to “underperform” ahead of its quarterly results and said the company’s margins may be pressured in the near term.”The stock appears priced to perfection and we believe any glitch on earnings could result in a sell-off,” analyst Liz Dunn wrote in a note to clients. Dunn said she was concerned that the quality has slipped a bit due to changes in the sourcing operations but expects the company to maintain its quality at the expense of margins.”

Thanks to reader Rose for sending me these images of the Let It Loose Tank in Pink Mist, Pink Mist Space Dye and Toothpaste. I’m really liking the Pink Mist/Pink Mist Space Dye one but not sure if it will be flattering to my figure since the No Limit Tank didn’t work out for me. I like that there are gathers right at the bust line as well as a key hole cutout to create more interest to the front panel and draw the eyes up. The fact that the inner bra is Luxtreme and the outer layer is sheer luon makes this very appealing to me.
