Beyonce launched the Adidas x Ivy Park collection last week and it immediately sold out everywhere. I was surprised to see a few straggler pieces at Nordstrom yesterday so I decided to try them on for fun, despite being the wrong sizes. I love Adidas so this collection was much more intriguing to me than the regular Ivy Park line. Definitely more street style, and really cool. I would have been all over an Adidas x Ivy Park Track Jacket. There where a few pieces I might have purchased had I gotten to try them on, like the sweatshirt, the short sleeve tee in cream, and the Ultraboosts, but there was nothing available by the time I got to see the collection.
Because these are not my size, this won’t be a proper fit review. This is just a fun ‘show and tell’ post. The quality on all these items are very high, typical of Adidas designer collaborations. I love the colorways of maroon and cream with some bright orange pieces. I really love the edginess of the Convertible Track Jacket but needed to try on my size to really know if I would have liked it for me.
At first I really hated the seam details on the bike shorts. The lines around the legs really give an underwear/corset look, which is weird. On though, they looked pretty nice. I’d totally wear them in the maroon or in a black.
If you hate the Lululemon x Roksanda collection, guaranteed you will hate this collection as well.
