Guest Fit Review|Reform Jacket

by Cristina

Amazing reader ‘Mrs. O’ has shared with us some fit reviews with the help of her awesome husband taking photos for us. Huge thank you to the both of them!!

Mrs. O’s fit review:

Spacer fabric is growing on me; primarily because of the feel and structure.  I tried my TTS 4 and size 6 and the pockets still puckered a bit.  My TTS fit better around my waist.  The size 6 was too roomy in the arms and waist.  The length of this jacket is similar to the Define Jacket so I’m not sure why the tag says the bottom hem is curved to keep your bum covered.  Because of the ill fitting pockets, this jacket was a pass.

Thanks for the fit review. I've been curious about this jacket and the stores near me don't have it. I'm between sizes, so I didn't really want to order two and have to return one (or both). I think it looks good on you, and don't see any puckering, but maybe it's more obvious when you move.

I think I'll put it on my "maybe on WMTM" list. Thank you!

There is something odd happening with the pockets, like maybe they are too tall? Or the proportions are off? It's too bad. The olive color looks nice.

I saw it at the store,it's super soft, just like Embrace the space hoodie, which I love. I was thinking about getting the Bkue Tied one since I got Effortless jacket in olive.

I got it in the blue tied and liked it. I returned it because it strikes me as one of those under the radar items that gets lost in the random hoodiness and will end up on wmtm

The only jacket I have in the Spacer fabric is the Going Places jacket. I am not unhappy with it, but I find it too short in the front. This Re-form jacket wouldn't even cover my bum. I'm sick and tired of the supposedly warm jackets that hardly cover my waistline, so I'm not even going to consider this one on sale. One short Spacer jacket in my wardrobe is plenty.

I got every jacket in Spacer fabric that was made. I got Insculpt, City Bound hoodie and Embrace the space. The fabric is different though . City bound and insculpt jacket are more cottony while Embrace the space is very soft and wet suit like. I'm getting tons of wear out of all 3 of them. Spacer fabric is really good for thermoregulation. I don't think these jackets were meant for really cold weather or below 45 degrees. And I don't need my butt to be covered at that temperature . I'm also liking Re-form jacket, but feel like I already have 3 similar so I might get it if it hits wmtm

Tried this jacket on today and it was comical. It seriously looked like I was wearing a little kid's jacket, except that it was so wide you could have fit two of me in there. Definitely not a jacket for the tall. It ended at my belly button. (I'm 5'9" and tried the 6.)

Also, long sleeves with no thumbholes and no zippered pockets makes the jacket's functionality questionable.

It was too bad, because I like the overall style of it more than most of the jackets lately.
