It’s called a medium rise but looks like low rise to me.

I like this pant. I don't care so much about the rise, because if I were to get it, it would be for lounging around – not for running or spinning.
To me it looks like a medium rise. I would consider it low rise if the lowest part on the waistband was the height on the entire rise around.
I agree. It looks like a low rise to me. I hate that there are so many low rise pants and crops now. They keep falling when I'm running. And I don't like wearing them too tight. Despite what they say, I will can see a cameo toe when I size down.
