For those that like the little added detailing of the Potion Purple one that came out not long ago…
Looks like it comes in Savage, Angel Blue, Potion Purple and White for $42

Finally a picture of these on someone. I’ve been dying to see what these would look like with a body in them…I laugh to think of how this would look on me. I think stripes like that have got to be the most unflattering thing on someone with muscular thighs like me. Probably cute if your very petite and have very slim legs and you want to add a bit of volume for some curves but this is sooo not for my body type. Weird optical illusions.
Also, pictures that have not been rotated are so annoying. Sorry, I haven’t had the time to try and move this over into my photoshop and rotate it. Hopefully your looking at it on laptop and you can just turn your screen ;D
Wunder Under Crop – $68
Static Coal Static Wave Stripe/Coal

This is a size down for me to an 8. I found the v to be not too deep for me but for someone with more cleavage this may be too deep. It’s a wider v as well so it’s very flattering to the neck and chest area. In this picture I’m wearing it with a Faded Zap Flow Y so that you can see how much of it peeks through. If you pull the shirt down a bit you can see more of it but this is how I would naturally wear the shirt. I think this fits slightly roomier than the 5yr Pima because of the V neck so there is plenty of room in the shoulder and chest area and it’s about the same length I think. I also love that the sleeves are slightly longer and finished nicely with a wider band (seam I guess you would call it?) and it has a really nice contrasting stitch down the middle of the back. I got this in the Dark Grey (Heathered Charcoal) as well as the Oatmeal Color (LCSG). I was surprised that I liked the Oatmeal so much because this is such a tricky color for me to wear. If it’s too light it washes me out completely but this one was not only flattering to my skin tone but somehow was also more slimming than the Dark Grey one. These are made of Pima cotton and feel a little bit thicker and softer than the 5yr Pimas.
*Sizes 2-10. Hmm interesting…I just looked at the tag on this and it’s made in Peru. 92% Pima Cotton and 8% Lycra Spandex
And here is a picture from the Saskatoon page as well for a fit comparison

Flash Back Pullover. I love the way it looks but I only ever wear zip up hoodies so not sure I’ll get this.

Neet seaming on the back of the V neck. I think ill be picking this up today…

These are the Colors that the V necks come in. I really like the Dark Grey and the Oatmeal One.

This has been posted to the San Fran FB site (and Ontario mentioned it) and I’m hoping this comes to Vancouver as well. I’d love to have this in Wish Blue and maybe a Pig Pink one too. I’ve always loved the 5yr Pima but I just wish it had a bit more of a scoop neck or came in a V neck. I like my t-shirts to be more feminine so that they can be dressed up or dressed down. With a crew neck (not quite a crew) it’s more sporty than anything. Still, I’m glad it’s lower than a crew neck and that it’s as long as it is because it’s really hard finding the perfect basic T that fits just right and the 5yr Pimas always do.
I’ll be watching the game , Spain vs. Netherlands (ok, just the football players ) and eating Paella and sipping Sangria today. I’ll get to my Lululemon reporting later today if there is anything new and intersting. For now, i’ll let you know about yesterdays Lululemon hunting trip.
I’ve been on the lookout now for the Do it All shorts or the Seek the Peek shorts for the last 3 or so weeks as it’s gotten very hot in these parts. I had the chance to buy the Do it All shorts and decided I wouldn’t need them and I would just make do with crops. Ha, that’s always the way isn’t it. Now that I decide I need them and am willing to pay $68 for a pair of shorts there gone, save for the Potion Purple Seek the Peek which I would never wear. I went to two Lululemons yesterday and squeezed myself into a size 8 and decided that it was a no go. Frustrated I tried on the Flashback Shorts ($19!) which I would have loved if they were just a little longer -say, mid thigh. too short for me anyways. Tried on the tracker shorts and they looked odd on me and were a tidge too short. The Knock out shorts did weird things to my legs because they seemed to flare out quite a bit on me for some reason, maybe they were small. And then I tried on the Still Short in Static Charcoal. I LOVED Them! perfect length for fuller thighs, nice pockets and LOVED the static charcoal material. Very cool for hot weather. I got the 10 but I think the 8 would have worked fine in these because there pretty loose. The Static charcoal looks great with Pig Pink so I plan on wearing them today with my Pig Pink IJWR tank for World Cup celebrations. I think I even like these more than the Do it All shorts and I’m not sure why I hadn’t ever tried these on before. Maybe because I have the Still Pants (used for C-Section recovery) and I was worried they would look like just cutoffs of those pants and because the waist is so high it would look odd. The high waist in these eliminates any muffin top but if you don’t like it high you can fold it down.

This IJWR tank looks like she went about 2 sizes smaller and it looks good that way on her. It’s funny how this top can have a totally different look TTS or sized down, cinched up or all the way down. I sized down on this one size (10) and it’s still pretty loose and baggy so I probably could have gone down to an 8 but for running purposes the baggier fit is nice.
It’s funny, whenever I take advice from the educators (Lulu and other stores) I end up coming back and returning the item for the size I originally thought looked best whether it be a size up or a size down. I think I’m just always in between 2 sizes so it depends on my mood. When I got my Stride II in Seattle in a size 10 the educator was adamant that this was the right size. I later tried it on for my hubby and he thought it was way too baggy. went to another Lulu and tried on the 8 and hubby and an educator both thought the 8 was the right size. It’s so subjective that I think I just have to go with my gut.

Look at how cute these colors go together. I would never have been brave enough to try it and am constantly worried about looking like rainbow bright but Citron and Wish is so nice together. Also note how loosely the tank looks around the middle. This tank is for skinny-minnies as well as the not so skinny around the middle.
