Close up of Mindful Shorts

by Cristina July 16, 2010

This picture shows the waist bent over which is a lot nicer than pulled all the way up. I wonder if these have the extra loops holes like the Still pants so that you can fold these all the way down and still have the tie on the outside. I’m not hating these pants. There not for me, but if I saw you wearing them on the street I’d probably think “hey, cute shorts, those are different.

Polocross Pant & Ride on Crop

by Cristina July 16, 2010
written by Cristina

These Polocross pants remind me a lot of the Ride on Crops I saw at the Lulu Lab. I liked the Lab ones better which I saw without the calf zipper. I think I just don’t like the two tone in the Polocross ones and the very wide tummy panel. I wonder how many stores are getting the Polocross pants and if they will be coming to Canada.

Close Up of Mindful Shorts

These are made of Luon and have pockets. The pleats really give these a very wide leg so there nice and cool. I definitely like these ones better than the tencil ones which I think had a liner short underneath and were much less forgiving in fit. It also looks like these are a bit longer.  With a longer shirt covering the high waist band I might wear these, although  the height of the waistband doesn’t bother me at all, it’s just not something I would want to highlight.

Striped Wunders and Strides

by Cristina July 16, 2010
written by Cristina

WOw, that’s some crazy optical illusion happening with those stripes on the bottom picture. I love the Stride with nice bright colors under it  but that is just too much stripe all in one outfit. The top picture is the nicest one i’ve seen of those pants so far, too bad you don’t see the whole outfit. The Wunders are probably very nice on and cute with a black t-shirt or the Black Flashback Pullover. On an unrelated note, check out the ring she’s wearing. I happen to have that same one. Tiffany’s  Frank Gerry collection. Hmmm, I forgot I had that as I got it pre first pregnancy and my fingers swelled right out of it so I put it away. I think I’ll be pulling that out of exile soon.

Robson Lululemon

by Cristina July 16, 2010
written by Cristina

Man I wish I didn’t have errands to run downtown today. I ended up taking a stroll down to the Robson Lululemon with the intention of ONLY buying the new socks I posted about bellow. Well, while I’m there I may as well just try on the Flashback Pullover. “Common, just try it!”  the voice in my head said, “You’ll hate it on anyways”.  Well I did not hate it. And the Wunder Grooves in Wish Blue. Loved them on me.

So Fell in love with all three things. Got the Flashback Pullover even though I wont be wearing it till the fall. Found those cute socks and got those….fell in love with the Wunder’s in Wish which is something I would never normally wear but I loved it so much on the Oakridge Facebook album with the Flashback Pullover and the Modern V Neck. Alas Robson only had the size 8 Wunders which gave me kamel toe so when I got home just a few minutes ago I called GEC. Nope, all sold out. Just size 8 left on the website which I’m having a really hard time not buying. I’m losing weight right? I’m so close to fitting these perfectly…should I get a pair of crops that may fit in September? How long will I get to wear them if I get these? What if I’m always left longing for these Wish Blue Wunder Grooves???

I still remember a tank I saw at Guess 10 years ago when I could wear itty-bitty clubby clothes. It was peach and it had the picture of a big juicy peach on it with the words Georgia Peach, cute as a button summer tank. I didn’t get it and I still think about that top. WOuld I still be wearing it today if I got it? Nope…but I still think about it.

*Update: I purchased the Wunder Grooves online in Wish/Black reversible. Maybe I’ll end up returning them but for now my heart rate has slowed down a bit. I love that hit of color with all the neutrals.
Light Up Skirt&utm_source=productnotification&utm_medium=email&utm_content=womenproduct&utm_campaign=

Oh, before I forget. Robson had this Light Up Skirt that I had reported last week. I didn’t pick it up or try on but from a distance it looked to be longer than other skirts. It has a chamois in it and comes in sizes 4-10.  I’ve also heard reports that there are Black and White long sleeve Pima T’s available.

Thursday Upload: Lots of Grey!

by Cristina July 15, 2010
written by Cristina

So this was kind of a boring upload. As much as I like the greys I still need the hits of color mixed in the bunch. I picked up the Light Grey Modern V Neck but I may exchange that one or sell it. After I picked it up I went back to check on a Flow Y in Pig Pink to wear under it but realized that everything was grey. non of the Wish/Pig/Citron things that have been in stores the last two weeks have been uploaded.

Some of the things I was hoping to see (not necessarily get) was all of the new Stride II’s, Flow y’s, A Wish IJWR restock and a restock of my size in the Wish Wunder Groove Crops. And of course the Flashback pullover that I keep eyeing and totally don’t need.

fall 2010 sneak peek! from lululemon athletica on Vimeo.

I’m loving the Run Luon pullover with reflectivity, Fall is when you really need that feature! Isn’t the color great? looks like Lolo and perhaps thats a Denim like blue one in the background.  And I knew I had heard that they were coming up with reflective fabrics, so glad.

New Feather Weight Socks -Yippee!

by Cristina July 15, 2010
written by Cristina

These are sooo cute!!! I can’t wait to get these and am so glad they come in a three pack.  I’m a bit surprised at the colors because non of these match anything that’s out right now (Senorita Pink, Lolo Purple and Citron is what the product notice called these but that’s not what they look like) so far at least. But I love them anyways and I never match my socks to my outfits. In fact, the socks I wear most often for running are my Savage Green and White Stripe ones that match nothing I have. But they make me run faster so I try to make sure there clean by my next run.

Ok so are these new or old then??? I hate getting wrong product notifications. Do you remember seeing these last spring in these prints and in a three pack? Confirmation that these have been seen in stores. Hooray!

Inner Strength Tank – Adjustable Bra Detail

by Cristina July 15, 2010
written by Cristina

I haven’t tried this tank on because I wouldn’t use it for running and for street wear it just doesn’t appeal to me. I’ve wondered about the adjustable bra band in it though and just found this picture of it. My very first impression is that it looks like it would be really uncomfortable and dig in with that metal clasp right against the ribs. Have you tried this on or own one and care to share your opinion of this clasp?
So far the verdict is that this is a really comfortable tank and the clasp does not dig in.

I wonder what makes Lulu choose which tanks to bring back in new colors. So far we’ve seen the Hip Halter come back this season as well as this Inner Strength Tank and the Push Your Limits Tank. I wonder if it’s random or if they have colors selected and then look for old styles that would suit the new palette combination. Or maybe they just notice a trend in what sports people are involved in and find a tank to suit that particular need.
