This week, as I mentioned here has been a total nightmare and I’ve had the worst time getting out for a run. Mostly because I’ve been paranoid about feeling this cold coming on (still hasn’t come on) and I’ve been over tired and not at all motivated after caring for a sick toddler and a teething/growthspurting 6 month old. I actually haven’t even left the house to go Lulu browsing (ok shopping) which goes to show how blah I’ve been. I’ve also eaten horribly all week as a comfort for my troubles and have put in zero effort into dinner. What I’ve needed the most to make myself feel better is a run and that was the first thing on my list that got neglected. Finally today I got out for a run (last one was Sunday!!!) and expected to only be out for 30 minutes. Well, I had a terrific run and was out for 60 minutes just enjoying the time away and the space to have 60 minutes of stream of consciousness uninterrupted thinking. Man, I now feel tired as before, and my back is still achy but my mind is feeling like a million bucks right now. I wore my lovely Run: Spirit Pullover out for a run finally and although it was too warm for it, it made me feel fast. I highly recommend running (or your workout of preference) to all moms. It’s just the best way to feel better after a really tough day of giving, giving, giving. My new rule is that even if I’m feeling ick I need to go out and run. I don’t have to put the full time in but I do need to have my 4 days (at least) of getting out there. 10 minutes or 60 minutes doesn’t matter as long as I get out and just run.
Flow & Go Tank, Run Reflection Pullover and Personal Best SS Pictures
The Flow and Go Tank in Black and White. I think despite the little glitches with this tank (complicated to put on and slightly tight at the neck strap) this tank is a hit. Very flattering and cute on.

Run: Reflection Pullover in Black. This Black one is on my radar. The price is nice at $88 and will be even nicer if it goes to loot.

Personal Best SS. I have this one in Senorita Pink and I’m really glad I exchanged my lolo one for the Senorita Pink because after I wore it around for a while I found I really liked the bright flirty-ness of it. The Lolo is so pretty in this as well but I have too much Lolo purple (Stride, Modern, Static CRB and Swiftly). I made sure to get different fabrics of Lolo as they all look very, very different from each other but I still needed something to go with Lolo.

Well that was a pretty small upload. I’m relieved about that because I didn’t want to need anything today. I do really like the new Mindful Tank a lot from the front but I’m not loving the straps in the back so much, I don’t think the back straps are a deal breaker though. I’ll likely wait on the tank for when I feel I need one but I run almost totally outdoors and when I run on the treadmill at home I don’t ‘dress up’. In fact, I have run in my pj’s before ;p yes I know, not moisture wicking. I throw caution to the wind sometimes and just run.
Mystery Mindful Tank that looks like a combo of Push Your Limits and the Fuoette Tank. I really like the look of it. Shoot, I don’t need a tank right now.

Cute SE Scuba Hoodie. I really like this black one with River Rock hood
And the Escapade Jacket. Still liking the solids Black and Coal the best.
So my predictions for tomorrows upload are of course the Escapade Jackets, The SE Scuba Hoodies with cable knit detailing, the new bras (Alignment, Boobs on a Wire) and the Tadasana Jacket and the Flow and Go Tank. I think we may see some surprise introductions of items not yet seen in stores and perhaps new colors which would be nice or some special release item like a few Gratitude Wrap or new Wear With All Hoodie. These are just guesses of course. I’m almost hoping for a disappointing upload tomorrow so I can save my pennies for a resale Ivory Huff ‘N Puff Vest. If I did purchase something tomorrow it would be a Peace Of Mind Vest in a new color like Daze, socks in cute colors/prints or small accessories, Swiftly LS in a new color like Ivy. I think that’s all I would bite at. What do you think we’ll see tomorrow and are hoping to buy?
Pictures of the Coal Escapade Jacket
I’ve learned from a reader that the logo is very subtle and blends in with the jacket so black on the black jacket (like the lab) and Coal on the Coal jacket. That is really cool because some items I like to see a logo like on the scubas/remixes and some items like winter jackets I prefer not to see the logo.

A new Lab item that has piqued my interest yet again. A scoop neck long sleeve tech top ($64) that looks like it’s made of circle mesh which I love for layering. I only wish the lab would branch out with the colors a bit because I would run out today for this in a pretty color. Any color really other than white and black. I get though that the lab doesn’t follow the pallet trend that the conventional store does and they need to keep things low production. Oh well.

So it’s been a bit of a nightmare around my house this past week as I have a toddler with a really bad cold and a 6 month old teething and it’s kept me up for the past three nights. I’ve gotten about 2 hours of sleep each night which tends to make you a little edgy. So today I’m focusing on the positive. Which is my husbands ever so unhelpful advice. But I’m grasping at straws so I’m using his advice today.
Here are my positives today.
1: Starbucks and Shoppers Drug mart are a 3 minute walk from my house. Just grabbed a coffee and a really fun and very necessary purchase at Shoppers. Runners World Magazine (this issue is mom focused!), Infant Advil and a cosmetics purchase for me. I got this complexion enhancing stick called Flight Stick from DuWop which has caffeine and hyaluronic acid to pick up dull and tired skin. Cool. I need that. not a sponsored post by the way, just sharing…wait, the Amazon thing at the bottom is a pay per click I think -not sure though. They also have a few other items that I’ve been wanting for a long time now but it’s hard finding DuWop. This Shoppers just opened up last week so they are carrying a lot of new brands that have a lot of buzz. The other Duwop products I’ve been eyeing are the Private Red Lipstick that changes tones depending on your ph so that it’s your perfect match. A self tanner with a blue ting to take away the orangey look (too late for self tanners) and reverse lip liner (clear, keeps your lipstick from feathering out).

2. I got my Spirit Pullover today and I love it!!! perfect condition and really cozy and pretty. I love scoring great retro lulu finds. FYI, in case you haven’t read my request on FB I’m on the lookout for a Huff ‘N Puff Vest in Ivory size 8/10 and would be ever so grateful to be able to purchase one. Keep your eyes pealed for me ladies.
3. Good TV is back. I’ve been watching Mad Men (hello hunky men), Parenthood and a lot of other favourites. My PVR is currently loaded with good TV. I’m a TV junkie. As well as a Lululemon junkie. And nail polish and books/magazines.
4. Picked up a great book the other day, Freedom, which I started reading yesterday and I’m hooked after the first page. I love a book that starts off really great and family epics are my favourite. Now I have to find a way to read more than a paragraph each night. One of my top favourite books are Middlesex and One Hundred Years of Solitude. If you like the family epic novels these are the best reads ever.
PS. I’m sure there will be more Lulu posts after this. Please excuse my mad ramblings in the meantime.
