Lululemon Lab on Gratitude Wrap

by Cristina September 22, 2010
written by Cristina

This was posted on the Lulu Lab FB page in answer to a question about the Gratitude Wrap and having one hemmed. The person remarked about how much she loves her Gratitude Wrap and wishes they would come out with more.

lululemon lab Hi Nancy, unfortunately we don’t offer alteration services at the lab, but keep you eye out for new wraps coming out in the store’s for winter! I think you’ll be happy to see what shows up on both the lab and the store’s shelves! ♥ oli

And a picture to tease you all ;p

Escapade Jacket

by Cristina September 22, 2010
written by Cristina

Finally a picture. I really like the look of this jacket and can’t wait to see it in person. I guess the Magic Mani print is somewhere on the back. This jacket also comes in all coal or all black.
And a close up of the actual jacket hood faux fur feature. Looks really cozy and soft. I wish the entire inside of the jacket (or the inside of my Audrey Jacket) had this lining.

Reflective Stitching on New Groove Pants

by Cristina September 21, 2010
written by Cristina

Now why can’t they use this pretty reflective stitching pattern in the running line. Wouldn’t this be a cute detail along the back of a Swiftly or around the waist of Inspire Crops.

Yippee! A Run: Energy SS in either Ivy or Amazon. I don’t mind the writing on these at all but I know some of you really hate it.

More Flow and Go and Alignment Pant Pictures.

Despite the complicated straps in the back and the difficulty in getting this tank on right I quite like it. I like it a lot more than I like the No Limits Tank which has a similar design.  The straps at the front of this tank is the same as the Free to Be Bra.

And the Alignment Pants. Cute, I have to try these on before I decide how I feel about the larger pockets on my thighs.

New Scuba Hoodie + CRB’s + More Pics

by Cristina September 20, 2010
written by Cristina

Charcoal and Black SE Scuba Hoodies with the cable knit arms. I quite like mine (pictured bellow in the pink) and so far the cable knit has stood up pretty well. I am a bit disappointed that there is no SE label on the inside. Not that I care about the label so much as the fact that I paid extra for this hoodie ($128) and if I ever want to sell there is nothing indicating that this is different from other Scuba hoodies. Maybe that’s the point though and it helps prevent it from getting marked up 300% on ebay, in which case I understand completely and appreciate the effort to quash gougers.

I didn’t see this one in store which is the one I got a few weeks ago in the Thursday Upload.

And finally some new Cool Racerback colors. Power Purple, Senorita Pink, Lolo, and River Rock

Inspire Jacket in Senorita Pink -Adorable! Too bad about the fit issues.

Personal Best SS. Love this top, very flattering on every-body.

Ultra Pants. I’m very intrigued by these for running but I’m a tights kinda gal so not sure how I would like these for running. And, have any of you tried those Vibram shoes for running yet? is it a gimmick or do you like them?

Escapade Jacket

by Cristina September 20, 2010
written by Cristina

I like the look of this jacket, it’s pretty much a sportier version of the Everyday Yoga Jacket and the Audrey Jacket and it costs $228 and has a fur lined (faux?) hood. It’s made of the same Softshell outside with the inner fleece lining just like the Audrey except with an added hood lined with faux fur. This is nice if you prefer having a hood (fur lined is a nice detail) and a shorter length jacket. Options for everyone!

Comes in Black, Coal and something called Magic-Mani wonder what that one is. It’s a manifesto print. Maybe it’s like toddler jackets that have an appearing print when it gets wet with rain -hence, Magic Mani ;p

*Here is a picture of Magic Mani print from last year. This years print is a purple background (periwinkle like) with coal details. Sounds gorgeous.

Lululemon Escapade Jacket

  • Tackle your cold weather escapades with attitude and style!
  • Softshell fabric has 2-way stretch and protects from wind and rain, keeping you warm and dry
  • Soft inner fleece for warmth
  • Hood with double cinchers – cinch in to block the elements or cinch back so you can see!
  • Cuffins to keep hands warm and thumbholes to keep sleeves down
  • Reinforced rain brim
  • DO NOT DRY CLEAN!

Tadasana Jacket

by Cristina September 20, 2010
written by Cristina

This is a cross between the Get It Started (mesh back) and a Stride (length). I tried on the size 8 and I think I could have gone down one and possibly two sizes. This is a very relaxed fitting long jacket. The back mesh venting details aren’t as soft and silky as the Get it Started Jacket. I also noticed the pocket placement is such that you wouldn’t get the unfortunate fraying with seams meeting zipper that the current Strides are having. Although I think the issue with the stride is more to do with incorrect thread used for the fabric tension than just the pocket placement alone.  The price for the Tadasana Jacket is $108. $108.

Run: Inspire Jacket In Senorita Pink

by Cristina September 20, 2010
written by Cristina

Finally a picture of the Senorita Pink Inspire Jacket. I saw this today in person and it is by far my favourite one. I think most people that have purchased this jacket have sized up one for ease of movement (for running) and the ability to layer underneath. This particular lady got hers true to size as she doesn’t plan on layering much underneath but she did note that it’s a bit tight in the armpit area when she moves around a bit. I found my true to size tight in the armpit and upper arms.

Every Day Yoga Jacket – Ivy & Shark

by Cristina September 18, 2010
written by Cristina

I’m drooling over the Ivy color even though this jacket length is not for me. I’ve seen a few people around town wearing this jacket and I like it best when the waist is cinched in. The Every Day Yoga jacket and the Audrey jacket are both perfect for the weather & lifestyle here in Vancouver along with Hunter Wellies as mentioned on this Vancouver blog I follow Mama in The City. I laughed when I read this post because it’s really the quintessential Vancouver outfit for the next 7 months. On another note, I finally found my nail polish Sew Psyched on West 4th this morning which matches beautifully to the color Ivy.
