More Sneak Peeks: Run Catch Me Tank in Flare/Tonka Stripe, Flare Pacesetter Skirt

by Cristina August 30, 2012
written by Cristina

A couple of sneak peeks popped up tonight. The first one is of the Run: Catch Me Tank in Cashew Tonka Stripe/Flare which I saw on a CTV Edmonton News Segment (here). The second one is of the Pacesetter Skirt currently in Australian stores in Flare/Cashew Tonka Stripe. There is a rumor floating around that there will be a product drop in stores tomorrow due to the Monday Labour Day holiday. I’m not sure though, it could be major markdowns due to seasonal changeover and the huge amount of inventory stores currently have (something to do with Q2 looming close?). I’d be surprised though if stores are getting any items we haven’t already seen in the upload or on the sneak peeks I’ve posted here (rain jacket, pigment tonka striped and current Run: Chase Me Tanks, bonded Angel Blue and Split Pea CRB’s etc, Down Town Puffy Jacket, the Bordeaux Drama Studio Crops my store never got). For the past year items have debuted (doesn’t that word sound funny?) online first before stores with the exception of two or three US stores that get items on the Friday. Nothing for me tomorrow unless there is a bordeaux drama CRB (preferably tonka striped) or a tonka striped pigment blue CRB. I’m otherwise still enjoying my most favorite purchase in a long time – Angel Blue Define Jacket.

Spotted in Lululemon: Katy Perry

by Cristina August 29, 2012
written by Cristina

Katy Perry was styled in Lululemon for her recent Pop Chips (love them!!!) ad campaign. She’s wearing the Seaside Dot Print Inner Heart Bra. Did any of you see the Katy Perry movie, ‘Part of Me’ recently? My sister and I saw it last month when we were on a girls shopping trip to Seattle. Lots of fun! Definitely a girls night type of movie complete with Margaritas and 3D Glasses (Magic Mike was sold out).

Sneak Peek From Down Unda: Run: Catch Me Tank, Light Flare Pacesetter Skirt and Bonded Seam CRB’s (boo!)

by Cristina August 29, 2012
written by Cristina

This product alert from Australia just came in with a picture of the upcoming Run: Catch Me Tank in Pigment Blue Tonka Stripe, the Flare Pacesetter Skirt and some dark coal turbo shorts with flare contrast. Lastly, last night an Australian reader mentioned spotting new Angel Blue and Split Pea Cool Racerbacks in her store and they had the black bonded seams (shown here). I’m really left scratching my head at the product releases this month. Two different runs of Angel Blue and Split Pea CRB’s? and the incongruent color pallet we’ve had this month? It seems like they have doubled the amount of product drops this month, there is just so much ‘stuff’ out compared to what product drops are usually like. The regular product assortment in Bordeaux Drama, Split Pea and Angel Blue, then the TWO capsules for commuter cycling and hot yoga (105F and Hot Spell line), pigment blue and milky way print, outerwear, bags and accessories….crazy town! I’m hoping this all equals a sizable product drop to the outlet and ‘We Made Too Much’ sometime soon – I have a quite a few items on my ‘WMTM Watch List’ for the first time in a long time.

Spotted in Lululemon: Cameron Diaz

by Cristina August 29, 2012

Cameron Diaz spotted wearing lululemon Run: Inspire Crops in black. Possibly wearing a Currant Cool Racerback underneath her tee. She always looks so great in lulu. I still remember her Power Purple Cool Racerback Tank (Cameron Diaz In Head To Toe Lululemon). I think that was the start of my love for Power Purple.

The Latest: Angel Blue Define, Hot Spell Bra, 105F Singlet and More

by Cristina August 28, 2012
written by Cristina

I ripped the tags off my Define today and wore it all day and it is seriously one of my top 5 all time favorite lululemon purchases ever. I wore it today with my Angel Blue Cool Racerback Tank under my Joe Fresh Burnout Tee (my $12 version of the Perfect Layer Tee) and was seriously cozy all day. I gravitate to my cotton hoodies more so than my luon jackets for the cozy factor, but not the case with this one. This is way more cozy than any hoodie.

sized up Define Jacket. My usual size in Cool Racerbacks and Jackets is size 10, the Define is size 12

Love these pictures of the Heathered Angel Blue Define Jacket paired with Split Pea Down Town Vest. I tried on the vest today and found it TTS and flattering on for a vest (usually they don’t flatter me), although to wear it over something thick like a scuba I would have sized up one. The TTS was perfect for over my Define Jacket though and probably a thin hoodie like the Carry and Go. As flattering as this vest fits though, it’s got no hood, no zippered pockets and it’s not reversible so I just can’t get down with paying $10 more (and more than that for earlier models like the Peace of Mind Vest) for fewer features. It feels less stuffed than my Peace Of Mind Vest with a lower profile. They didn’t have the Pigment Blue in but the Split Pea was surprisingly nice in person and seeing it on I’d probably opt for that one or Neutral Blush for a neutral.

105F Singlet

Didn’t try this on today unfortunately but I did try on the last Bordeaux Drama Tonka Stripe Turbo Tank and it made me feel like I really want a Tonka Stripe Bordeaux Drama CRB. I really liked the color, especially with that print.

Layered over the Hot Spell Bra.

 Business in the front…

 dom party in the back

The 105F bra actually looks really sexy with the double neckline, corseted look. Boy Fifty Shades of Grey sure inspired a lot of fashion this year. I really love how it looks in the solid color though without the contrasting. The Angel Blue/Black version doesn’t look as nice to me. Worn with the 105 F Crops in Milky Way Multi Print.

Calm Short Sleeve Tee

4 color releases in this tee at once? wow! I’d love to see more variety of tee silhouettes in fewer color runs instead of this one style in 4 and the perfect layer tee in 6-7 patterns and colors.

Hot Spell Tank with 105F Crops.

I kind of love the combo of Bordeaux Drama and Pretty Pink in these pictures. I’m considering these crops in Bordeaux Drama for Crossfit but not sure how many tanks I can pair it with.

I’m not a big fan of the Milky Way Multi Print  but it seems to be a pretty popular one so I think a lot of you will be excited to see this Scuba in the print.

Since it’s almost the start of a new month, the website banners got reloaded with some sneak peeks. I’m a bit sad that it features so much pigment blue and no Bordeaux Drama.

A fitted run vest with a run pullover underneath

Pigment Blue Run Jacket

My store had headbands today in this pigment/tonka stripe. Super pretty!

Color Comparison: Plum and Bordeaux Drama

by Cristina August 28, 2012
written by Cristina

Thanks to Ms. Q for providing a color comparison of Plum Wunder Unders and Bordeaux Drama Wunder Unders. According to Ms. Q, plum is more purple while Bordeaux is a deeper red. Of the two I gravitate more to Bordeaux Drama.
