Finally! I was looking forward to seeing real life photos of the Down Town Vest but it seems that stores didn’t receive them after the upload until now. I like the simplicity of the design of this one, especially compared to last years down vest (what was it called?) which was a bit of a mess for most people with the crazy quilting, diagonal closure, belt and the fact that you had to size up substantially for it to fit. I’m not pleased about certain features lacking in this one though (zipper pockets, reversibility) Those were priced quite highly as well at $168 and ended up marked down in all colors so perhaps we will see the same here, although this design is more widely appealing so maybe not. Come to think of it, I think every years down vests eventually got marked down even with the popular designs and colors. If you’re not in desperate need of one, perhaps wait and see a bit? I’m actually interested in searching out the Turn Around Vest from last years cycling line which was a really low profile puffy vest – that one was a bargain at 650-fill for $128 (Bargain compared with the Down Town vest priced at $168).
Nothing for me today in We Made Too Much but I do recommend the Transformation Wrap in Dune if you don’t already have it and where considering it. I quite love this sweater in this color and find Dune a very versatile neutral. I’m a size 10 and occasional 8 but I went for the 8 in this and it’s plenty roomy for me, the lapels overlap nicely when I pull the jacket closed and tie the cinch cords. The markdown price is more than a few dollars too which is surprising.

This is my sicky OOTD. Still sick, still feeling like poop and really missing crossfit. My Tea Lounge Crops with Angel Blue CRB and my Joe Fresh Burn Out Tee (love it!! $12!!!!!). I feel I look pretty put together today for someone with a serious head and chest cold when I actually feel like going grocery shopping in my flannel pajama bottoms and gross slippers.
Tried these Carry and Go Crops on today and liked them in the size down with the hems folded up. The waist can either sit really high for a super high rise, or you can wear it as intended with saggy crotch. I was able to pass on these though since I like my Tea Lounge Crops better.
Feeling infatuated with Angel Blue lately and if the Turbo Tank in this color is available next month I may get it.
Love the shape of the Keep on Running Duffel. Its been the only bag shape that I’ve really liked since the Bon Voyage Duffel came out. I need to start carrying my gym bags to crossfit since the only other time I get to use them is when I’m traveling which is kind of sucky.

Wanted to try these Wunder Unders on today but I didn’t see them in store. If they have the coverage of the older Wunder Unders (because they reverse to black it’s possible) then I’d consider getting these for Crossfit. Definitely would pass though if they are as sheer as the last several colors of Wunder Unders.
A few tempting items today but I’m behaving. The Down Town Vest was initially calling my name but for $168 I’d love it to be reversible and to have zippered pockets. Seems kind of basic compared to puffy vests from years past. My Daze Peace of Mind Vest was two colors, reversible, had pockets on both inside and outside and the outer pockets where zippered DWR and also at least $10 cheaper. Also, the inside had a different quilt pattern then the outside. Good. I’m talking myself off the ledge on this one. Also, how happy am I that the Angel Blue Define Jacket wasn’t uploaded and I didn’t have to struggle with that one? super happy about that.
