Oy vey. Today was a chipper workout and I was certain I wouldn’t finish it by the time caps thanks to going heavier on my weights, but somehow I did. I had to modify a few things such as the double unders (stupid double unders) and ring rows instead of pull ups because I use bands for pull ups and the gym was packed today so I prefer to leave the bars to the folks that don’t use bands. I find ring rows and banded pull ups equally challenging anyways, especially if you alter your position under the rings. Everything else I did RX’d weight which was nice and rewarding. Rewarding with a pulsing migraine headache and a feeling of wanting to puke after. I’m recovering right now with a starbucks latte and tears of relief that it’s over.

Today’s outfit included the Inkwell 105F Singlet. I ripped the tags off this morning and it’s my new favourite.
This outfit was from Friday but I forgot to write a post about my workout then. Its the Heathered Coal Cool Racerback. I’m wearing my Inner Heart Bra underneath and I had a miserable time with it pinching my traps so this is the day I decided I needed to break up with it. If you want it (size 10, Bruised Berry) I have it listed for sale.
Yay! I went to the US today primarily to look for soccer stuff for my daughter and also to pick up my upload Monday items from the US upload. Since we were already going to the US today I opted to order two items from the US side that I was coveting and that Canada has not gotten yet. The Inkwell 105F singlet is super pretty and very neutral. I love a good neutral that doesn’t give me the head to toe black luon ninja look. The Bumble Berry Cool Racerback is very pretty and soft and opaque, although on the thin side. My only complaint on it is that it doesn’t have the reversible variegated stitching on the inside that make CRB’s seem just a little more fancy. Other than that I really like it.

I’m still considering the Plush Petal Scuba so I tried it on with the Bumble Berry CRB and it looks super pretty paired together. Still thinking on it though as I am not a scuba person.
The inside hood script print. I’m pretty sure this is the manifesto written out over and over again. I hate the manifesto so I’m glad its not obvious and you really have to try hard to read what is written. The hood lining is my favourite part though.
So a strange thing happened today. I’m not normally a Scuba Hoodie fan because I find them way too hot and since it rains most of the winter here it doesn’t make much sense as outerwear. I went to return my Om & Roam Untight Tights and I spotted this scuba and became kind of infatuated with it. I’m not sure why. Up close the plush petal print is nothing remarkable but something about the hood lining script print in combination with the plush petal drew me in. This isn’t a terribly flattering picture but I swear, in store it seemed like a really flattering print. I’ll need to take a sober second look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes. Also, I figured I may get more use out of scubas this years since I’m a now officially a ‘soccer mom’ that will be standing out in the elements twice a week.
