Alberta Lake Align Crops, Outrun Long Sleeve
I really like the Alberta Lake Align Crops over the Nocturnal Teal Align Pants that Canada got. In the Pace Rivals and Fast And Free 7/8 Tight I prefer the more neutral Nocturnal Teal. Bummer that Canada didn’t get the Alberta Lake crops.
I went to Lululemon today with my friend because she wanted to check out the new items and get my opinion on a few things, and she ended up purchasing the Outrun Long Sleeve. I really liked it on her a lot and she’d sized up in it so it was a looser fit. I tried on the LS in my size up as well and actually preferred it to yesterdays fit review in my TTS. I didn’t buy it today but I’m really tempted to go back later in the week to pick one up. I need to make a few return decisions before I do. Or I should wait till markdown. $108 is rather pricey for a RULU long sleeve. Another thing of note is that the Nocturnal Teal Fast And Free Tights where almost all gone. I wonder if they had a lot of phone orders after the upload since the teal didn’t get uploaded.
Run For Cold Vest, Free Runner Crop
I know I may be annoying with my promoting the Ebates but I’ve saved a good $40 over the past couple of weeks between lululemon uploads, my recent Nike shoe purchase, an eBay purchase so I’m a little excited about it. It would have been more savings but once I forgot to use my ebates link for an eBay purchase and yesterday I used the app to buy a lululemon pop back and I didn’t know there was also an ebates app for my phone like the plug in I use for my computer browser. I’m even more excited about using the ebates for the Sephora VIB Rouge sale that is coming up this Friday November 4th -7th (or November 11- 14th if you are not a Rouge member) and upcoming black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. My goal is to put the savings towards my Christmas shopping.
Anyways, the scoop on the EBATES + VIB Rouge and VIB sale is that if you sign up with my link here and spend $25 at Sephora (and receive your 20% off discount from Sephora) you will then also get a $10 welcome bonus from ebates!!! I just got an email from ebates letting me know that I should share this bonus with my readers. *You get this $10 welcome bonus when you spend $25 at any store through ebates. This is in addition to the percentage back you will get from ebates which I’m not sure what it’s going to be but I’m guessing it will be 8% back on top of the 20% discount you are already getting from Sephora.
**The Sephora ebates rate will be 4% for the VIB Rouge Sale
Here is my ebates link if you haven’t already signed up:
**I receive a commission with my ebates referrals. This commission is open to anybody that chooses to share ebates with friends and is not exclusive to bloggers. Please see the ebates site to learn about commissions**
This is what I got in the mail from Sephora for the VIB Rouge sale. You get a code to use online, and a card to use in store. Once the sale opens up to VIB members on the 11th, I think you just need to use your sephora card for access.
This is my sephora wish list that has accumulated over two years. Basically, I browse the site and add things that interest me or that I’m curious to try out, or if I try a sample of something and I like it I add the correct color to my wish list. My plan for this VIB sale is to buy my husbands cologne to take advantage of the sale price for him, stock up on my basics like foundation I love, a beauty blender sponge (love), hair product, and I may also do a bit of Christmas shopping. I noticed the other day that my favourite candles by Nest are up so those may make great Christmas presents, as do mini fragrances in purse spray size. I also want to get some of the $25 sets that show up for the sale and for Black Friday. My #1 pick for that is the Darphin set. I tried that skincare when I was in France and really loved it but it’s super pricey here so a $25 set is great.
Are you guys planning on getting anything for the VIB Rouge/VIB sale? If so, what’s on your wish list. What do you recommend?
I’ll be sure to post my final haul once I’ve ordered it on Friday morning. I will probably be staying up late on Thursday to place my order at midnight so I can have my post up for you early in the morning.
Run For Cold Pullover, Fast And Free 7/8 Tight, Baller Hat, Outrun Long Sleeve
I didn’t order any of the new upload items today but I did order a random pop back of the lucent tank that came up in only my size. I half suspect it was a glitch and not a pop back but I’ve had a lot of luck with random pop backs lately. First I got the Deep Sea Speed Wunder Tights on a pop back, then the Down For It Vest in black, and now this Lucent Tank. Unfortunately I caught it on my smart phone app so I didn’t get a chance to use my ebates discount. Boo to that!
**I’m seeing a lot of other things pop back on the website. Lots of summer crops, Restore Short Sleeve Tee, metallic lumatrix tights and many more items.
There where several items today that I liked. I’m really disappointed that the Nocturnal Teal Fast And Free 7/8 Tights didn’t upload. I’d made up my mind that I want them and now I have to go back to the store to get them. I also like the Outrun 1/2 Zip but since I ordered the tank I opted not to order this pullover. The Don’t Sweat It Kit is really appealing to me but I have two previous designs of toiletries bags and although I love them and find them highly functional, I don’t need a third. Not at full price at least. I continue to be annoyed and bothered by the Nocturnal Teal Cool Racerback II. I love the color, hate the tank. So close to what I want, yet so far. If I was flush with money I’d order the Fleece Please Joggers. I like the cut of them a lot and when I felt them in store today they where incredibly soft (yet very thin).
Did you guys order anything today? Have you had any pop backs luck over the past few months?

Run For Cold Pullover TTS 10
This years winter running outerwear is finally here and instead of down, it is primaloft with a more matte finish than last years fluff pullovers. The primaloft option will appeal to those of you that don’t wear down. There are three pieces to the Run For Cold collection, the pullover, jacket and vest. The color options are plum, black and white. I liked this pullover actually. I don’t think it’s as hardy as previous years down pullovers but it looks nice on and I like that the 1/2 zip zipper goes down a long way. I don’t like this new cotton fleece material they are using instead of RULU though, it seems a lot flimsier. They are calling it ‘four way stretch’ material which I think is hilarious. Way to be oblique.
The inside ‘soft’ panels is this brushed cottony fleece. I don’t care for this material as it’s rather thin and not very warm, although it is soft.
Back pocket is wide and short so I think you’d have to put your smart phone in on it’s side, or use this pocket for snacks.
Run For Cold Jacket TTS 10
The jacket is not bad, quite light weight but pretty plain. I didn’t dislike it but I also wasn’t wowed by it. The pullover has more design features and more visual interest.
Run For Cold Vest TTS 10
The vest was nice too but I like last years (and restocked this year) Down For A Run Vest. The quilting and the rulu sides make it a much more stylish option. I think the matte black of the glyde in these pieces will appeal to a lot of you though. This vest is comfortable and really light, and warm but not toasty.
You can see some of the perforated ‘ventilation’ holes in this Run For Cold line in this picture.
Outrun LS TTS 10
I liked this pullover a lot but mostly for the color. The rulu felt a bit stiff but once on it felt softer and more relaxed. I think this years rulu has less lycra and is only brushed on the inside with a smoother finish on the outside, so that change is throwing me off. I liked the little scalloped reflective detailing at the cuff. I’m going to wait for the Nocturnal Teal Swiftly Tech LS instead I think.
Nocturnal Teal Cool Racerback II comes in Nocturnal Teal and Plum
SO MAD. I wanted to want this Cool Racerback because I love this Nocturnal Teal color. It’s a CRB II though which I’ve kiboshed, and the price seems ridiculous. I’ve also found the last three CRB II’s I’ve tried on fit tighter than the first run of CRB II’s that where out in the summer. I also found this one sheer over my bust. I would have purchased this CRB in a heartbeat if it was the original version and original price, but instead I’m going to wait and see what other items we get in this color.
Outrun 1/2 Zip TTS 10
I really liked this pullover a lot and am considering ordering it tonight. The color is really pretty and much brighter than the LS I showed above. I like the looser fit and the softness of this jacquard material over the new version of rulu. An interesting thing I noticed is that the 1/2 zip zipper is curved. Are all 1/2 zips like that these days? I think it makes it much easier to pull the zipper up or down when you are one handed.
Ombre Wunder Under Pant TTS 10
I tried these on today and I was surprised that the Ombre lighter color actually goes up my entire calf. I’m short at 5’4 but I also have short legs so I didn’t expect to see enough of the ombre. I did. If I wear boots it’s completely covered but if I’m wearing my running shoes you would see plenty of it. These are on my ‘wait for markdown’ list.
Fast And Free Tight Nocturnal Teal – TTS 10
I really liked these a lot. I think this is the best version of Nulux tights that have been released so far. It’s as nice as the Like Nothing Tight, but it’s not missing the crotch seam which I feel is essential, and it has pockets on the side with reflective detailing at the cuff. This is a very functional tight for runners. I love the higher rise and the side seams. My only complaint about these is the raw hem at the ankles. This is not a ‘feature’ I look for in pants and it really causes me to hesitate on spending $138 plus tax. I want nicely finished for that price, not potential bagging out or unravelling. I’m going to think about it and may purchase these tonight since I’ve been really wanting to try out nulux for a workout.
I accidentally grabbed a size up in these but I tried them on anyways. Although these are nocturnal teal, because they are so matte they read more grey than the color does in other materials.
these are cute! I was tempted to get one but I don’t need a new makeup bag. I really like that it’s chevron quilted.
Ebates is back up to 8% today for Lululemon (last week was 4%), so if you order something online for tonights upload, don’t forget to use it!

Exclusive Sneak Peek: Featherlight Limited-Edtion Collection For Black Friday
Behold! The lululemon Black Friday special edition capsule being debut on November 25th is the Featherlight Limited Edition Janaina Milheiro Collaboration! Paris based textile designer Janaina Milheiro has worked with Chanel and Valentino in creating textures and patterns. I am very interested in collaborations like these with luxury brands and have recently been very interested in the Nike/Olivier Rousteing (of Balmain) collaboration. I will definitely be picking something up from this collection. Some of this collection will be made of NULUX.
