Dispatch from The Liminal Space | New At Lululemon Cute Work From Home Gear

The Upload! New At Lululemon Cute Work From Home Gear!

I have definitely been living in sweats and leggings. How many of you working from home are getting properly dressed as if you were going into work? My husband has been waking up at 5 am to work and actually showers and dresses for his commute down the hall. Although he is mostly just wearing sweats. We have a post coming for you soon about working from home for professionals, and for couples both working from home. He’s been working from home 50% of the time for a year now (due to very intense work travel) so we have lots of tips to share.

PS. Leaning into these Gen X Olympics (we need to rebrand this pandemic to Gen X Olympics) and my background music playing in my home office is Green Day. That was my favorite concert in the ’90s and I think it only cost $30. What concerts did you go to in your teens?

I have to say that I am completely confused with the blazer. It’s not a blazer that I can wear to a professional work setting. I feel that if they were to make a blazer, they should make ones like the power date blazer from a few years back.

I agree. It’s really more of a collarless cropped trench that storm shield.

Wow nothing for me. I haven’t been buying much lately and not at full price. I may break and get the mist over jacket from last week since I wear my red one often. This collection is not exciting for me.
Love the blog. Thanks for all that you do.

I had a bigger purchase last week but other than that it’s been pretty slim pickings.

I like the reddish engineered print in the aligns. I may get those! I love the print on the pivot top, but I’d never wear the cropped length on its own. Maybe if it hits WMTM on a nice markdown, I’d get it for underneath one of the tops I have with a mesh back. I’m interested in the flounce skirt, but the length could be strange. It seems like it should’ve been either a few inches higher or lower to work? Knee-length can look a little dowdy. I’d need to see some try-ons to decide for sure.

I’m right there with you! Favorite 90s concerts- Green Day, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Toad the Wet Sprocket and best of all time, Beastie Boys!!!

Weird. Theyve taken the Power Pivot tank off the Canadian site.

both my husband and I are now working from home (we both work for the federal government here in Ottawa). He is working in sweats but I wake up, do my hair and makeup and put on my clothes like I’m actually at work. I find I’m more productive this way. I think it really depends on the person. We are alternating morning and afternoon to help our little one with online learning activities and some outside time too. Man it is hard, and my work is even busier than usual.

Nothing for me on this upload. I honestly don’t feel like spending any money though our incomes has not been impacted. What I’m doing instead is ordering more takeout from small and local eateries near us even though I love to cook. I just want to support small businesses as much as I can.

My husband corrected me that he wears business casual most of the time, and has his suite prepared for client conference calls when needed but he does occasionally do sweat pants if he’s doing intense nitty-gritty work that will take all day. He’s been working insane hours since this all went down two weeks ago so he’s been more casual. I hope to have our blog post up today or tomorrow with some ideas. Some of it is basic stuff you would figure out in the first week but he’s got some great gems I hadn’t thought about.
Yup. Agreed about supporting local. I’ve been feeling intensely protective of some of my favorite little local companies. I see what they are doing to adapt and am so full of admiration. Today I ordered a book from a tiny shop I love and am doing curbside pickup. I have prime but as I was about to check out I remembered them Instagramming they are doing curbside orders so chose to support them.

I am unable to find the More With The Pack Jacket on the Canadian website? It looks very interesting (k-way like). Am I missing something?
