Free To Be Bra

by Cristina July 26, 2010
written by Cristina

The Free 2 Be Bra goes up to a size 10. Too bad (assuming this fits smaller than it’s size) because I’m really wanting a luxtreme bra but I would prefer it if it was the Flow Y version. This bra is not too low cut in the front so it does have some potential. I’ll have to give this one a fair chance when I see it and actually try it on  to see if it passes the nursing access and bending forward test.

Ok, I’m now sold on the Run: Inspire Crop and the alarm Run: Swiftly Short Sleeve. Does this combination not look haute?

Track and Field Jacket – Back

by Cristina July 26, 2010
written by Cristina

The pleats are THE worst for someone with hips. I had issues with the Run: Reflection Vest that I tried on and felt I would need a size up. They sat like this on me but worse and I hate when pleats do that. Ok, these aren’t exactly pleats but the fabric in the vest and the jacket is sewn in a way that makes this poof out above your butt so it’s a lot like a pleat.

Run: Recharge Tank – Colors

I originally really liked the Citron one the best but I hadn’t seen the Black before so I think it’s a tossup between the two.

Run: Recharge Tank

by Cristina July 26, 2010

This looks pretty nice on and deceiving when it’s just hanging on the hanger because it looks shorter than it actually is. I like my tops to be longer and fit around the hips (even though I’m short) because when it fits over my hips and actually contours my hips it wont flip up or roll up. I think the combination of Silverescence and Circle Mesh is not as soft as the regular Run: Swiftly materials.  I love the stitching on the side of this tank, it’s very flattering.

Track and Field Jacket and Inspire Crops

by Cristina July 25, 2010
written by Cristina

Well I’m not minding the design at the bottom of these crops, in fact I think it looks pretty cute at this angle.  I think I like the citron one the best which is good cause citron will look very nice with Lolo purple and pretty much any other color. Or I’ll wait for that light blue one from the sneak peek video (looked like Aruba or River Rock) Do you runners out there wear longer crops year round or do you get special long and thermal running pants? My past winter running experience was outdoors very little and mostly on the dreadmill but this year I’m commited to rain or shine running. The Track and Field Jacket is a great style (lots of fans out there) but I just am not liking the alarm stripe on it. I want to see a picture of the black and coal stripe because I glanced at it in store and it was the nicest one. I couldn’t use this jacket for running though, check here for my initial impression on it (haven’t yet actually tried it on =)).

This bike is in all the lower mainland stores. Odd. Must be to do with there new cycling line.

Run: Swiftly – Alarming & Oasis

by Cristina July 25, 2010
written by Cristina

These are the new Run: Swiftly’s in Alarming and Oasis. I like that the Swiftly material mutes down the colors because when you wear the same color Flow Y underneath it’s a really nice contrast. I like this muted down version of alarm the best of all the alarm tops out right now because it’s not quite as intense which is what puts me off of Alarm tops that are all one color. I find it kind of annoying that all of the blues that they released in the swiftly lately seem so similar. Lagoon, Angel and Oasis look so similar and they’ve been released consecutively since about March. I would love to see a blue come out in this that is more vibrant such as Wish which even muted down would look very different from the last 3 blues.  My potion purple swiftly tank is going to be the perfect thing to layer under the new Run Pullover when it gets a little cooler out and I need two layers.

New Lab Items

by Cristina July 25, 2010
written by Cristina

Spin Me Tank Luxtreme and built in shelf bra with Circle Mesh straps, comes in black or coal. This looks really cute, I really like the circle mesh straps and how it looks against her back with that little gap peaking through at the bottom. The scoop neck in the front seems quite low so I’m thinking this would be a very secksi top for someone well endowed.  I can see this being something that ends up in stores eventually.

*PS. The Maxi Dress is now available at the lab but it’s limited to one per customer.

Slouch Pants made of Luon, looks like they have pockets and are made to look like dress slacks. Boy I wish these were available when I was pregnant and working at the office. I was able to wear my Still Pants with a nice long cardigan but these would have made me feel much less guilty and more office appropriate. I like these better than the Cali-Roll crops. I may end up getting these in the winter because I don’t think i’ll want to go back to wearing jeans after wearing Luon for basically the last 2 years except for maybe wearing jeans 5 or so times. If Lululemon could make jeans I swear they would make a killing but I just don’t see that happening.
