New Product: Iconic Wrap

I am so annoyed that I didn’t get to try on this top in it’s full potential. They were still trying to figure it out in the store when I was trying it on. Annoying. I may get this down the line because I’m a big cardigan wearer but right now, $88 seems pricey. Especially since I need running gear for fall.

I really liked the Coal/Dark Grey one on because of it’s versatility with layering with other colors, but the oatmeal colored heathered clarity grey is so flattering on and I love my V neck in that color.

New Product: The Commit Tank

Good picture of the Commit Tank. I love the look of this on but on the hanger it didn’t interest except for the ribbon detail. This looks really lingerie inspired with the curved bust line up top, like a corset. You can’t really see that detail in any of the pictures that are on Facebook yet but you can take my word for it. See pictures above of this tank in Alarm.

Run Inspire Crops

by Cristina July 24, 2010

Well, there cute and it’s a different seam detail than the other run crops but I don’t think this would flatter someone curvy. I guess it depends on if you want to highlight your butt. SO it could work for curvy phat bottomed girls but you have to own it like she does. Look at the length of these on her, these are longer crops that us short people wont be able to have hemmed because of the color detail at the bottom. Although, going into fall it wont be so bad to have extra leg coverage. These have three pockets which is great if you carry gels with you, two front pockets and the back zippered pocket. The tank in Oasis bellow is the commit tank. I really like the black detailing on the Oasis because it reminds me of french lingerie for some reason. very secksi top.

Dance Crop: Personal Fit & Detailing

This is how they fit around the calf. Very pretty, too bad I couldn’t get a better shot of the detailing with this junky camera. Also excuse the crayon marked mirror and unpainted yucky runners toes.

And another one for the team. Since I discussed the waist I decided to show it to you. POST baby belly and all. And yes I am sucking it in!!!

Run Reflection Fabric

by Cristina July 23, 2010
written by Cristina

This is a good shot of how the new reflective swiftly fabric will look when it’s lit up. I really like the shorts and I wish it came in a longer length for me. Too bad! The only color combination I like in this bad stripy print is the Citron/Coal. It’s cute in the way that these thin stripes are the ones that light up all the way around and I see why lulu went with this pattern. Seriously though, I can handle the print in this color and would wear it on night runs for sure because it’s highly visible. Function and safety first. It would have been weird and probably distracting to drivers to have the entire fabric be reflective or have large reflective prints throughout.

Adventures at Coquitlam

by Cristina July 23, 2010
written by Cristina

I was so disappointed to not come home with a new running pullover today and to not have found any new colors such as Lolo or the new blues (Aruba? River Rock?) that I grabbed the new dance crop as an impulse buy. $78 seemed pretty hefty for a thin luon pant. I’m such a sucker for the cute calf ties and the little cuff that I had to take it home with me. But I’m having buyers remorse because I got the Wish Wunder Grooves last week and they are so much more substantial and also reversible so I think I may visit with these crops for a few days and then take them back when the Run Pullovers are finally in. I dunno, would you wear crops in the fall/winter months or are they too summery? If I can wear them year round then I may keep them.
The new Run: Inspire Crops were a bit uninspiring for me. I thought they had reflectivity in them but I couldn’t find where. I didn’t really love the color detailing at the calf but that may be something that would look really cute once you try it on. I’m pretty married to my Run: With it crops (love the cuff) so I didn’t feel the need to add a new pair of crops. My next running pants are going to have to be a cooler weather pant.

New Products: New Improved Swiftly Tank (?)

by Cristina July 23, 2010

The Run: Swiftly
In Alarm. I like Alarm in the swiftly because Silveresence mutes colors down a bit but I didn’t like it enough to get one. Apparently this is a new improved arm but you can still see the Flow Y under it so it just depends on if you had issues with the old style. I personally didn’t mind the bigger openings because it just meant more ventilation for me.

New Products: Iconic Wrap

Iconic Wrap
I so wish I would have liked this…
The idea of it is great. Pima Cotton, long sleeve to layer over tanks, and short so that it’s actually like a shrug. So complicated figuring out how the heck to put it on because it’s all one continuouse piece so I asked for help and the Educator had just then figured out how to put it on. She had to bunch it up first and then put it on over my head for me. When it’s on, the whole top part bunches up around you in a poofy way. Looked cute on…but not what I want in a shrug. And the kicker is that the price for this lovely is $88!!! Yikes.

It looks about as complicated as it really was to put on.

New Products

New run top made with luxtreme and silveresence. this is not a combination of the two fabrics as I had thought (wasn’t that what she meant in the sneak peek video?) yes it is. Silverescence/Circle mesh combo is the Oasis portion and the grey paneling is Luxtreme.

It seems to me that this is the new style of top that fixes the issue with the old style of swiftly (large armholes). I saw the new Alarm and Oasis Swiftly’s and I’m sure that they are identical to the old ones and have the same arm openings (which I don’t mind at all). This new top is mostly Silveresence with some Luxtreme panels in it. Looking at it I thought it would be too short for me as I have a very long torso but when I had it on it actually looked very nice on. I would get this in a 10 or even a 12 for a looser fit because the 8 is form fitting. The colors for me didn’t do it and I’m hoping this comes out in that pale blue color from the video (aruba?) because I really liked that color. Now that I know this is much nicer on than in the pictures i’ll maybe end up getting that one.
