Heathered Clarity Grey

Such a nice color. Here are some pictures that showcase it well. I tried on the Iconic Wrap today in a size up and it was much easier to maneuver and the right length on me. You really need that extra bit of drape in order to play around with styles. I don’t think this is necessarily a size up item but if your between two sizes or at the upper end of one size try it the next one up.

Fouette Tank Detail Picture

by Cristina July 24, 2010

It’s a cute tank, I like it best for a fuller chest although it is a low support tank. Light Luon and the cinching at the bottom are both very nice things in a summer tank.  The color combos here remind me of cirque du soleil for some reason. Not that I don’t like the colors per say, I think it’s just the colors with the combination of a dance inspired top I can imagine her tippy toeing on a tight wire.

Dance Crop Detail

The Static Charcoal one was pretty cute as well because the cuff and ties at the bottom are black. I didn’t chose that one because the Static Luon is a bit less stretchy and with really fitted pants maybe less forgiving of some flaws that I have. Static Charcoal is a nice color to wear with pinks and purples and I was feeling a bit torn with which to chose but ultimately the black ones are more versatile. Not a huge fan of birks with these pants. And here is a link to my previously posted pictures of these crops

Commit Tank + Dance Crops

by Cristina July 24, 2010
written by Cristina

Finally a decent and accurate picture of the Commit Tank and a bit of detailing on the Dance Crops (LOVE).  I’m digging the Commit Tank in Charcoal actually. When I looked at them in store it was the Oasis/black one that grabbed my attention but this Charcoal one is pretty nice. I maybe would have liked one in Citron too. I didn’t care for the Alarm one because there was no contrast color on it so it was kinda blah. I didn’t try this tank on only because the educator thought it was not a supportive enough running tank and it just wasn’t that nice looking hanging on the hanger but it was right next to the Push Your Limits tank so I think it must be suitable for high impact.

Scuba Hoodie

by Cristina July 24, 2010
written by Cristina

I haven’t been all that interested in the new scuba hoodies since I’ve already purchased all the jackets and sweatshirts I like. When I was at Coquitlam though this one really drew my attention from afar. I’m a huge fan of Heathered Clarity Grey and the combination with Citron makes this a really subtle yet pretty print. Usually I’ve found that oatmeal colors can wash me out and look boring but the Lulu version of it is so flattering on, it’s something you just have to try on. I’ve had lots of compliments on my Modern V-Neck in this color…most notably from my sister. Anyone that has a sister knows how reliable that compliment is. I wont be grabbing this sweatshirt but it really did make me sit there and admire it. I also have to give a notable mention to the distressed Lolo Purple Hoodie because I like the Purple detailing on a grey background and no color blocking. As far as the distressing, I’m not fussed about it, it doesn’t bother me. As far as the price ($128 vs $98) I think you can tell the difference in the styling of the two sweatshirts and that one is a bit more “pretty” and softer looking (the Alarm one in the bottom picture is $98). so it just depends on if you love it and would get a lot of use out of it. I don’t see these sweatshirts as being the same price so I’m just not surprised that there is a difference. $98 is expensive for a sweatshirt as is $128.

New Bag: Yoga Tote Picture

This is pretty cool! When you flip it inside out it becomes a small yoga mat tote. Love the purple. I think this would be a really great bag for teachers who tote around a lot of projects, assignments and teaching aids.

New Product: Run:Recharge Tank, Back Detail

by Cristina July 24, 2010
written by Cristina

oh, and the skirt looks cute in black. Not so much the colored ones. I liked this tank, it was a very nice fitting running top that you can just easily throw on over your Tata tamer. It’s made of Silverescent Cirle Mesh (not as soft as the old silverescent material in my opinion) and it has luxtreme panels. I wondered about this in the earlier post of the day on this tank and have been stood corrected.

Detail Picture: Commit Tank

I wish there was a detailed picture of the Oasis one because the Alarm one is all one color so you don’t get the full idea of the very pretty detailing.

Note the corset style detailing above
