Thursdays Upload Wishes and Predictions

by Cristina July 28, 2010
written by Cristina

Perhaps we will see the Track and Field Jacket, the vest, Inspire Crops and all of the reflective swift gear. And the Fouette Tank of course.

There seems to be some staggering of releases between US and Canada. We got the Iconic Wrap and they got the Polocross Pants and the Free to Be Bra and the grey striped Commit Tank. Maybe these will show up on tomorrows upload as a surprise for us all.

I don’t think I need anything from the website but I may cave and grab the Wish CRB or Flow Y. It’s no longer in stores around here and I love that color so I kinda feel like I need to snatch a top up in Wish. I was really wanting a Pima T in that color.

What are you hoping to see and planning to buy?

Get her a matching headband from Lulu please
and a Tata Tamer for those ladies

If you love the manifesto burn out prints you’ll love this top. It is pretty cute with the hood added to it but i’m not a fan of manifesto burn out prints.

Fast in Flight Bag and New WWA

by Cristina July 28, 2010
written by Cristina

This is a really sweet bag. In person it actually looks a lot bigger than I thought it was based on the sneak peek video but not so big that you can’t use it as a purse. I can’t wait to see it in Ivy. It’s funny that they called it the Fast In Flight bag because it reminds me of the old airline bags that flight attendance’s (or stewardess) back in the 70’s used to use. Remember the Pan Am bag? They don’t look the same of course but it reminded me of it. The Fast in Flight bag has a special passport pocket and is meant to be the perfect travel bag. I bet it also fits within the cary on size restrictions.
ORIGINALS- 70's Original

Interesting that the new WWA is black and they just had one online (sold out today) that was also black. I think I’m right in my observation from a few posts ago that something has changed. It must have for them bring it out in black again.

Gorgeous.

Dance Crop – Static Charcoal

by Cristina July 28, 2010
written by Cristina

This picture series really points out the rise at the back of the pant. There called a medium rise but on me at times it goes over my belly button and I find it to be a slightly lower than high rise pant which is really great for someone with a shelf butt. I get full coverage. The waist is also pretty thin so you don’t see it through, say a thin white Pima T-shirt. Also, the luon feels pretty thin in comparison to my Wunder Grooves so it’s more like a legging but you can wear it with a short top. I find it forgives my less than smooth areas.

Polocross Pant

I haven’t seen these in Canada yet but it’s an interesting pant, reminds me of something I’ve seen at the Lab before called the Ride on Crop. I think these are best for long and lean legs and will be a nice fall pant.

Nice low profile pocket detail

Track and Field Jacket – Chinook Centre

by Cristina July 28, 2010
written by Cristina

Apparently there is a coal Track and Field jacket which I like very much.  I can’t wait to see this in solids. This may be my next to and from jacket for winter. I don’t think I’ll be using it for running but it’s certainly a very nice jacket and I can over look the pleats for a more subtle print/color. I’m dying to know what jacket designs Lulu will be coming up with as I really regret not getting the bomber jacket last winter.

Now Available at Oakridge

by Cristina July 27, 2010
written by Cristina

I’ve been tipped off that the “Hero, Manifesto Long Sleeve Hoodie” was spotted at Oakridge. This is thin Pima Cotton and burnout material just like the Manifesto V-neck and comes in Black with White burnout lettering. This is the top found in the sneak peek from the lulu website that has since been removed so I don’t have a picture to show you just yet. I do recall there was a warning about it bellow that said “please be careful with me, I’m fragile” or something along those lines. Keep that in mind when you open your wallet to make that purchase if your tempted by it. Not sure what the price of it is but the Manifesto V neck from springtime was $88 and later went on sale to $29. I currently have my $88 Manifesto V neck on sale on the exchange page as well as right here.

I’m not a fan of the manifesto prints since my bad experience with the one I got for $88 which ended up with a hole in the armpit the first time I wore it. I had an unsatisfactory response from the GEC when I talked to them about it and so I will now not wear it or anything like it as I have a bad associations with it.
* No Run: Inspire Pullover at Coquitlam today.
