I know a lot of you were poking fun of the Will Pants yesterday but I still am intrigued enough by these to try them on. So far I’m liking them in these pictures.

Someone posted on Lulu This Just In Group on facebook a product alert image that she received from her store for a blue Chai Time Pullover II which I think is probably Pigment Blue. We’ve now seen a CRB and Wunder Under Pants in this color as well as an Australian preview of the Pigment Blue Striped CRB so it’s not a wild guess that this one is Pigment Blue as well. I was really sad to miss out on the Paris Pink Chai Time Pullover so as long as this doesn’t arrive in stores until January I really would love to get it. I think this is more my color anyways. Just don’t get uploaded until January please.
These new hybrid Wunder Under/Still Pants have great potential for me. I love wearing my Wunder Unders with boots but my only nit about them is that I wish the rise was slightly higher, higher even than the Wunder Grooves. A still pant waist band sounds perfect to me but I just wonder if these will stay up. I also really like the addition of pockets. Definitely will be trying these on soon.
Sorry my posts have been lacking this week, I intended to start a 12 days of Christmas post last night but I have a wicked cold which I suspect is actually the flu even though I had the flu shot in November. I’ll probably still do the posts though and just post a few of them all at once for you. Also, yesterday my telus tv service decided to pixelate and freeze and the soonest they can get in to fix the service is Sunday. So home sick and no tv = sucky! I got a little bit of online Christmas shopping accomplished the other day and got my mom some Savasana Socks. I think she’ll really like them. I think I also want to get her the Gym Essentials Kit since she travels so much. Next on my list to tackle is my dad and he is very hard to shop for. All I know is I wont be getting him any lulu. Are you guys done your Christmas shopping??
This wrap is just constructed too short and wide. I wish it had other details on it to compensate such as buttons or a sash to belt it in.
I like the contrasting lines on these. I don’t think I’d like that on all my run crops but it’s nice to have a sportier look sometimes.
I’m not a huge fan of the tinted canvas print but I do like how neutral it is and that it has so much depth in the print between all of the different tones. I think the print looks best in a simple design like the CRB where there isn’t other details like seams or contrasting fabrics competing with the print.

A new Christmas shopper!
Reflection Wrap
Some of the Lulu wraps that have been out have had flattering lengths with not so much volume of fabric in the front short panels so you get a better figure flattering look..well as figure flattering as you can get with this style. This version of the wrap, I think the length of the shorter panels is all wrong. This wrap just seems all off for some reason. I wish lulu would incorporate belts made out of the same knit material and maybe have the entire wrap one uniform length. Or have the option of wearing it upside down for a cropped wrap or rite side up for a longer length. I really like the Cashmere wraps from Aritzia so much better than the lululemon ones and it’s all because the cuts are more figure flattering and streamlined.
Plum Wunder Under Pants
I’m intrigued by these plum Wunder unders. The Paris Pink is way too bright for me but I do love these ones, especially with the black Chai Time Pullover.
Run: Turn Around Shorts
Dressage Pants
No offense at all to this model, no reflection whatsover on your figure (or anyone else that has modeled these pants). The contrast butt panel just really bugs me. Its just such an odd statement, no? Luon tights are figure enhancing enough as it is, why need to draw even more attention to it with two different colors encircling the butt? I get that these are inspired by riding pants but I don’t think these are really meant to be anything more than a fashion statement. If I see you walking on the street wearing these pants I guarantee you I’ll be staring at your butt. There. Hopefully I haven’t offended anybody.
I decided last night not to stay up because of this stupid cold and ended up being up tossing and turning anyways but I didn’t think to check for an upload. Good thing nothing I must have was uploaded though -I think…unless something sold out that I don’t know about.
Did you guys order anything today? Did you stay up for the upload?
Coal Black Orbit Lace Print $198
This scuba is interesting. I actually like it if you remove the hood fur and especially the fur around the cuffs. $198 is far too expensive for a sweatshirt though in my opinion and a $40 increase over the other fur lined hoodie simply because they added fur to the cuffs on this design is ridiculous.
Recently, Sandra the owner and designer of Loko Sport was kind enough to send me some crops and a jacket to do a fit review for you guys. She knew I’d be interested in her pants since they are made in Canada and in fact, the fabric she uses is from Vancouver and is Lululemon’s original supplier. How awesome is that!! The material is not luon but it’s quite similar and so far no signs of sueding or pilling at all. Sandra has 20 years of experience in pattern making and design and has a passion for creating designs that flatter real women’s bodies with higher rises and tummy control panels. If you guys have been disappointed in the luon quality lately I suggest you give this fabric a try.
I got to try out the Clamdigger crop a in a size large (I’m a 10 in lulu pants) and they fit really, really well. I loved that the waist sat up higher and where cut in such a way that I had no muffin top at all. Usually with Luon I get immediate pilling and sueding between the upper thighs due to friction but I’ve worn these Loko Clamdiggers 3 times now to Crossfit and there is no signs of sueding or pilling at all. My Crossfit box has these mats on the floor that are slightly rough and my luon bottoms always seem to catch against them so I’m constantly worrying about abrasion on them where as these I wasn’t worried at all. In fact, I only ever wear my most trashed luon bottoms to Crossfit because it’s just not like running, my clothes really take a beating at Crossfit. This Loko Sport fabric is just as wicking and breathable as luon, has a slight sheen like luxtreme and the inside is soft like brushed luon and they’re super stretchy. I really love that it’s made without any polyester blended into the fabric which is what I think helps cause pilling in luon and also gives it the cheaper feel that we’ve all noted lately. These pants are really perfect for me for workouts like Crossfit and general gym workouts. I’d probably not wear them for running since they don’t have the compression I like or the added features (gel pockets, reflectivity, cinchable waistbands) but if you usually just wear groove pants or other basic pants for running in then you will love these. I think overall these are a great basic pant made out of an awesome material and I’ll likely buy them in the future.
The jacket I got, Soft Shell all Weather Jacket is pretty similar to the Lulu Apres Yoga or Weather or Not trench style jackets. It’s the same outer softshell material lined with fleece with a really nice cut and length and deep pockets. It’s too cold in Vancouver right now for me to wear this out but it’s perfect for our usually very rainy weather and I’m really looking forward to using it come spring. I opted for the size L again in this jacket as I’m an 8/10 and I think I probably could have gone down to a medium. The arms are cut much more generously than lulu jackets and there is plenty of bust/chest/shoulder room.
The online store for Loko Sport is not quite ready yet but it should be up very soon. For now you can check the website for retailers near you that carry the brand.

I made a quick stop in at my store today but since I have a really bad cold I didn’t stay very long -really I just needed to pick up some NeoCitran otherwise I wouldn’t have left the house at all. Coquitlam didn’t have much new if anything at all but I’m pretty sure I spotted the Tinted Canvas Scoop Neck Tank and possibly a lively tee in the print. I checked out the Paris Pink Micro Stripe Power Y and it is gorgeous -hoping for a CRB in that print. I didn’t see the Paris Pink and Plum Wunder Under Pants like a lot of other stores are reporting. I hope the product drops from now until Boxing Day are booooring.
