So sorry about the lack of labels and links for these pictures, I will update this post as soon as I get a moment in the next day or two. I’m literally cooking food for our family get together tonight and posting these images at the same time (much to my husbands annoyance). Merry Christmas to all of my lovely readers! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday with lots of lulu gift cards and much wanted items under the tree, safe celebrations and stress free family get togethers. Also, be prepared for good Lululemon markdowns on Boxing Day, (December 26th for you Americans that don’t normally celebrate Boxing Day) All of the stores have received huge restock shipments along with new item shipments and those restock items will be marked down, they work from a master markdown list specific for Canada and the US so most stores should have the same markdowns and inventory. I’ll be heading to Coquitlam Lulu on Monday with my sister and will be sure to give you the Boxing Day report. Although I would expect that like last year there will also be a Boxing Day loot upload for those of you that can’t venture out to the stores.

Runners have been asking for ages for colored luxtreme bottoms and here they are. I suspect such a light color will be very revealing, however because they are thermal tights they will have a bit more coverage/thickness than usual.

Merry Christmas!!!

I’m planing on doing a Year in Review post after Christmas but I thought in the meantime a ‘These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things’ post would be appropriate since one of my favorite Christmas movies is The Sound Of Music after all (but it comes second to Bad Santa – can you tell I went to Catholic school growing up and I’m very conflicted about Christmas?). Anywhoozle, I thought this was a really great year for product designs and while last year I didn’t buy a lot, this year I got more and I also passed on a ton of items that I reaaaaally loved. And so this list is the things I love and the ones that got away. 

Ambition Pullover
this one came out last year on boxing day and it looks as though they have renamed it the Run: Stay On Course Pullover for this year. Definitely will get that one in Pigment Blue when it’s out, or maybe Pig Pink. I just love the brushed fleece for running and how durable it is. 

Aura Jacket
I LOVE this hoodie. I think its the loosely knit organic cotton and how pajama-y it feels. I hope they make a jacket again this year using the same material.

Run: Mind Over Matter Crops
These are the only run crops I got this year and I love them both for the fit/function and for all of the feminine design features on it. I wore these for my half marathon in May and they were super comfortable. 

Sing, Floss, Travel Jacket, Heathered Navy
This is a great long hoodie for all of us short ladies. I do love the Live Simply Jacket but the length just doesn’t work with my proportions. Heathered Navy is such a beautiful color, I hope they use it again. 

Run: Full Tilt Long Sleeve
This is one run top that I wish they would carry thru in various color runs. I would have loved this in any of the pinks or Rocksteady. This one is my favorite run item for the entire year. 

Run: Dog Runner Pants
I was really surprised that I loved these pants so much. I hadn’t planned on getting track style pants at all and these were an impulse purchase. I love that they are plain without any seams or busyness on them. I love that they are Glyde instead of the swift used in Dance Studio Pants. My only complaint is that I wish it had gone up to 12 and I also wish the thighs were slightly roomier. 

Gratitude Wrap
Oh boy, the Gratitude Wrap. People have waited a long long time for the return of the GW and finally it arrived resulting in total website armageddon. I love the Black Swan one with the patterned inner liner. The other colors just weren’t special enough to purchase a second wrap but if it came in something like Paris Pink, Currant or something fun like a grey with a bright pink lining than I think I would get another one. 

Currant CRB
Finally! The cherry red everyone has been waiting for. I only got the CRB in this color but it is really a gorgeous shade. 

Elevation Space Dye Power y
I am not a fan of Power Y’s but this print just called to me. I’m so glad I got it because it’s really a lot of fun and we didn’t see many items with this print on it. 

Cabin LS II Tee, Ombre Stripes
I am living in my Cabin Tee LS’s and I’m just surprised none of my friends or family have made fun of me for it yet. Literally, I wear them every day. My favorite one is the Pink Ombre Stripes one. In pictures I thought the pink was a little loud but in person it’s quite pretty. 

Off The Mat Jacket
I got this jacket because I just loved it in photos but once I had it I became a little shy about wearing it because of the bulky neckline and I almost ended up selling it. I had a change of heart though and realized that half zipping the outer zipper really reduces the bulk of material around the neckline and it’s become my go-to jacket on non rainy days. Its definitely warm enough for a Vancouver winter and it looks really great with jeans or wunder unders. 

Apres Run Pullover
This one is just cute and cozy. And I loved it in this color. 

Chai Time II Pullover

My last purchase of the year which was a fluke find at my local store the other day due to an online return. I missed out on ordering it online since the product shots didn’t include a view of the reverse side which is the prettier side in my opinion and I would have definitely ordered it had I know it reversed to a solid color. I almost immediately regretted not ordering it when I went to my store and learned they would only be getting them in Black and Grey.  

Ones That Got Away

Surge Wee Stripe CRB
Whenever I see pictures of this CRB I always pine for it. It’s so pretty and exactly the type CRB I’d wear  all the time. I’m confused as to how I talked myself out of getting it when they were in store. I think I told myself I had too much blue in my closet. 

Aura Jacket
I love the Aura Jacket in Iris I got so much but I wish I’d also gotten this neutral one to go with anything since so much of your top underneath shows. If I can find a NWT one on ebay one day at a reasonable price I’ll definitely be getting it. 

Run: Silver Bullet LS
I love this top for the color and that its a long sleeve but I passed on it because I didn’t love the material so much for a snug fitting long sleeve top. Too bad we didn’t see a Full Tilt LS in heathered or solid Raspberry. 

Sing, Floss, Travel Jacket in Heathered Rocksteady
Again, this Rocksteady is a color that I love. One of my favorites of the year. How did I not get this jacket??? I think I told myself that I needed to wear darker colors. Dumb!

Apres Piste Jacket
I love this jacket, the fit and how warm it is but I was not prepared to pay $320 for a really warm jacket for a mild winter. It still hasn’t gotten really cold here in Vancouver yet and were having a Green Christmas so I know I made the right decision. Instead I got a $79 Lands End Down Jacket in case it gets really, really cold as the weather nerds are predicting it will be here in Vancouver. 

Cuddle Up Jacket, Black Swan
Loved the Heathered Black Swan in every picture I’ve seen of it but in person the color looked really dull on me so I returned it. 

Paris Pink Hustle Jacket
I loved this jacket in this color but passed because I already have last years Hustle Jacket and love that one too. 

Run: For It Pullover
Love the look of this pullover in both Currant and Paris Pink but tech fleece is way too hot for me to wear running and so I could not justify it. Sad times. 

Special Limited Edition Lace Cuddle Up
It was not even a consideration to purchase this Cuddle Up Jacket for $200 but I sure love it. The lace overlay is super pretty in person. 

Paris Pink Sparkle Cuddle Up

Loved this cuddle up as well, especially in pictures. Both times I tried it on in stores though I passed on it reluctantly. Something about the jacket in person fell short on me. One of those items that whenever I see it on someone else I will look at it wistfully. 

On the Lululemon website they have a video clip for this new Apres Run Anorak in Ghost/Deep Coal Wee Stripe, although its not for sale just yet.  It has a sherpa lined hood but it’s not lined throughout and seems to be more a rain/windbreaker than a warm jacket. It’s really cute though and I’ll definitely consider it in a darker color.

This is a very saturated picture of Flash in the Flow Y. I don’t think this will be an accurate representation of the color but I haven’t seen it in person so not sure. 

 Scoop Neck Tank in Flash. I suspect this one is true to the color. 

 Flash in the Swiftly Tech Material. I kind of like it muted down here. 

 I especially like it with the darker stitching in this picture. 

 Pigment Blue in the Swiftly Tech material is gorgeous. If the Rocksteady Swiftly Tech LS doesn’t make it to boxing day markdowns I’ll probably get this in a LS eventually. 

A lot of the stores in Australia that have been posting product alerts with the new Pigment Blue color Swiftly Tech’s have been using old photos of other blues such as wish, rocksteady and other very similar dark blues. This one product alert email finally showed the true Pigment Blue Swiftly material which is a lot softer than I expected. Beautiful though. I kick myself for missing out on the Rocksteady Swiftly LS so I may get this one in the long sleeve version.

**Lululemon website potentially distributing malware**

Further to my earlier post about the hacker virus warning on the Lululemon website, someone posted an image capture of the warning message she got from her virus software while browsing the Lululemon.com website.  Several other people have confirmed also getting this warning message but not everybody is seeing this message. Another customer has reported having a malware virus infected her computer shortly after going on to the website (she did not get the virus warning). Her husband who is in IT was able to repair her computer for her and identify it having a trojan. Unfortonately these types of breaches happen to large retail websites all the time and there is probably nothing Lululemon could have done to prevent this, all they can do is let customers know that there has been a breech. Our only recourse now is to use our own due diligence and remove our stored credit card information from the website if you keep it stored (although probably too late) and keep vigilant of activity on your credit cards.  **Perhaps it’s best to not log onto the website for now and rely on the Lululemon Facebook Page for further information which I will repost here**Run anti virus software on your computer and if you have a Mac, don’t think that your computer is immune to viruses because I’ve had a virus on my Mac in the past. It was a simple fix when I realized what it was and identified the issue on the Apple.com website which also gave instructions on how to remove the malware. The virus that the lululemon customer has described today is pop up screens telling her to buy antivirus software. The pop ups kept coming up and multiplying on her causing her computer to crash. If this has happened to you or your computer also gave you a virus warning on the lululemon website please share in the comments section.

Some Canadian stores posted these pictures this afternoon and I at first thought the girls shirt was maybe vintage from the Lululemon Vancouver Winter Olympics line. I got the ‘Eh!’ shirt back then and regretted not getting the I <3 Hockey one so the black one appeals to me. I think the Canada toques are new as well since the ones from the Olympics were slightly different.
