My store just had this one unpacked in a size 8 so I wasn’t able to try on my usual 10. I’d definitely get it in the 10 because the 8 was just a bit clingy around my mid section in this thin silverscent material. I couldn’t get a great picture of the back cutouts but they are cute. I like this but I’m going to wait for markdown since I don’t need it.
Run: Nada Jacket $108 and Split Singlet
This jacket was really thin feeling, just like the swiftly material of the Om Pants. I’ve seen some nasty snags on the Om Pants so I’m weary of this material used in an expensive jacket although the fabric is nice and cool.
Swiftly V-Neck in Pow Pink. I think I want to exchange my SL version for the v-neck and then perhaps get the Pop Orange. Not sure yet.

I tried this one on today in the Pow Pink and really liked it but opted to pass since I don’t need it. There is also a Deep Indigo version as well that is nice.
Engage Bra

Now this really excites me. The Engage Bra is perfect for those B-C cup ladies (thats me!). Power Luxtreme and convertible straps and a little hidden pocket. If this has the ‘divide and concur’ cup design I will give this one a chance. The mesh at the bottom sort of reminds me of the old Bounce Breaker Bra from 2007/08
Forgive me, but I’m really not liking this Run: Split Singlet. The cropped boxy fit and the much longer back hem is not a silhouette that I’m liking at lululemon or anywhere else. It’s just not flattering on figures that are pear shaped. The roll down shorts may have possibility but it looks like they may have that diaper crotch situation that happens when the rise is too short so that it pulls the shorts up at the sides and bags out in the front. Poop!! Maybe a Bruised Berry CRB product drop will pull me out of this funk.
More pictures from lovely Australian stores that get product just a little bit earlier then we do sometimes. The Scoop Me Up Tank in Pop Orange looks really cute. I wonder if there will be a Pow Pink Swiftly 1/2 Zip as well.

This clarification is for the post I wrote about over here about a reader commenting that the Transition Jacket is replacing the Dance Studio Jacket. The lovely reader has written in to confirm that indeed she was told by a reliable educator that the Transition Jacket seen in the picture below will be coming in orange (likely Pop Orange) and that it’s meant to replace the Dance Studio Jacket. All of the Dance Studio Jackets at her store had been previously marked down to clear and are no longer available there. This is really unfortunately news since the two jackets are completely different styles and only really share the same fabric. A reason for this change is likely the more economical workmanship and lesser fabric of Transition Jacket. The Dance Studio Jacket is a reversible jacket with a three different fabrics (Swift, ribbed luon and sheer luon) and a lot of tailored and balancing seam details and details like ruching and subtle pleating and a hood. I really dislike the design of the Transition Jacket, even more so when you compare it to the Dance Studio Jacket. It’s really sad to me that this is the direction that Lululemon is taking, firmly away from the quality workmanship that made them so well loved and iconic.
Although I don’t agree that this is a replacement for the Dance Studio Jacket per say, I do believe that Lululemon is not going to be producing more Dance Studio Jackets in order to sell a higher yielding item in the same to/from jacket category – the Transition Jacket.
The reader further speculated that the picture seen in the website banner picture for jackets (shown in the earlier blog post) which is a running jacket shown in orange *may* be the upcoming orange Transition Jacket, however most commenters on that particular post feel that it is not the Transition Jacket in that photo but another running jacket.
These pictures are from an Australian store thats just started getting Twisted Stripe Pow Pink Print (TSPP) items. I wonder if we will see this in a Cool Racerback Tank.
