Big thank you to Ms. Q for sharing pictures of the Power Purple Run: Catch me Tank. She reports that this is a size down item with a relaxed fit in the midsection with rubber grippy tape around the inside hem. She didn’t get a chance to try on her TTS but said it’s definitely a size down tank for her. Love it!!!
Power Purple Run: Catch Me Tank
No word yet on the name Run: Catch Me Tank of this tank but it was just posted to a US store. I love Power Purple, it’s my most favorite lululemon color ever so I’m really tempted by this tank but ultimately it depends on fit and what fabric it is and the quality of the seams. If it’s luxtreme and fits well I’d love to get this for Crossfit. It looks like it has a relaxed fit around the mid section which I love.

Pow Pink Light Swiftly Tech LS
This is the one main thing I’m lusting after but am not buying. Between the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and buying a pair of much needed sunglasses, I’m tapped out of my shopping budget so definitely no lulu this month.
Trinity Bra
Another reader has come forward saying she just received her In Stride Jacket with Shoddy seam work and the logo on the front panel that is not aligned between the zippers. Another reader had a look at them in store and not one of the In Stride Jackets in her size had good workmanship on it. I’m not sure what is going on but definitely inspect all the seams of everything you get before you take the tags off. Every item, not just jackets. Lululemon’s stance on this is to deny that there is a problem, which to me says they are not taking it seriously and doing what they should to rectify the problem. Their public responses on their facebook page to the many, many, many complaints about quality issues does not instill confidence that they have grasped the issue or taken the feedback seriously. Instead the responses show a desire above all else to keep things quiet. We need to ruthlessly inspect our garments (and RETURN when they are faulty) just as ruthlessly as they deny there is a greater problem with quality.

No Limit Tank in Pow Pink and Caspian Blue
Gorgeous tanks! Tempted but I’m waiting for the Power Purple No Limit Tank.
Oakville Lululemon is having a major sale. Just look at those sales racks!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen sales racks that big except at boxing day…and even then I don’t think there was that much stuff marked down.
Reader Donna just received her Pow Pink In Stride Jacket from Monday nights upload and was quite disgusted in the quality of the jacket. The seams are ratty, shoddy and in several areas their are large gaps in the seams. I was attracted to the jacket on Monday night but ultimately decided not to order it be because of the shoddy seam work on the Pow Pink Define Jackets that I’d posted about before but also because of the second picture below. You can see in that picture some purple discoloration within the logo seams. This is the same discoloration that is happening in several other dye leaching tanks and I was surprised they didn’t catch that in the website picture before it went live.
Dear CEO Christine Day, do something about this. This is on YOU! This quality is caca! Fake lululemon purchased off the back of a truck in some dark alleyway or off a mysterious website is sewn better than this. I would not spend half the price on this let alone my time and aggravation in receiving an item like this only to have the burden of having to return it. Please, don’t treat your educators and customers like this. You may not have a passion for the product but your educators do, and this is not fair to them.

Pow Pink Define Jacket Seam Details
Finally we get to have a look at the Trinity Bra in real life. I really just dislike the front of this bra and how high it goes with such a sharp taper. I can’t imagine this will work well layered under a Cool Racerback, Power Y or any other tank…but who knows I may completely lack imagination on this one. It’s a shame because the back straps are really cute and I’m a sucker for luxtreme bras.
Trinity Bra (worn with the Amuse Me Pants)
The Ziggy Wee Caspian Print currently available in Australia/New Zealand is the same print we an see a glimpse of on the website banners (website banner preview here). This is a cute enough print but not one I’m super excited about, and from far away it sort of reminds me of crocodile skin. I’m way more excited about Power Purple making a comeback (best color ever!) and Currant.
Yes! A sucky upload for me! Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale 2012 will be all the more sweeter for me.
Momentarily tempted by the In Stride Jacket but judging by the horrible quality of the Define Jacket in Pow Pink I am dissuaded.
I think it’s really hysterical that every upload of this bra (Australia last week) has every color of this bra showing the rear view first forcing you to click on it to see the front view.
There were just three items at my store today, The Venus Tank (Pow Pink was the one I saw), Venus Crops and the Free Mind Crop. There were no No Limit Tanks in the Pow Pink or Caspian Blue and no Caspian Blue Swiftly’s, although I do think those will be uploaded tonight. I wasn’t interested in the three items I did see which is a good thing since I’ll be hitting up the Nordstrom Sale this coming weekend. Mildly interested in the No Limit Tank in Pow Pink but I wont be completely heart broken if I don’t get it.
