I did a little color comparison for you of Aquamarine and Angel Blue and decided to throw in some Snorkel just for fun. All three of these colors have green undertones to them which you really see when you have all of them together. Every time I see Angel Blue in store, no matter the material, it always strikes me how much brighter and vivid it is in person then I expect it to be. It’s a true Tiffany blue where as aquamarine is quite pale. I really love Angel Blue and am hoping the Define Jacket holds out until next month. Please lulu powers that be, next month for the Angel Blue Define. This picture was taken in natural day light, no flash. Snorkel and Aquamarine are both luxtreme and Angel Blue is luon so there is a slight difference in how much light gets reflected.

Some of you are asking in the comments if the Turbo Tank is TTS and I seem to remember from trying it on last year that yes the bust is TTS, however the body of the tank is loose fitting and long as you can see in the picture below. I’m pretty sure the size 10 Magnum (luxtreme version) fit similar to the picture below. I liked it like this and preferred my TTS in it.

I managed to drag my sorry butt to the store today despite a horrible summer cold but I really needed the Heathered Angel Blue CRB. Uploads and product drops have been so funny lately that you never know if something will be just in stores for a few weeks or just online (Angel Blue Energy Bra, Power Purple CRB). The Angel Blue CRB is gorgeous and just like the Heathered Power Purple and Heathered Deep Coal CRB’s with the same fabric composition of 47% polyester (97% Poly are the icky printed ones, no polyester at all are the solid CRB’s like Pop Orange and Pow Pink) super soft, thin and silky. I’m not sure but I think the Angel Blue CRB fits slightly smaller then my Power Purple. I’ll need to try it on again later today when I’m feeling less like poop and let you know for sure. It’s definitely not enough to size up but it does feel ever so slightly more fitted – I did find my power purple and coal ones stretch out a bit though so thats probably why. Split Pea was pretty as well and really soft and the Light Flare Stripes was pretty but neither of those two are really my colors. I wish I’d gotten the Heathered Tree Frog CRB when it was out last year, I really liked that one but ended up passing. I think Heathered Tree Frog is slightly greener and more interesting then Split Pea which is a bit more chartreuse.

Other items I saw in store today was the Run: Chase Me Tank in Angel Blue Tonka Stripe with Black Contrast straps. That one was super pretty too! The Heathered Power Purple Vinyasa scarf was in and it was soft but not like the Heathered Power Purple CRB I think. I wasn’t tempted at $48 for a scarf. The new jacket, Run: Track Time Jacket was in but I forgot to look at the price. It looked pretty fitted and it’s a primarly luon based jacket. Came in white and red. 

So gorgeous! Wish I was a scarf wearer. I’ve been told that this Vinyasa is uber soft (don’t you just hate ‘uber’?).

I’ve read reports that this turbo tank is luon and not luxtreme. I really liked the length of the Turbo Tank last year and almost got one in Magnum but ended up not getting it. I think I’ll be passing this year and just picking up a Heathered Angel Blue CRB.

Run: Track Time Jacket

I saw a few pictures of these Define Jackets the other day and completely forgot to post them. I think a lot of you are waiting to here if North America will be getting the Pop Orange and Angel Blue Defines. I for one could be persuaded into an Angel Blue Define if it waits till next month to make an appearance.

I have officially lost my mind. Please don’t judge me. I will have to ruthlessly decide what items of the past month of ridiculous spending will be going back to the store, and what items from my lulumum closet will be sold to compensate. So far, my husband’s vote has been to send back the Coco Softshell as the cut is just not flattering to my figure (although It’s looked fantastic on everyone else so it’s just not fair it doesn’t look right on me!). Ok, he rarely has negative opinions on my lulu stuff so when he voices one I can trust that he’s right. I’m kind of glad that thats the item on the chopping block as it’s quite pricey. Anyways, this has officially been the Treat. yo. Self month for me. Don’t look to me as the voice of reason this month as I’ve been told multiple times that I’m the ‘Enabling Devil’. Seawheeze + Power Purple and Angel Blue + fall items = lose all reason and accountability. 

Tea Lounge Crop

My store just had a few left of the Tea Lounge Crops and I accidentally grabbed my preferred color (the Dark Grey Commuter Denim) in a six. As you can see below they become wunder unders at that size on me. I was able to find the appropriate size for me in another store though in dark grey commuter so I’m happy about that. The lighter grey commuter shown bellow is the size 8 and it’s form fitting with a bit of slouch and I preferred that fit to the much more slouchy size 10 in black that they had, although I didn’t like it in such a light color. The rise is higher on these so going with the 8 didn’t cause unsightly CT or muffin top. I don’t have any casual lounge pants so I was happy to find these and like them. My usual size in pants is size 10 but I do occasionaly go with an 8, especially in run crops that are sometimes more compressive in lower sizes for me and slip down at the waist in the size 10’s. Don’t use that as reference though because I am a TTS 10 on the bottom and just preferred the look of these in the 8 on me.
