Fall into October Fashion: Discover Lululemon’s Product Drops and Restock
The Big Fall Upload is finally here! The Relaxed-Fit Wool Overcoat was much anticipated, with everyone wondering what the price point is. Bike yikes at $598 CAD. I anticipated a high price point but that’s insane. Especially considering it’s a ‘wool-blend’ and the fabric composition is absent from the description. It’s been updated – 70% wool, 30% nylon. I can easily find a wool cashmere MaxMara coat on poshmark for that price. I do hope to try on the lululemon coat, and hopefully I see it in store. I’d consider it on steep markdown, depending on the fabric composition.
The Cable-Knit Half Zip Pullover was another item hotly anticipated. It’s super cute but I hate that it’s nylon.
What I was excited for today is the new Wool Swiftly LS. I ordered I both colours and I can’t wait to try it on. I’m also tempted by the Merino Wool-Blend Base Layer Tight and Garnet Align Pants.
Did you order anything today? Let me know if you try out the Relaxed-Fit Wool Overcoat.
Back to Routine: Lululemon’s September Product Drops and Web Restocks
Happy Upload! This is a smaller upload which is pretty usual for the end of the month. A beautiful new jewel tone color dropped today, Deep Lux a raspberry/cranberry red! I’m waiting for the new Garnet Red pieces to drop soon, which I thin is my favourite red.
I ordered the new Diamond Texture Print aligns since I love my neutral patterns. Tempted by the Define Cropped Jacket NULU in blue willow. I discovered my love for the Cropped Define last week (posted an OOTD here) and so I’m eager to get new collars. I’m going to be good though and wait. The Navy/Gold Zipper full length Define Jacket is gorgeous and we will probably get it in the cropped version soon.
I may be alone on this one but I really hate the corduroy joggers. Such a bulky unflattering fit. On a positive note though, the cable-knit sweater featured on the joggers images is really beautiful and I can’t wait till that drops.
Did you guys find anything to shop for today? Let us know in the comments.
Power Up Your Routine: This Weeks Lululemon OOTD for Stylish Comfort
Last week I ordered the Cropped Define Jacket NULU with the gold zipper, even though I really wanted it in the regular length. I expected to hate the cropped version, but it turns out I really really love it. I think the proportions work better for me actually and make my lower half look longer.
I also recently ordered a ‘new’ old retro lululemon Gym Bag which I’ve wanted for a few years. I needed something bigger that fit my lifting shoes along with all my other gear and none of the new bags spoke to me. The old lululemon gym bags were much prettier and functional. For the same price point, I’m happy to shop resale.
There have been some new pieces this fall that have quickly become favourites and get regular rotation. Don’t expect my OOTD posts to be super exciting since I stick to similar core pieces in different colors. At least the Fall/Winter editions will also include jackets or pullovers in the mix.
The Diamond Align Pants, The Houndstooth Align Pant and of course my new Define Jacket are regular rotation items now. I have a few other favourites this month from lululemon’s most recent drops, but they will feature in my next OOTD post.
My mini me has joined my gym and we get to do the 6am workouts together once a week. Hence her photo bomb, lol!
If you are wondering what my starbucks drink is, it’s a nitro cold brew with a splash of sweet cream. It’s my daily indulgence I allow myself after my workout, so you will see this often.
September Refresh: Update Your Wardrobe with Lululemon’s Product Drops and Restocks
Wee little upload today, and not exciting like last week. This week we have the Licensed To Train High-Rise in Grey Eucalyptus. The color looks different in the licensed to Train pants for some reason. It seems cooler toned than the other pieces in Grey Eucalyptus. Very pretty and tempting! We also got a few pieces in the new Garnet red which I’m really looking forward to. The Soft Jersey Classic Hoodie in heathered garnet is tempting but I’m holding out for a hooded Define Jacket in Garnet, and some align leggings.
Anything for you guys this week?
FYI, I tried the Alpaca Wool-Blend Cropped Sweater and it came home with me. It’s a really lovely blend of Alpaca with wool. High quality! The dry-clean only doesn’t faze me – Alpaca/Cashmere and Wool needs very very little washing.
Fall into Fitness: Lululemon’s September Product Drops and Web Restocks
OMG THANK GOD lululemon is listening and moving away from catering to the TikTok Taupe matching-set wearing bots. This is finally a glimmer of old 2012-2019 lululemon! This upload was exciting finally, after a very long lulu drought.
I’m in love with the new Toile print Fast and Free Tights, and it’s clear many of you are as well since they immediately sold out in Canada. Take note lululemon! More of this! I also really love the large Houndstooth Wunder Train Tights. These are beautiful, wearable prints in neutral tones that don’t overwhelm the eye and can be matched with everything.
I would have definitely snatched up the Toile Reflective Running Jacket, but the price made my eyes water. I think it’s an outrageous price, but then again, it is in line with the pricing of every 360* reflective running jacket lululemon has ever released. If it comes in a more economical non-reflective version, it will be mine.
We also got some more Micro Houndstooth with the Align Tank A/B cup. Had it been in a C/D cup, or the waist length I would have ordered it.
I mentioned in last weeks upload post that I liked the Knit Button-Front Cardigan, but I would only purchase knits in merino or another fine knit (alpaca, cashmere etc). Lo and behold, today we got a beautiful pink alpaca sweater and cardigan. These are on my wish-list. I’m hoping to try them on in store.
lululemon has another colab out with an illustrator/artist. The lululemon x Yolanda Mutale Wonder Trains are very very cute and tempting. They are a bit wild of a print for me I think but I really like the overall balance of the print and the colours. Definitely something to try on and see. Her illustrations remind me of protest iconography, which suits are time well, doesn’t it? The affirmation text is really cute.
My Half-Zip Fleece Pullover purchase from last week is a winner, although I do need to exchange for a size down. They are very oversized and the size down will still fit me oversized. I also wish I’d ordered the taupe which is sold out in my size. Of the two I ordered, I like the white opal best, so black night will go back. It is a pretty purple but the white opal is more flattering on my colouring. I’m not sure the taupe would have been flattering on me anyways so it’s ok that it’s sold out.

Happy Upload this week! Some great gems today. We have a lot of pretty items in Nightfall, which is tempting me greatly. A cozy new half-zip fleece pullover dropped today. I ordered in two colours but will most likely just keep the nightfall one. The Scuba Mid-Rise Wide Leg pants in pink are so adorable, but thick joggers don’t get as much use from me as lightweight ones do. I love the shape of the knit button-front cardigan but dissapointed its nylon. if It was Merino, I’d be all over it. The merino items will probably come a bit later this fall season.

Pause for Power: Mastering the Front Squat and Crushing Your CrossFit WOD
Today’s CrossFit workout was all about strength and endurance. It kicked off with 5-7 reps of 3 front squats, each held at parallel for a 3-second pause, really engaging those quads and core. The intensity ramped up with 3 rounds for time: 450m row, 21 kettlebell swings at 35lbs, and 12 thrusters at 65lbs, all within an 18-minute time cap. This combination of movements not only builds strength but also boosts cardiovascular endurance, making it a killer full-body workout that challenges both mind and body.
What are the benefits of pausing in the front squat?
Pausing during front squats offers several benefits. It increases time under tension, which helps build muscle strength and endurance. The pause also improves stability and control, particularly in the lower body, by forcing you to engage your core and maintain proper form. Additionally, it helps to identify and correct any weaknesses or imbalances in your squat technique, leading to better overall performance. This technique also enhances mental focus, as holding the position requires concentration and discipline.

Workout in Style: Diamond Align Pants and a Muted Mauve
I’m a fan of the Align Waist Length Racerbacks, even though they have some quirks. They tend to roll up on me more than the CRBs ever did, and I usually need to size up. Despite that, I still like them and find them pretty flattering, though the Cool Racerback Tank might have a slight edge in that department. I absolutely love the muted mauve color, especially when paired with legacy green—it’s such a gorgeous combination!

Row Hard, Burpee Harder: How Today's Workout Pushed Limits and Built Strength
Today’s workout was a killer combo of 7 rounds of 450m rowing and 12 burpees, all squeezed into a tough 3-minute cap, wrapping up in just 18 minutes.
Burpees are a total game-changer for your body. They’re perfect for boosting cardio endurance, strength, and agility—especially important for a 40-something female. These bad boys work everything: chest, arms, core, glutes, and legs, making them awesome for burning calories and getting fitter overall. Adding burpees to your routine not only helps you get stronger but also sharpens your coordination and agility, which is key as we age to keep those falls at bay.
Get Fit Smarter: Top Tips for Crushing Your Next Workout
1. **Warm-Up Properly**: Always start with a good warm-up to increase your heart rate and loosen up your muscles. This reduces the risk of injury and prepares your body for more intense activity.
2. **Focus on Form**: Proper technique is key to maximizing your workout’s effectiveness and preventing injuries. Pay attention to your posture, alignment, and the movement patterns of each exercise.
3. **Incorporate Strength Training**: Adding weight training to your routine helps build muscle mass, improve bone density, and boost metabolism. Aim for a balanced mix of exercises targeting all major muscle groups.
4. **Mix Up Your Workouts**: Avoid plateaus and keep things interesting by varying your exercises. Try different workout styles, such as HIIT, yoga, pilates, or cycling, to challenge different muscles and maintain motivation.
5. **Hydrate and Fuel Properly**: Staying hydrated and eating a balanced diet before and after your workouts can significantly improve performance and recovery. Include a mix of carbs, proteins, and healthy fats to fuel your workouts and support muscle repair.
6. **Listen to Your Body**: Rest and recovery are as important as the workout itself. Pay attention to your body’s signals and don’t hesitate to take a rest day if needed to prevent burnout and injury.
7. **Set Realistic Goals**: Establish clear, achievable goals to keep yourself motivated. Whether it’s improving endurance, increasing strength, or hitting a new personal record, having goals helps maintain focus and track progress.
8. **Cool Down and Stretch**: Finish your workout with a cool-down period to gradually lower your heart rate, followed by stretching to improve flexibility and reduce muscle stiffness.
These tips can help you make the most of your workouts, ensuring you stay fit, healthy, and motivated!

Diamond Design Detail
I really love the feel of these diamond align leggings they feel a little bit stretchier and softer, and the design is very flattering. It's a very flattering fishnet look.
At some point I'd like to get the blue Diamond Define Jacket.
Legacy Green is such a stunning forest green. It makes me think of British Racing Green, leaning ever so slightly warmer than past forest green shades lululemon has released.

I’ve received a few questions about my shoes tonight. They’re the Vivo Barefoot Shoes, which I’ve been wearing since March. After breaking a toe last year, I noticed a significant loss of foot mobility and strength. Wearing these barefoot shoes has been instrumental in rebuilding my foot’s intrinsic strength.
