Thanks so much to reader Ms. A for sharing these detail shots of the new Rebel Runner Crops. My store didn’t have these in today or anything else new so I don’t have a fit review post for you today unfortunately. I will try to get one for you this week from both Lululemon and another none Lululemon fit review.

Upload!!

I ordered the Rebel Runner Crops in Mini Pop Stripe Heathered Slate. I fell in love with them a few weeks ago when I saw them on the international upload and didn’t expect we would see them here in Canada. I may have ordered them in Fuel Green as well if Canada had gotten them but I’m glad Canada had my first pick which was the Slate. Nothing else really caught my eye today but I’ve been tempted by one of last weeks Scuba Hoodie III’s which the US got totday. The Cotton High Rise Wunder Under Crops in Heathered Rain Touch Gator Green on the US side is super pretty but I was hoping they’d be luon. Its funny that on the Hong Kong uploads it never identifies wether a pant is luon or cotton.

Did you order anything today?

Beauty Review: Lipstick Queen ‘Butterfly Ball Sigh’ And ‘Let Them Eat Cake’

by Cristina October 10, 2015
written by Cristina

Guys, I have a new obsession that I have to share with you. I used to collect nail polish but in the last year or so I’ve really gotten into lipstick instead. I like Bite a lot (made in Canada) and got a few of those over the summer that I really like but today I discovered Lipstick Queen and I am absolutely hooked. Like I said, I’m obsessed and I really splurged!! Lipstick for my coloring is quite tricky but I’ve found that lavender based pinks are the most flattering for my eye/skin/hair color combo and I’ve gone as far as buying an opalescent clear gloss that I can layer over other colors to add that lavender. Sometimes lavender pinks can be too Easter egg purple, goth, matte or just plain crazy but if it’s the right balance of pink with a hint of dusky lavender it’s perfect for me. The ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ lipstick caught my eye today because it is a gorgeous rose gold bullet. I swatched it thinking it would be a fun but garish metallic and it’s actually a lavender pink with little flecks of gold! I got to try it out in store on my lips and I was amazed out how glowy it was and hydrating with really great color payoff I then tried the Butterfly Ball ‘Sigh’ and it also has a touch of mauvey lavender to it without being a nude and I just had to bring them home. I decided to go for lunch first before making my big makeup purchase and over an hour and a half of eating and drinking (afternoon date day) my lips where still stained the most pretty pink. I went back and tried them again and it’s now been 4 hours (without eating) and the ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ has stayed in place. Also, this brand of lipstick is cruelty free according to their website and made in Canada.

Watch this Youtube video I found swatching some of these colors. First Impressions: Lipstick Queen. I now have 3 more colors on my *neeeeed* list. Definitely I want to try Queen Bee, Frog Prince, Hello Sailor and another one I saw in store in the Butterfly Ball line called ‘Goodbye’.

Have you guys tried this brand before? What do you think?

The packaging on these is unreal.

Lipstick Queen

Butterfly Ball – Sigh

Description from the website:

The light, airy and magical look of the butterfly wing is the ultimate in glamour produced exclusively by Mother Nature. All the subtle Butterfly Ball shades pay tribute to this. They are as sheer as a butterfly wing with a beautiful hint of shimmer and Iridescence when they catch the light. The formula is incredibly wet, soft and moisturizing to condition your lips, while dressing them at the same time.

  • The subtle flash of blue pearl in each shade is flattering on the lips and helps teeth appear whiter
  • Super moisturizing and conditioning with aloe vera and vitamins E, C and B
  • Contains film formers to help seal in moisture

Lipstick Queen

Let Them Eat Cake

Description from the website:

The lavender trend gets a Lipstick Queen makeover with Let Them Eat Cake, a delicate lilac lipstick shot through with sugary rose gold sparkles that will light up your entire look. Paying homage to Marie Antoinette’s lavish taste and her total rejection of the ordinary, Poppy created this ground-breaking and truly extraordinary lipstick that captures that same spirit of rebellion and decadence. Pretty pastel is given a special metallic finish with a rock and roll edge that shimmers flirtatiously on the lips.

Can be worn alone or as a topcoat, it will transform your favourite Lipstick Queen shade with its unique metallic pearl effect. The icing on the cake, if you will!

  • With anti-oxidant Vitamin E and nourishing Apricot Kernal Oil
  • Suits all complexions
  • Cool tones of lilac are cleverly countered with rose gold lustre pigments that catch the light and create voluptuous lips
  • The lilac trend made flattering

Sneak Peek: What We Love

by Cristina October 9, 2015
written by Cristina

Not an overly intriguing What We Love this week but I know you wintery runners will be very happy to finally see the Toasty Tech Tights make an appearance. The Fleecy Keen Jacket is back in an edition III, and I believe is also coming in Fuel Green as the Honk Kong site has that color. Although that may be last years edition of the Fleecy Keen Jacket in Fuel Green. The jacket in person is GORGEOUS!! But extremely warm. I find it way warmer than any of my Lululemon down jackets.

Fit Review: Wunder Under Crop III Space Dye Twist Cosmic Teal Multi

by Cristina October 9, 2015
written by Cristina

While I’m at soccer watching my kids I thought I’d give you a quick impressions of the Space Dye Twist Cosmic Teal WUC’s. I got to try them on 10 minutes before having to rush out the door again so good thing I snapped a pick. Sorry again for the formatting of this post – it’s going up on an iPhone app.

The stripes line up perfectly front and back!! I got these in my size down (I’m dedicated dieting right now) and fully expected them to be too snug to wear right now and I was going to put them away for when they do fit. Actually, they are quite stretchy. I can see the tag a bit in a deep squat but I’m sure in my tts they’d be fully opaque. I’m not suggesting these are a size down at all because the 10’s are still ideal for me, but these are a good stretchy fit and not overly compressive.

I wish Canada had gotten the high rise because I definitely prefer that to these regular waist WU’s. I’m going to hang on to these in hopes that we get the high rise but if not, I love the color and print and definitely want to keep these.
