The Lululemon Upload

February 5, 2019

The Lululemon Upload is live! Nothing for me today because I did a little middle of the night shopping last night for wardrobe staples. I purchased these Mother Jeans on sale and these ones. And then… I purchased this cami and this one which I had been wanting for a long time (it’s camo for you camo lovers!). Finally, I caught them on sale. The camis will pare so well with all of my cardigans and sweaters, or with tops that are a little too low cut.

Sadly no Camo Fast & Frees where uploaded today. Those are something I know a lot of you have been waiting for, and they were the first thing I looked for on this upload. Rumour has it that local stores had a new shipment in but they got cleaned out of all of them within a few days.

Did you order anything from today’s Lululemon Upload? Any other shopping this past week you want to share?

The Take It Further tank… no words.

  2. Anonymous says:

The Wunder Under high rise print with the pinkish flowers is cute. But if it’s made similarly to the last Wunder Under Engineered print I purchased, it will be backed in white and look see through when you bend over. (Unfortunately I bought it on mark down and couldn’t return it).

  3. Catherine says:

The first TIED TO TIDE SWIM top and bottom look like surgical gauze. Weird grey color and weird cut for a swimsuit.

  4. Gymmie says:

Lol about tank. I thought wow they have it all twisted which would bug me. Lol. But that’s the style. Yah I don’t think swimwear is lulus thing. So many other retailers do it so well but don’t have the Lulu symbol on them.
But I DO love the wu in black white with small pink flowers. I’m a sucker for black white prints. I guess because I can wear bold colours on top for nice contrast. Yah what is with the fast and frees and Camo being bought up …some for resale.
Well I did buy an extra wu with strava so I could swap out for this new print. Other than that I am good until next week or wmtm lol.

The buying up all camo for resale has been happening since they started dropping. Offering up stores for send sale is one thing, cleaning out stock is a whole ‘nother kettle of fish. So I just vote with my $ and choose not to participate.

      • Anon says:

I didn’t even know someone was cleaning out stock for the Fast & Free Camo. Darn it, would have been great to purchase a pair with the strava discount.

  5. m says:

Not super exciting for most but I am SO HAPPY to see a few “Tall” items pop up (fast and frees and On the fly Pants) because every time I try on a pair of lulu pants lately they are WAY too short. Athleta has been getting some of my casual wear business simply because they offer so many pants in tall inseam. It’s sad because lulu used to make their pants nice and long

Why are your lululemon collective disclaimers in the tiniest font possible?

    • LS says:

Seems you managed to find it just fine.

    • Cristina says:

Because I liked how the graphic block looked in line with the follow text and social media widgets. It’s a redundant addition since I already have broader affiliate disclaimers in five different areas of my blog.

      • Anonymous says:

Oh that is so cool. I heard they were offering collective discount to product embassadors. I just haven’t had time to look for application on their website. Good for you to arrange as I know people check your blog out for product info and it does take time to write and research for blogs!

        • Cristina says:

This is a new program they launched a few weeks ago for bloggers, youtubers and social media influencers separate from the sweat collective. It’s not the sweat collective discount on the product but a way to monetize your content. If you have an instagram with a lot of followers and you regularly post content you should sign up if it interests you.

How dare you try to make money from your blog?? Taking advantage of absolutely no one…it’s just abhorrent.

Lol just kidding (obviously). Good for you make as much money as possible and buy more lulu to review etc. Don’t make the font bigger either 99.999% of us don’t care.

            • Cristina says:

Awe thank you!! You are sweet and hilarious. I’ve maintained this blog through feast and famine, and back and forth between the two. Whether I make .10, break even or make a profit I blog because I enjoy it and I enjoy this community so much!

    • Anonymous says:

I thought it was very noticeable due to the red print.

    • Anonymous says:

I have absolutely no issues with Cristina getting some commission for the work she does that we enjoy, and she’s posted MANY times that if you click through a link she may get a commission. Thank you for keeping this blog going, Cristina! Looking forward to more content : )

I didn’t buy a thing in January which was so easy to do and if what they have put out so far is any indication 2019 purchases could be few and far between. What are those designers smoking on their lunch breaks???

I’m amazed at the poor photo shop-ing … terrible job, really!

    • Samantha says:

Yes! There is a blond girl in one of the new bras that just looks… weird. Her arm, waist, hand, back… all so odd. I’m sure she’s an absolutely beautiful girl that needs zero photoshopping ?

  11. S says:

    – That twisted tank is so weird! I also thought it was a mistake when I saw it.
    – That sweatshirt reminds me of the sweatshirts I wore in middle school in the 90’s that were slouchy and too big on me. Lol. I’d never buy it.
    – Most of the swimsuit bottoms look really weird on the models.
-in general, a lot of the clothes don’t look very good on the models. I’m not sure if it’s the styling?? The proportions look off.

  12. buggie says:

That’s funny – just last week I bought 5 styles of Mother jeans at Nordstrom Rack. Three turned out to be wins (And all three for the price of one pair full price – woot!). Also got a cute pair of high-top p448s. The Rack is really sneaky sometimes… in a good way.

    • Cristina says:

OMG what an amazing find with the p448’s! Congrats! I love when Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack sneaks special items in like that. I’m still swooning over my Alexander Wang boots I scored on Boxing Day for a steal. I’ve worn them several times but I’ve had to put them away when the temps dropped and the salt started getting sprinkled everywhere.

I’m hoping I’m happy with at least one of the Mother Jeans I ordered.

      • buggie says:

yes! I’ve started a new routine of every couple weeks going in and searching my list of super high-end brands. usually i find zilch, but every once in a blue moon something amazing pops up. last night i looked at sunglasses. goddam, that was a mistake [face palm].

p.s. i hope you make bank from your blog affiliate links and can help fund many more delicious purchases to share with us 🙂

  13. Sara says:

What a craptastic upload. That vinyasa is not rulu but French terry.

  14. Anonymous says:

Omg all the yes to a polo tee in pretty colours, I hope these come to Australia!

  15. LZ says:

Another boring upload with nothing for me. I’m with the others who can’t believe the Take it Further asymmetrical tank actually made it into production. What were they thinking?

I did snag a white FTB tank from the outlet yesterday–only because it was marked down to $29.

  16. britt says:

I guess I’m the only person who likes the “Take it Further” tank. I love asymmetrical designs and like that it’s different. I don’t mind if this means I’m the minority and I can scoop this up on WMTM :).

  17. Anonymous says:

Since the uploads have been such a snooze lately I ordered a couple of pair of the “In Movement” tights. I’ve been eyeing them for awhile.

  18. Rise and Shine says:

So frustrated. The app and website were messed up today and I tried three times to order Toasty Techs in Garnet. Finally, I got through and now the order is showing up as Cyber. GEC says they can’t change an order that’s processing, but that I can try to get this resolved once I receive my order, but WMTM is final sale. So, so, so pissed. This is their screw up; they should commit to making it right. Their technology problem is costing me $90. WTF?

    • Anon says:

My stores in Ontario refund wmtm either on visa or gift card…no questions asked and no grief given. I think stores are accepting that it’s hard to buy wmtm without trying on so they are happily refunding. Not sure if all stores have this newer policy. I would def explain situation. Shouldn’t be an issue.
Anyone looking for fast free Camo I think Vancouver stores have them in stock or at least the newest lady reselling is from Vancouver Robson store area. Good luck getting yours but I agree would have been nice to use strava discount

    • Anonymous says:

Once you receive your order I think they will make it right, especially if you are firm about it and emphasize that it’s their error. One time I wrote a scathing review about a WMTM item, they contacted me and I received a full refund after I sent the item back.
(BTW… I actually have the cyber toasty techs and the color is so pretty in person, but I understand it isn’t what you wanted to order.)

    • ANON says:

I’m surprised to hear that. I chatted with GEC after my Black Friday order was still showing as processing after several days. They advised I couldn’t cancel my order (I was getting mad) but they would be willing to send me a warehouse return label that day so I could return as soon as my order arrived. They are usually pretty quick to offer me a warehouse return/gift card for any item–used, final sale, etc if I have an issue. I’m sure it will work out.

      • Rise and Shine says:

It did work out. The store GEC was very helpful and took care of things.

And, yes, the Cyber color is better looking than the Garnet, but I already own two pairs of dark purple leggings, so I think I’d better branch out!

        Thanks for the support, everyone!

  19. Anonymous says:

Ushered can I get that camo vinyasa??

  20. Klo says:

This is completely off topic but do any of you have a peloton bike or tread? Maybe it’s this freezing polar vortex and foot of fresh snow or maybe even the cute SoulCycle capsaul but I am intrigued.

    • Cristina says:

I’ve been thinking about getting one too. I haven’t been to spin class and there aren’t any really great ones in my area. I’ve been too busy to get to the gym lately and I’d love to have either a spin bike or a rower that I can get some cardio in every day.

  21. anonymous says:

Saw the new print in Speed Crops in the store and I was disappointed 🙁 Online they look black and pink but really it’s a flash/grapefruit color, which has been done to death. It was also very underwhelming in person. I wish it was pink and black – if they had been, they’d be in my drawer right now. Walked out without looking at anything. I can’t remember the last time I bought something or took more than 2 items into the dressing room to try on!

  22. Anonymous says:

Obsessed with those new Fast and Frees!
