Early upload this week. Not sure what’s up. Don’t forget to check out with your ebates!

The early upload this week may have been a last minute decision based on the US election tomorrow. They’ve never done that before but this is quite a different election year. I know a lot of people that are having election viewing parties tomorrow and that is here in Canada. I think we all feel your election anxiety this time around – whatever way you are voting.

Usually after Black Friday, Lululemon begins doing double uploads for the holiday season, but it’s possible they’ve started that a bit early to pick up some early momentum, in which case we may also have an upload on Thursday night.

This wasn’t a stellar upload for me but as I mention below, I ordered the new Scuba Hoodie IV to try on and compare with my other scubas for you. I would have purchased the Nocturnal Teal Define jacket but I already got the Jet Set Blue one last month (on sale) so this one cannot be justified. Not yet at least.

Did you guys order anything? Did you manage to try the Apple Pay promotion for a $25 gift card?

Sleet Sprinter Jacket

Think Fast Hoodie

Scuba Hoodie IV

Curious about fit on these. I ordered the teal just to do a comparison for you guys but I doubt I’ll keep it. I can’t justify more scubas.

Sculpt Tank II

Nocturnal Teal Speed Shorts

Yogi Racerback IV

Mantra Scarf

Love Tee Crew II

Pace Rival Crop

Dance Studio Crop II

Fresh Track Tights
I’m curious to try these new tech fleece tights on.

Sleet Sprinter Tight
Softshell tights for winter snow running.

Fast And Free 7/8th Tight

Outrun Long Sleeve

Define Jacket
Darn! I think I would have preferred this Nocturnal Teal Define to my Jet Set Blue Define. On the other hand, I did get my Jet Set Blue one marked down.

Inspire Tight Mesh

Swiftly Tech LS
Is it just me or does this swiftly look a bit sheer over the bust?

Is it because Friday is a holiday?…

I'm curious if the new scuba is slightly shorter, hopefully less boxy? For some reason I'm drawn to that electric coral print in the high times. I'm also really liking the nocturnal teal colour… So many options- inspire tights, all the right places, or perhaps the new fresh tracks??

Those Scubas look ridiculous – not flattering!

  3. November 8, 2016 / 12:17 am

Maybe it's because it's Election Day tomorrow in the US. I'm looking forward to fit reviews for the new Scuba. I haven't bought one in about 8 years. The style was never comfortable to me. Maybe this one will

That makes sense. Even though this is a Canadian company, their focus is on the US market and it's all about the election tomorrow.

  4. November 8, 2016 / 12:35 am

Because tomorrow we will all be celebrating Trump's crushing defeat and won't have Lulu on our mind!!!

Yeah, Heaven forbid we should have a president who puts America first and cares more about our own people than everyone around the world who hates us (except Canada of course)..yay, Hillary wins and we become like Venezuela in a few years.

Trump cares about the American people? As long as they are white and male right? lol. Ask yourself why you think the rest of the world hates you…….

I guess Trump does care about American people,,, as long as they are Victoria Secret models that is!

@ B anon, yes, please please let common sense prevail!! I am Canadian but have watched with horror that this US election has turned into a Jerry Springer show. The US is so much better than this!

Wow, The Clinton machine has successfully brainwashed everyone. Please educate yourselves and listen to alternative news sources on the Internet who relate facts….not the mainstream media including Fox who all favor "traditional" politicians who will run this cointry into the ground.

They hate the US but they all want to come here….tired of recent politicians appologizing for American exceptionalism and racking up a debt equivalent to approx $1billion per person giving out handouts

Somebody please make an argument in favor of Hillary. You won't because there are none. You'll say " you can't spell". My family immigrated to America because it used to put its own people first.

How about we focus on what this blog is about instead of politics. Jeez. Everywhere you go, even on a Lulu blog.

agree with you anon 1:42 AM, in particular about how important it is to educate ourselves and find alternative news sources.

    • Anonymous
      November 8, 2016 / 4:42 pm

Reputable is more important than alternate. It's sad that people are so untrusting of main stream media that they'd shoot themselves in the foot with a Trump presidency. Best of luck today, America!

Vote for Hillary, keep that debt growing, shipping jobs overseas, and importing millions of people who do not share American free market values…..wait and see what happens. Hope you like it when we have WWIII with Russia. See if you even care about discussing Lulu on a blog then.

Try this out next time you go to a potluck picnic. Instead of bringing something to share with everyone, bring a bunch of empty ziploc containers, fill them up with everyone else's contributions, then leave. You think those people that actually contributed food will be a wee bit pissed at you? Yet, nobody seems to show the same dissatisfaction when immigrants who never contributed a dime to our economy come into the US and start immediately collecting welfare. And spit all over our values and traditions. Trump may not be the most "polished" politician, but he is the only one that has had the guts to speak the truth and point out that America has been the world's whipping boy for too many years.

Has anyone tried the fleece please jogger? If so can u comment on fit-TTS? Or how it compares to the fit of the ready to rulu pants? I am wondering if I should order the size I wear in those?
Here's hoping the new scuba is an improvement but that one I will wait to try in store since I take different sizes in scuba 2 vs 3.

Great, thanks LLM! If u purchased the RTR pants would u have gotten them in a 10 also? My issue with those was the pocket outline showing and then sizing up looked ridiculous on me. Thanks for all u do!!

I am so jealous of your spare pair of base runners!!! I am wearing mine right now and wish I had more!! Thanks again

    • Lulumum
      November 8, 2016 / 12:57 am

I did the other day. I quite liked them and they where more flattering on me than the RULU pants. For how thin they are, I didn't find they showed anything in the butt area, it was just nicely flattering and narrow in the leg. I tried on my TTS 10, and my friend purchased them in her TTS 6.

    • Lulumum
      November 8, 2016 / 1:05 am

I would have but I did find the ready to rulu pants had a much looser fit on me in the leg in a very unflattering way. I could not have sized down in those though because of the pocket issue you describe and because the RULU is unforgiving if it's too close to the body.
Definitely give the Fleece Please Jogger. Had I been in the market for a new pair of joggers I would have snatched them up. I have last years Base Runners though and even have a spare pair NWT's so I really couldn't justify getting these.

      November 8, 2016 / 1:11 am

lol, I know! I forgot I did that last year and I recently found them hiding in my closet. Unfortunately I got them in a size down (in order to justify owning a spare) but it was a nice surprise anyways.

I have both the Ready to Rulu and the Fleece Please joggers. They are both really nice and both true to size. I was pleasantly surprised by the Fleece Please joggers – they look really nice on and are very comfy. I didn't find them to be too thin at all. I got the black cherry ones and then went back for the grey ones. The Ready to Rulu are a little looser overall and more stretchy/softer. Both are great pants!

  6. November 8, 2016 / 12:52 am

Is it me or are the Defines shorter now?

this is what I was thinking too!

    • November 8, 2016 / 3:21 am

I'm confused they look the same online? Has anyone done a comparison? I swear it's been ages since I've wanted to stop in to lulu and to try anything on.

Actually, it just looks like that herringbone define is unusually short. The length of the other colors seems normal to me…

    • November 8, 2016 / 7:19 pm

the herringbone is the one I was referring too…it looks shorter

Could you do a comparison of nocturnal teal with Alberta Lake tofino and poiseden? Hard to tell in pics and there are so many items in it. Maybe compare with naval blue and inkwell too please….thx so much

    • Anonymous
      November 8, 2016 / 12:57 am

I got the nocturnal teal aligns and will be returning them but only because they looked very close to my inkwell ones from last year. Nocturnal teal is almost a neutral….has more gray maybe in it? I am horrible at describing colors but it's beautiful. I couldn't justify it based on a small difference. However I would consider a different style bottom in that color. Tofino from summer is definitely a bit more teal less neutral. Hope that helps a little!

    • Lulumum
      November 8, 2016 / 12:57 am

Yes I can but it will have to be tomorrow in better light. I have all those colors.

I haven't bought a scuba in a while, the last one I got was the bark berry one when it came out and I love that one. I'll give these a try, I do love the dark grey. Glad I got the think fast last year, I don't like these ones much.

  9. November 8, 2016 / 1:30 am

Sleet tights for wet snow running… in 7/8 length, because we all want our ankles to freeze.

  10. Anonymous
    November 8, 2016 / 2:25 am

Agreed. What is up with that?

If someone says they overheat there, OK! I wouldn't judge you because I can overheat in other areas of my body, but definitely not my ankles!

      November 8, 2016 / 3:08 am

this! plus I always said you can make pants shorter (just roll them up) but you cannot make them any longer, grrrr

    • Anonymous
      November 8, 2016 / 3:32 am

I don't want to roll my pants up it looks fugly imo. I am 5"4 and 7/8 is a perfect length for me . I feel that I pay so much $$$ so the pants better fit me well without rolling them up or having to gen them. I do think that they should make tall version for taller people though

    • Anonymous
      November 8, 2016 / 3:58 am

Sorry anon 7:32 but that's just silly. They should make one version that's tall enough for everyone and hem for free, or else make multiple sizes. Doesn't make sense to make pants for the cold that are too short for anyone with long legs or taller than 5"4'.

    • Anonymous
      November 8, 2016 / 5:11 am

I don't think anon at 7:32 is silly at all. I hate rolling my pants and frankly hemming doesn't solve everything. The proportions are off and a lot of times the "ankle" area is loose because so much has been chopped off. I prefer the 7/8 length as well. It's perfect.

Tried on the Scuba IV today. I really liked it. It's still thin material like the Scuba III, but much more streamlined. (I would have preferred the heavier weight of the Scuba II, personally.) I thought it was flattering. I didn't buy it because I didn't totally love the colors and for $118, I have to really love it, but I think it's an improvement on the III.

I will try on the Sleet Sprinter Jacket but there is nothing else here that interests me. The new version of the Love Tee Crew has lycra in it so I want to check out the fabric to see if it's more substantial than the original crewneck which is a flimsy material. I won't be buying any rulu pieces this year no matter what wonderful colours they come in as I find the material thin and prices high. I would consider something on markdown if there was a style I liked.
