I really like the low sexy scoop back on the Repetition Tank and that the straps can be worn two ways.
A detail shot of the newest Special Edition Scuba Hoodie. I’m loving the Heathered Dune. Not so much the Scuba itself. Also, the copper zipper is a nice touch (but it’s metal and I hate metal zippers).
Heathered Dune is very similar to Heathered Mudd and I’d be very happy to see more items come out in this color and perhaps a few other heathered browns. It’s nice to finally see a neutral that isn’t black or grey. So far we’ve seen Raw Blue and Heathered Dune come out. Let’s hope for more non black/grey neutrals.
I brought home the In Stride in Light Grey Pique today but sadly it’s just not me despite how soft it is. Also, I checked out your new Special Edition Scuba Hoodie and there are elements I like about it but it’s just too out there and all those gathers are not flattering to my figure so it was a pass.
I’m sad because I just sold a lot of my lulu items and I feel a bit lost in the store these days. Rubber Ducky Cool Racerback was a big winner for me but now I’m needing something really special and not a basic. Something like a print. I feel like colors have been repeated too often and now I’m feeling bored. Purple Crush is too similar to Very Violet, Concord Grape to Lolo and Aruba to Cool Blue, Angel Blue and River Rock. Rubber Ducky and Beachy Green are really the only new colors out now but there are very few items in these colors right now and they seem to take back seat to Concord Grape and Aruba. Pique is the most exciting thing going on. Or, Lulu, I really think it’s time for the Gratitude Wrap to make a comeback. I really think it’s time for some amazing items to show up and not just some small basics here and there. I think it’s time you pull out your magic Gratitude Wrap card and wow us all. It would be epic!
This is a list of things I’m hoping we will see (besides the Gratitude Wrap):
-Scuba Hoodie in Rubber Ducky or Heathered Rubber Ducky. I would jump on it.
-A Cardigan that is not the Express Yourself/Zen Wrap/Live Healthy Reincarnation. Something more like the Sport Cardi from a few years ago. I like the knits but the styles have all been pretty much the same. Charcoal, Beachy Green and Rubber Ducky would make nice cardigan colors for Spring.
-A super high support tank for running that does not require doubling up of bras for the bigger busted ladies.
-More colors of in the Studio Pants such as a kaki or Ivy Green. Black and Grey are too harsh for Spring and Summer. I love the Raw Blue but I think I want a light neutral as well.
-A longer short similar to the Groovy Run Shorts but made for pillow thighs like mine. Just a few inches longer with a slightly higher rise so that I don’t have to use Body Glyde.
-A print in the Swiftly Tech material? that would be divine. A Swiftly Tech LS or Short Sleeve.
What are you guys wishing Lulu would make for us?
Thanks to a readers pictures we have an accurate comparison of the Raw Blue Studio Pants with the same Black Studio Pants. When you have them next to each other Raw Blue looks very close to black. If you’re in store and looking at the pants wall you wont be able to tell the Raw Blue’s folded in with the Black Studio Pants. I find depending on the color you wear them with though you can bring out a lot of the blue tones. I quite love these in Raw Blue and since I don’t have Black Studio Pants it was a no brainer for me to get them. I’ve worn them with Rubber Ducky, Power Purple, Charcoal, Heathered Wish Blue, Haze and my Plum Hustle Jacket. All those colors make these pants obviously a deep navy blue and less black. The one color I did not like with these was my Heathered Pig Pink Scuba Hoodie, that just really clashed too much for me. I think if these were to come out in another color like a kaki or Sand Dune or Ivy I would be tempted to get them as a casual alternative to jeans, especially since these can be worn as crops or long pants.

I just came back from Coquitlam Centre Lululemon and had a chance to check out this Special Edition Scuba Hoodie in Heathered Dune. I would probably never wear this one myself but there was something about it I quite liked in the Heathered Dune. It looks almost like a muted gold and has a metal (yuck!) zipper in copper. It’s a very showy and lux scuba hoodie that I may have actually been tempted to try in had it not had a metal zipper and if the price hadn’t been $138. I liked the copper color of the zipper with the gold Dune colored Tencil but the metal zippers are deal breakers for me. Interesting Scuba but perhaps too interesting for long term use.
**Nope, after seeing more pictures of this scuba I’m not liking it. Interesting idea but back to the drawing board.
The Repetition Tank has the same mesh waffle detailing at the neck that the matching Repetition Crops has on the calves and thin adjustable straps. I wouldn’t be surprised if this also came in Concord Grape to match the Concord Grape Repetition Crops.

Lululemon has decided to pull back two items in the past week due to quality issues, Run Distance Pullover in Concord Grape due to the quality of the circle mesh. I would think if the issue was just the circle mesh though and not the dye then all of the Distance Pullovers would have been pulled back.
The Speed Up Tank was taken off the website on the same day it was uploaded due to quality issues with the dye. I wonder though why the Push Ur Limits tank in Purple Crush hasn’t been pulled back since it’s also Luxtreme and the same dye color. Perhaps it was an incident with the particular dye lot.
The Push Ur Limit Tank in Purple Crush has NOT been recalled, however I saw these in store and thought they looked a little washed out compared to the Cool Racerbacks in the same color. Just something to be aware of.
A reader had mentioned this morning that she was able to order these new Run Speed Shorts through GEC on the US side. Although I don’t love the black version of the Ikat print in tops I think I’m digging it in shorts. I’d like to try these on in the Groovy Run Shorts if they make them in the Ikat print.
Coal/Static Coal/Purple Crush and Black/Ikat
This is the newest Special Edition Scuba Hoodie made of Tencil Silk. Tencil is a silk derived from wood pulp and is naturally a creasing, wrinkling material just like real silk or linen. I’m heading to Lulu today and would really like to try this one on. Not sure I want it but it’s pretty interesting. Also available in Heathered Sand Dune. Hmmm, I may like it better in that color.
