I’m hoping to try this on later today and give you a fit report but these images are great in showing how the buttons can be used to make the wrap shorter or longer. I just wish there was a picture of the front of the wrap. You can also tell by the picture that this wrap is quite a bit thinner then the Live Healthy Wrap. I wonder if that yoke seam at the shoulders is a raw edge.
For those of you feeling antsy about your online shopping experience being set back during the ecomm reno’s, lululemon has launched the progress matt to let us all know how it’s coming along. This is hysterically cute. Check out the Under Renovation Page for further details but beginning April 5th, the online store will be even thinner then it is now and only black items will be available. No bother, the Lululemon Exchange Page and other similar pages are hopping with activity so now is the time to grab those ‘ones that got away’ or do a little bit of spring cleaning as I am.
I forgot to mention the last time I was in my local Lulu that I spotted black Iconic Wraps. I used to have this wrap in static charcoal and really liked it for wearing over tanks but ultimately I sold it for a couple of reasons. The main one being that I didn’t like how it looked under open jackets. I know, I know, I’m neurotic like that. Also, the one I had was a size 10, and although you can size up in this wrap (at the time I was solidly a 10) , the extra drape in fabric at the lower belly wasn’t very flattering on me and it just ended up looking a bit sloppy on me once I dropped a bit of weight. So because I neglected it in my closet and never really wore it more then one way I ended up selling it and now I’m hunting for something similar to be worn over tanks but with an open front and not all one piece. The Oasis wrap is nice enough, I just haven’t liked the colors I’ve seen in it yet and also I think I’d like something in a knit to make it look a bit dressier so I’m holding out hope that the Mudra Wrap is something that will work for me.
The Mudra wrap seems to be a thinner knit then the other wraps that have been out recently judging by the sheerness of the top picture. Also, I”m really liking the back pleat and hem design much better.
Picture on the right shows the wrap shortened using the buttons. Would be nice to see that from the front as well.

The Mudra Wrap looks like exactly what I have been hunting for. I tried the Live Healthy Wrap last month and really loved it but there were a few details that just weren’t working for my figure. I love that this wrap has buttons added at the inside collar so you can shorten the wrap. It also seems to have more streamlined front panels. The Live Healthy Wrap was just too voluminous in the front panels for my pear shape and shorter legs so it really just added too much weight in my upper body which is the area I should be highlighting. This is a for sure wish list item for me.
Vanessa Hudgens spotted in Lululemon Coal Dance Studio Pants and possibly also an In Stride Jacket. I love how long the Dance Studio Pants make your legs look. I think it’s a combination of the ruching and the length that pools over your shoes. She looks amazing in these pants. My DSP’s are a bit snugger then this so I don’t wear the waist rolled down but I really like the look, especially since these are a higher rise pant.

Black Citron Tinted Canvas and Tango Red In Strides are starting to trickle onto US store facebook pages. A reader that spotted Tango Red today states that it’s a true candy apple vibrant read. Also confirmed by another reader who was told by a lulu designer that Tango Red is indeed a true red and not an orange red.
Some US stores and showrooms are now listing Tango Red as a color option for the In Stride Jacket. I’m interested in getting a Lively Crewneck Tee in Tango Red but it would be nice to also see it in a Swiftly Tech Tee, Cool Racerback Tanks, Modern Racer Tanks and Define Jackets. Currently I don’t have anything red in my closet from any brand so I would love a cute tee in this that I can wear casually as well.
Looks like Upload Thursday will not be back until April 14th when the new website is launched.
Drat! I could have had an extra hour of sleep today since I was up at 7 for the upload and it didn’t start till 8. Anywhoo, so far these items have shown up. I think it’s mostly going to be a restock day and I really hope to see a Long Sleeve Swiftly Tech Tee in Power Purple. Things from my imagination that I would like to see would be an all Iris Long Sleeve Swiftly Tech Tee, A Snorkel Aura Jacket, an Iris Pure Focus Tank. Other then that I’ve gone ahead and got a second pair of Dance Studio Crops since yesterday it felt too warm for jeans already. I’m patiently waiting for the Modern Racer Tanks in Snorkel and Violaceous to show up.
OK, I’m pissed we didn’t see the Modern Racer Tanks? How bout you guys? What did you buy today?
