Today was an off schedule run but I was feeling like a caged greyhound after 4 strait days of torrential rain and being stuck indoors with toddlers. My mood has not been pretty to say the least. I begged my mom to come over today to give me a break and off I went in my new Heathered Menthol CRB for a 4.25 mile run. For those of you still wondering what the Heathered Menthol CRB feels like, it’s exactly the same as the Heathered Rose Quartz CRB that was out last week and has the same fabric composition. I find it quite soft, not the softest ever but it is soft. The color is really pretty but I think they should have considered naming it something more nostalgic like ‘Miami Vice Green’..although I guess Menthol Cigarettes are also nostalgic for some. I went with the Miami Vice look and paired it with a soft pastel pink, my Iris Aura Hoodie for after my run. This color pairs so nicely with a lot of different things.

Also, I got a new pair of flip-flops yesterday. I’ve been needing a new pair of spring/summer shoes to wear with my crops and shorts and couldn’t decide between a pair of Toms shoes, Sanuk flip flops, Reefs, Uggs Fuzzy Flip Flops, Birkenstocks or something else. I tried on shoes for the past 3 weeks and finally yesterday I bit the bullet with these Reef Miss J-Bay. They were on the pricier end for flip flops but what sold them for me was that they are all leather, have contoured foot bed and are really comfortable. The Sanuk Yoga Mat Flip-Flops were nice too but I felt like once my foot got clammy they would slide around and not grip since it’s a synthetic material. I’ve worn these all day yesterday and today and I think they are really worth it. They are so comfortable and with running in minimal shoes for the past few weeks I felt like I really needed to avoid too flat flip flops and really baby my feet. 

Ooooh, this new No Limit Tank in Porcelaine Beachy Floral Print is really fun. Not sure I’m dying to have it like I was with the Concord Grape but it’s definitely a fun version of the tank and perfect for the summer months. The Speed Shorts look a lot like board shorts in that print. 

This is such a cute combination of colors with the Porcelaine Dance Studio Jacket, Heathered Menthol CRB and Beachy Floral Print Daily Tank. I would never have considered layering the Daily Tank underneath a CRB but now I’m going to layer my Blurred Blossom under my Heathered Menthol and see how it looks. 

The newest Run: A Marathon Crops that come in Porcelaine have a Wee Are From Space print in the band with porcelain, heathered menthol and white. This will probably come in a Cool Racerback Tank since we had a March and April version of this print in the Cool Racerbacks. I’m loving it in this colorway so will be sure to save my pennies for it just in case.

Both the Porcelaine Dance Studio Jacket  and the Heathered Menthol Cool Racerback sold out yesterday in record time. By 6am yesterday there were only size 4 and 6 left in the jacket and a short time later it was all sold out. I was definitely stressing out until my ship notification email came in late yesterday.

According to this Glamour.com article, the new Lululemon Swim line is due out next week. Here is a sneak peek of the items. I’m loving the bikini bottoms.

Love, love the Porcelain Dance Studio Jacket. Although I did not feel tempted by the Porcelain x long CRB when I saw it in person. The color is lovely but it’s so similar to rocksteady that I didn’t feel the need to get it. Maybe if there is a heathered porcelain version I’ll get it. What I’d love to see is a lux scuba or Sing, Floss, Travel hoodie this year in Porcelain and Menthol. Especially since the Scuba’s have been discontinued until the fall. I’ll behave in the event that it does happen. 

 This CRB is so pretty. It’s definitely on the green side but it’s still a pastel. I think most pictures I’ve seen of it have been pretty true to life. It surprisingly layers over many different colors quite nicely.

The Daily Tank in Beachy Floral is quite pretty. I’m passing on it in favor of a porcelain version of the print and also would prefer an Every Yogi Tank over a CRB or Daily.

I decided to head to the mall today to check out the new Dance Studio Jacket in Porcelain which I’d already ordered online as well as the Heathered Menthol CRB. The jacket is a stunner in this color and I’m so glad I pounced on it. The Heathered Menthol CRB was really nice, I was surprised to like it actually. It’s 48% polyester which is one of the lower poly blended ones so it’s still quite soft. Anything over 48% and it gets that icky slick feeling that a lot of us dislike. While this CRB is not the softest ones like Heathered Paris Pink, Heathered Rose or Heathered Aquamarine, it is much softer than the Heathered Black Swan and Heathered Concord. My only negative about it doesn’t hide my unpleasant areas very well but I’m going to really like it layered over my Jacquard Mesh CRB which will give me a bit better coverage. Oh, and another surpise was the Fun In The Sun Shorts. I really liked the fit of them on me. The leg opening could be a bit bigger but I liked that it was higher rise and the pockets are actually really nice on a bigger. Since my quads are bigger the longest length is actually not that long on me and didn’t look matronly. I brought this one home but I think I’d like them in Fossil isntead.
