Fit Report DSJ vs DSJ III

* On the left in Black is the DSJ 2011 version and on the right in the new Plum colour is the DSJ III. The new DSJ III is a little bigger in fit (and very slightly shorter in length), so it doesn’t feel as streamlined but you will have a little more room (in the arms in particular), than whatever you tts is in the original DSJs (these are size 4). The Plum colour is nice irl but a hard colour to capture, since it seems to change shade depending on what light or what colour you have it next to.

* Verdict I already have three DSJs and I just don’t love the new version enough to justify keeping, so this will be going back to the store. BTW – if you are contemplating getting one, the Inkwell is a really nice colour. Enjoy the slide show and hope this helps out a little 

The Forme II has cuffins and 1.5″ approximately of extra body lenght. This one is a beauty!

Some website banner sneak peeks from Australia show the Ebb and Flows coming in Plum. I definitely would love to get those. Also a new striped Cool Racerback, Plum Will Pants/Crops and a Plum Swiftly. You can also check out the Dance Studio Jacket III product shops that were uploaded to Australia. I only see a change in design of the sleeve hem, thankfully. 

Yesterday I did a fit review of the Sea Check Multi Shake And Break Shorts and the popular opinion is that the print was a bit of a disaster on those shorts since they were multi directional so those are going back. I had a few requests to show the Midnight Iris version of the shorts which I’d decided to keep, so here they are. They are 4-way stretch, and have a zip pocket which fits my iphone very comfortably without weighing down the shorts (iphone is in my pocket in these pictures). The 4-way stretch version seems to not ride up up at all on me where as I think the 2-way stretch would ride up a bit as I walk. 

I’m also wearing my Plum Tuck And Flow Long Sleeve in Plum and I am totally in love with this top. I float between an 8 and a 10 in tops depending on style and how bloaty I’m feeling at the moment and I got the Tuck And Flow in an 8 mostly because that was the only size left, but I’m happy with the fit. I love that there are no athletic details such as venting or excessive reflective stripping or color blocking on this top. It’s just nice and soft RULU in a solid color. I also got the Angel Slolem Stripe one which initially I was hanging on to until I could find the Plum, but now I want to keep both.

I think this pullover could have been really chic with batwing sleeves and maybe a banded hem. I also think the seams at the sleeves (baseball seam) really accentuates the oversized shoulders in a bad way. Boo!
