Wunder Under Crops High Rise Coast Camo Print

These are on my maybe list. I’m glad they come in high rise/crop. I love the look of them but they are a tad busy and I’m not sure other than neutral colors what I’d pair with them.

Upload!!

by Cristina September 8, 2015
written by Cristina

Well that was a disappointing upload for both US and Canada but especially disappointing to Canada since we didn’t get the Stress Less Hoodie. That was pretty much the only item I had been waiting on other than miscellaneous Sapphire Blue items like Cool Racerbacks. I’m mildly tempted by the Bordeaux Drama Reflective Pace Rivals and the Sapphire Twist Pace Rivals but I’m not in need of run crops.

Did you order anything today?

New RULU Cool Racerback With Fabric Composition Details

by Cristina September 6, 2015
written by Cristina

I did a bad thing tonight and picked up the new Regal Plum Cool Racerback made out of RULU even though I already have the Regal Plum Cool Racerback made out of luon light and it’s NWT’s. My store actually had both the Cool Racerbacks in today in RULU and Luon Light Regal Plum but they were separated on the shelving. RULU was on the top shelf and the old version was below it. That’s how I noticed that the colors are slightly different and I was able to make a slight justification for purchasing the new one. Haha! I actually really wish it was a different color because I LOVE the RULU Cool Racerback but wish it was a new color I didn’t already have, or even a favourite color I already do have. I’ve been wanting a RULU Cool Racerback forever and I think I’ve blogged that every single fall when the RULU pullovers start appearing so even though I don’t love Regal Plum enough to want multiple items in it (it’s not in my top 10 colors), I’m really glad to finally have a RULU Cool Racerback. I’d freak if we saw a Sapphire version.

*I forgot to mention that Metrotown had a full run of black and white If You’re Lucky Long Sleeves in. If you are in Canada and want to order one from them their number is 604-430-4659.

The material feels the exact same as the new NULU which is simply RULU lined with Coolmax. I was curious to see if the NULU fabric composition (the outer RULU portion) matched up but it wasn’t a perfect match. The NULU is 81% Nylon and 19% Lycra Elastine while the RULU Cool Racerback is 87% Nylon 13% Lycra Elastine. Luon Light is 92% Nylon and 8%Lycra Spandex. Lycra Spandex and Lycra Elastane are the same product, it’s just with the luon light you have less of it so much less stretch. Luon Light Cool Racerback is made in Sri Lanka and the RULU one is made in Indonesia. I don’t think I’ve noticed any other Cool Racerbacks made in Indonesia so I wonder if they have a new factory up and running this year.

When I tried on the RULU Cool Racerback I loved it. It feels buttery soft and I really didn’t want to take it off. The one nit I have with it is that you can see the sheen of the lycra fibres over my bust which is where there is more fabric tension. This is not enough of a bother for me at all, just something I wanted to note for you. You may be bothered by that if you are larger busted than I am and get more visible lycra sheen. The Cool Raceraback was otherwise completely opaque.

Guest Fit Review: Tight Stuff Reflective Bordeaux Drama

by Cristina September 4, 2015
written by Cristina

Thank you so much to Ms. S for sending along a terrific fit review with photos of the new Tight Stuff Tight *Reflective in Bordeaux Drama. I’ve mentioned it in the comments before but I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it in a post but I welcome any reader who would like to contribute a fit review to the blog to be shared with the community. I like to watermark photos so that they don’t get republished on ebay or elsewhere so if you’d like to watermark your own photos please feel free to send me photos pre watermarked (make sure to place the watermark where it can’t easily be cropped out). If they are not watermarked I will just go ahead and do that before publishing using ‘lulumum’ but if you’d like me to write your name let me know.

Tight Stuff Tight *Reflective Bordeaux Drama

I just wanted to share some pics with you in case you wanted to post them – no big deal if you don’t! They’re of the new Tight Stuff Reflective tight in bordeaux, which I don’t think we’ve seen pics of yet. After all my pet peeving about how the bordeaux and gold were too close to school/sports teams colors, I went and ordered them anyway LOL. And I’m so glad I did.

I ordered a size 6 which is what I wear in Wunder Unders and Speed tights (I do size down to a 4 in seamless tights and some styles like Pace Rival Crops/Inspire crops, but I am very glad I didn’t size down to a 4 in these because they would’ve been too tight). I’m not gonna lie – I broke a sweat getting these things on! My thighs are usually the problem area, but I found these particularly tough to get up over my feet and calves. They seem to fit looser for me at the waist, but I have the drawstring should that become a problem.

I complained about the price tag on these because I thought it was mainly due to reflectivity, but now that I see how different the material is on these, I can see some justification for a higher price (though I still think $148 is tough to swallow). I am IN LOVE with the matte finish and the genuinely tight feel on these. I recently bought the Vent It Out crops in black, and they have the same finish/feel, although they have a contrasting mesh panel. I highly recommend those as well.

HTH! Let me know if you have any questions.

Cranberry Circadian SS Tee

by Cristina September 3, 2015
written by Cristina

I got this Heathered Cranberry Circadian SS Tee on Monday and it is gorgeous! If you wear camo or herringbone bottoms, (as long as you don’t hate red) you need this tee. It’s been forever since Lululemon has put out a colored cotton tee.
