My Lululemon Warehouse Sale 2017 Picks

Heads up! Lululemon has confirmed that there will be an online warehouse sale tonight! This is an unprecedented and bold move competing with the Amazon Prime Sale and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale which starts tonight at 12am PST. I don’t plan to make any purchases but I will be watching it very closely just in case – plus I will be staying up late for the Nordstrom sale anyways.

If you are subscribed to my email list (up on the navbar), I will attempt to send an email alert as soon as I see that the upload is live.

Lululemon Online Warehouse Sale 2017

The Lululemon Online Warehouse Sale 2017 confirmation.

Thanks to reader and commenter ‘CT’ for sharing these pictures in regards to the Dance Studio Crop vs. Dance Studio Crop II discussion.

Dance Studio Crop vs. Dance Studio Crop II Dance Studio Crop vs. Dance Studio Crop II

    1. No, there is no private registration. Lululemon GEC and some stores just started trickling out hints to shoppers and then as word caught on people started messaging the GEC to confirm, which they did. They will probably send out an email hours after the sale goes live, as they do, and probably not till sometime tomorrow morning. If you sign up for my newsletter I will send out an email alert (my standard upload one) as soon as I see that it’s live.

        1. At the top of the page, go to the ‘Follow’ menu. On that menu select ‘Get the email’. And then you just fill out the contact form.

  1. I always get so irked at the start times for these kinds of things. Midnight’s no big deal if you’re on the west coast but as an east coaster I’m not going to stay up or get up at 3am to shop, which means I often miss the really good stuff. I wish they’d pick a start time that was equally inconvenient for all time zones lol.

    1. I agree, the time of the upload is idiotic. I am on PST and I still don’t see myself staying up until after midnight to buy LLL clothing. some of us have jobs we need to go to early in the morning. I find it very disrespectful on LLL part.

  2. Woo! Great intel, thanks so much! Currently 8 months pregnant and I need lots of things in bigger sizes lol.

  3. Hi everybody! This is my first time trying to buy from the online warehouse sale. How do I access the site? Is it different than the regular Lululemon site?

  4. Thanks for the heads up. I stayed up to check it out and nothing new besides what was already on WMTM for maybe a little less. So lame.

    1. I think you’re right: it’s less than there was on WMTM. There were over 200 items on WMTM, but only 159 on the warehouse sale. They added some, but I think they also removed some. I’ve been considering getting a Marvel Swiftly, so I’ve been watching those, hoping my size would get restocked, but they’re missing. There were 4 different colors of LS Swiftly on WMTM, but now none are listed, so I think they’ve been removed.

Prices are exactly the same, the only plus is the addition of a few colors of CRB I and some swim stuff and accessories. I didn’t log on in the first 3 hours, so maybe I missed some good stuff, but it seems like a non-event.

      1. You missed nothing. I was looking at it about 5 minutes after in went live and there was nothing good IMO. It’s exactly as you said. Total bummer!

  5. 105 singlets went UP in price from $29 to $39! Men’s pants seem to be a better deal. There’s $29 pants –too bad my guy needs tall

  6. I looked and looked, and I can find anything interesting. Only mildly tempted by the floral FTB and one of the swim tops, but not enough to check out. I would’ve bought a pair of Shape shorts, but they are the same price as they were on WMTM.

You’d think they’d want to clear out all the crap that’s been on WMTM for several months by dropping prices, but I think they are going to try slapping “warehouse” on the prices and see if people jump on it. I’ll bet they’ll be some reductions as the days go on.

    1. I noticed that too. What’s their excuse – increased order volume from the stampede of customers falling for the “insider sale” marketing hype when there’s hardly any new inventory? Less, in fact, than was on WMTM? SMH.

  7. I got a couple of 105 singlets and tech mesh tanks. On the men’s side, they had some nice pants for $29, so I got my hubby 3 pairs of different pants. That was a great deal. Why can’t we ever get pants for $29?

Are the embrace the space pant a size up? I know LLM loves hers so I was thinking of getting a pair. Generally I size up for joggers but I was wondering if I should size up twice for a looser fit.

    1. Did you end up buying the embrace the space pants? In my experience the jackets in that fabric ran big and I sized down 1 size. I don’t think you’d want to size up in the pants. I’m debating what size to get. I like the way LLM’s fit her but I can’t find if she sized down or not. I’m a TTS 6, so not sure if I should get a 6 or 4.

      1. LLM said she stayed TTS because they stretch a bit. I bought my TTS in joggers which is size 6. They went down in price. Now, they are $44.

  8. If you look at the tab under warehouse sale it says three days of sales. Maybe they are putting up new stuff each day?

  9. Well there are less items than before and no great price reductions than before BUT yes there is one new (old) item on there that I just couldn’t believe was there DANCE STUDIO CROPS!!! The originals, not the horrible Studio Crops they brought out last year that were a joke and all the other horrible iterations that just didn’t measure I could not believe my eyes, I had to zoom in on the pictures to make sure they were truly the good old DSC’s from the past. I bought one pair then 10 minutes later I went back and bought another pair and then went back another 10 minutes later and bought a pair for my daughter so I needed up with 3 pairs. These were one of the first classics that were discontinued and was the reason I first contacted GEC to find out what the deal was and was then directed to Hey Lululemon to voice my utter shock and disappointment. I think I am still in shock that after all these years of mourning the loss of these wonderfully comfortable crops I was able to get my hands on a few more pairs to add to the other 2 pair I own. I am one happy happy girl right now.

      1. Yes I am in Canada and I went online just minutes after it started and there they were, I couldn’t believe my eyes! I also saw them this morning but I checked just now and they are gone.

            1. I know I zoomed in as close as I could to get a good look and they look identical to my mine and I don’t know if mine are originals or ll’s but I do know I love them. All I know is they haven’t been able to replace them with anything better. I haven’t heard anyone else talk about buying them so was it a figment of my imagination ? I do have confirmation emails but until those babies show up on my doorstep I won’t truly believe it.

              1. I was able to zoom in for the rear view of the crops and they had the elasticized seam down the back of the legs and the hem was loose with the drawstring which are the originals now that I think of it but they were called ll’s so WTH? I know what I saw and if that’s not what I get then I will return them. Could that be why they disappeared so quickly? Wrong pictures or wrong name???

              2. OK upon further investigating this is what I have figured out regarding the Dance Studio Crops (original or ll’s)? Above Christina has a picture of the crops in her 8 picks that she took from the warehouse sale pics and those areoriginals confirmed when I googled Dance Studio Crop and there is a link to Dance Studio Crop ll LLL website that shows the DSC ll’s but the black pair are shown in the pictures as the originals not the ll’s, how freaking weird is this? That’s all the proof I need to return them if I somehow get the ll’s and not the originals, false advertising!

                1. I really hope you get the original ones. Last night those caught my eye and they where the only thing I almost ordered. I ended up not ordering because there was just too much at the NSALE, but if you get them and they are the originals let me know. Maybe I can hunt them down later.

                  1. I have a strong feeling they are ll’s and they didn’t sell out but were pulled when they realized the snafu of showing pictures of the originals. I will definitely let you know. I did send you an email showing pictures they used in advertising the ll’s showing the black as originals.

                    1. Some nwt up on ebay already, guessing warehouse sale flips, and they are the II’s. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you will be getting the II’s.

                  2. Hi Christina, I received my warehouse purchase of the 3 Dance Studio Crops today and thought you would like to know that I got the ORIGINALS!!!
Not only are these the real deal but they fit identically to my other originals and I am in heaven. Two new black pairs for me and one for my daughter. The tag on them says Dance Studio Crops, not 11’s. That was the most crazy confusing order I have ever made and I am so thankful that it worked out in my favour. THANK YOU to whoever at LLL that found these and put them up online for sale. It would have nice however if they had been titled properly so other people who love these would have bought them but didn’t due to the incorrect wording of the product. I am so thankful when I went online at 1:05a.m. to check out the sale that I didn’t focus on the product name having ll’s in it and just looked at the pictures and bought them. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

                2. Wouldn’t be the first time Lulu had one title of an item and a picture of another. Usually it’s the title that wins out and that’s the item it ends up being. It’s happened before (trying to remember on what and I can’t). The item was one thing and the picture was an older version. It was the item, not the picture that I got.

  10. Lululemon thinks we are a bunch of morons! “Let’s call WMTM a warehouse sale and offer slower shipping, they won’t be able to tell it’s a ruse because they are dumb AF.”

  11. Lulumum! we need a like option for your blog, agree with so many comments above!! WMTM disguised as a warehouse sale. super underwhelmed 🙁

  12. Huge letdown, the prices aren’t any lower than usual and it’s basically the same stuff that’s been on there for months.

  13. Wow, has Lulu done crappy warehouse sales like this before? I remember a few years back the prices were much more reduced and they brought out items that hadn’t ever hit the stores. This just seems like the usual WMTM items that have been languishing in unsold purgatory for ages, and I’m shocked to hear they actually raised the price on some items! The barely reduced prices really aren’t making anything tempting. Is this yet another sign of Lulu’s diminishing quality or have they been this bad in the past and I just didn’t notice?

That said, I did nab an original CRB in cut back stripe white linen since that’s a print I haven’t seen in WMTM before. But that’s it.

    1. agree. I don’t know why they bother anymore. Just put the damn things on regular WMTM since the prices are the same. I guess they think us stupid! I am not going to go buy something just because it says it is warehouse sale.

      1. I remember being underwhelmed by the warehouse sale last time around. I had a gift card to spend, but I only found a couple of bras and a tee to buy. I remember clearly since I ordered the bras in my TTS, but they were tiny when I received them (at least a full size smaller) and I exchanged them at the store for different ones.

I think the problem here is that their product has been underwhelming for a good year now. So, it automatically makes for a crappy sale. I didn’t like the product 6-8 months ago, and I’m not buying it even at slightly reduced prices. In fact, there are very few things on there I’d buy at a deep discount.

    2. The last warehouse sale was underwhelming as well. But in 2015 and the one beforehand there was some good stuff marked well. Like Miss Misty’s for $59 which kept dropping, FTB bras for $19, visors/hats $9. The last 2 have been WMTM with a different title.

I think many of the items on their now are becoming more of a made for factory or made for outlet only. Like all the outlets of other brands our. There’s too many items that haven’t been seen in regular stores or on the website that hit WMTM or hit the outlet stores. Cheapens the brands IMO when you go to the made for just the factory model.

  14. Underwhelmed. I was on about 10 mins after live and there isn’t much difference this morning Got shibori energy bra and black sculpt shorts.

  15. I agree with everyone else here. I don’t know how to say it other than I feel insulted. There, I said it. Yes, it is the company’s right to set whatever prices they might want to. But don’t play with the words, just call it as is. This is not a warehouse sale, it is just a regular WMTM. Hyping it up it’s not going to work. People get excited, they stay up late (when they have to be at work the next day) and then they are let down. Shame on you LLL for being so unprofessional. Stop playing these stupid games.

  16. I don’t know why everybody is so upset. It’s been ages since Lululemon had good mark down prices, or since they were worth staying up late for. Anybody who stayed up expecting anything different is living in the past. I went to bed like normal (truth be told, I actually forgot about the sale until this morning) and perused the meagre offerings over breakfast. I wasn’t surprised at all to see that there was little difference between the warehouse sale and regular WMTM. I was pleased to see a few of my favourite staples on for decent prices: I bought a Power Y, an energy bra, and a CRB in nice colours. That’s fine with me.

    1. I think in the past the warehouse sales had much deeper discounts. I had to go on a spending freeze for a few years so the last time I shopped a warehouse sale was 2014, but that year I picked up several tanks for $29 that were regularly $58! To me that’s a great discount. By comparison, the same tank had been $44 on WMTM several weeks before. I think that’s the kind of deeper discounts people were expecting and that’s why they feel let down. Obviously Lulu has no obligation to continue their traditions of the past, but this sure is a great way to alienate loyal customers who remember how things used to be (as if the bad designs, discontinuing of core designs, and quality issues haven’t already done that). As I said in a previous post, I don’t know if things started to change before since I didn’t bother browsing Lulu when I couldn’t spend money there, but many of us long-term fans can’t help but live in the past and remember how much better the company and their products used to be.

      1. I think the problem is you could have purchased those same staples (with the exception of a few colors) at the exact same price on WMTM a few days or even a week ago. That’s why people are upset.

Also, if you are lucky enough to live by an outlet, they’ve had all this stuff for weeks at deeper discounts. I bought 105 and tech mesh singlets for $19 last weekend. Bras were also $19. All Ivivva was onsale for $14 a piece. I guess the outlet is making me jaded.

        1. Alas I don’t live close to an outlet so don’t have the benefit of that perspective. I guess the reason that I don’t bother to get upset is that I have such low expectations for Lululemon these days. I don’t expect exceptional quality and I don’t expect particularly good bargains anymore. I can only hope that the few things that I bought don’t disappoint too terribly.

      1. I agree with everything that you’ve said. I’m also a long-term fan, but (like all of us long-term fans) have noticed a big shift in the target demographic, aesthetic, and marketing practices over the past few years. It’s hard to pin-point exactly when it started but it has been in progress for several years now. At this stage I feel like the company bears little resemblance to the one that I was so smitten with years ago, so I don’t have any great expectations that anything will ever live up to my memories. Tech Fleece half-zip for $50? That will never happen again.

    1. A friend gave me a pair of the men’s black luon sweatpants in a small and they fit okay. Her husband decided he didn’t like them, and he’d already popped the tags and tossed the receipt, haha. I usually wear a 6 in Lulu. A little loose in the legs, but overall fine. They are more for super casual wear.

  17. Wow i was so happy with 29 energy bras …espec bonbon…i got 5 colours. I got 2 of the 29 tech singlet and wup in fushia mosaic print as well as serene bra in arrow print. I declined the speed crops but got 8 pair of 29 joggers for guys…hope they are swift fabric lol. I am glad there wasnt more to buy lol. I think some get deals from angels at outlets and would have already seen or bought these items…i know tech singlet was a big angel item last month. Even if they were 19…by time you add in shipping $4 and. Fee $5…it works out to same and no risk of mail being lost. Im happy…i usually pay full price….

    1. I bought a lot of stuff for my hubby because the pricing was better. I ended up getting a few tech singlets. I missed out on the energy bras. I was so tired last night that I didn’t check out. This morning they were sold out. Oh, well! They’ll be other sales.

  18. “For a limited time, the gear you love is on sale. We want everyone to find their favourites, so there’s a 25 item limit per day. Heads up, it’s yours for keeps, so no returns and no exchanges.” I read that and laughed at the 25 item limit. These prices aren’t good enough to really justify limiting stock.

    1. So funny considering the ‘fill a bag’ deals they give to angels at the outlets. Your typical customer can’t buy more than 25 items, but if you are in business, you can get $7000-$10000 in merch and have your bags carried to your car for you.

      1. Interestingly, when I went to the outlet for the first time, they didn’t mention a 25 item limit. There were a lot of things on the men’s side my hubby wanted (he’s new to LLL because of me — never knew about it and now he’s hooked) and I was shopping for some friends, I must have purchased 50 items. No one said a word to me. My friends are my size so everything was the same size. I’d assume angels purchase in all sizes.

    2. This is a joke considering there is no limit to the amount of full priced items someone can buy with the 25% discount.

  19. Yawn. I was going to order an Energy Bra, but I forgot to do it and now my size is gone. Oh well. I’m not all that heartbroken.

I too was hoping to at least see some further markdowns on things that have been sitting in WMTM for weeks now. I guess Lulu isn’t in a hurry to get rid of it yet.

  20. The only thing I got was a Pigment Blue power Y, because I love pigment! It’s defn. in my top three fav. colors lulu has brought out. That was a gem for me.

  21. I appreciate the heads-up from both Cristina and LLA on this sale. I did not stay up at all (EDT) and did not expect great items nor deeply discounted prices. I sort of half remembered this morning and while there were a few gems, it did not surprise me that it was as it was.

My LLL puchasing has well waned for 3+ years now; I barely buy anything but I still stay informed, mainly from a business point of view and since I have followed the brand for so long. I ended up with a few CRB 1’s and FTB bras, all at $29.00, which is the former wmtm/md price they used to sell them for. Good enough for me given that the CRB 1 is out of regular production (and I cannot stand the CRB2), and I love the FTB bras still. I still have a few favourites if I can get them for not too bad a discount, but I had no expectation that this sale would be great or something to rave about. I don’t obsess about this brand at all anymore.

I’m also with Violet, I don’t get why some people are being dramatic/upset. If you expect LLL to change direction now, back to better quality and lower prices, and offer some phenomenal warehouse sale, it isn’t going to happen. They have their plan and their stubborn sticking points on prices (i.e. old regular full price is the new wmtm price) and apparently they find it is working for them. God knows a whole lot of ugly patterned, overly boxy, overly monochromatic (and I love the classic colours myself) not nicely designed or thoughtfully detailed, lower quality items languish away on wmtm. One would think they would just cut all of that to rock bottom to get rid of it, but clearly not. It would seem that they need every dime they can get and they are trying to find that sweet spot for the consumer who will pay it – and certainly the consumer who doesn’t really know great LLL used to be but goes for the logo and the high price. I really do not think that is turning out to be a winning formula for them but we shall see. The lack of quality, detail, and distinction in the brand now really undermines it. Those of us who have followed the brand know it’s just not that great a brand anymore. I just use my common sense that it’s cool for me to move on and not to expect too much from them. (I definitely do not get excited by releases like the Taryn Toomey stuff. Sure, pretty colours but too fragile, impractical, and overpriced.)

    1. I don’t think anyone is acting dramatic and upset. People are just continuing to get irritated by Lululemon’s chosen path. That’s valid.

    2. I totally agree with everything said by Anon 5:12pm. I doubt we will ever see the quality to detail and design that put LLL on the map and built a reputation and fan base unparalleled and envied by their competitors. I do agree with Emily that what I am reading here is not dramatic but rather people calling it the way they see it and that is this is a joke of a “warehouse sale” and just when I think LLL can’t do anything more to outdo their last stupid move they up and prove me wrong. As much as I have come to terms that LLL is not and will not ever be what it once was I too can’t help from getting irritated (and that’s putting it mildly) at their bonehead decisions. How can they send out emails promoting an “Insider Sale”, “warehouse sale” only to significantly drop the number of items for sale, up the prices of some items, fail to offer warehouse pricing and not think customers won’t get offended? Right now the UK who is not having an “Insider Sale or Warehouse Sale” has substantially more product on WMTM with a better selection of older product and they have had for weeks now. How does this make sense, not to mention LLL on Ebates is now zero percent! They couldn’t even keep the measly 1% for their so-called warehouse sale.

  22. I thought everyone should know. I noticed that the price dropped (some items by $30 (men’s)) on a few warehouse sale items (they still had most of the sizes). I called GEC and they did a price adjustment for me, including 2 items I purchased a day before the warehouse sale. The wait is lone (about 35 minutes) but I saved $100. The prices dropped on the men’s side too!

They can’t give back the credit until the items ship but you should call and have them note your account. That way as soon as you receive shipping notice you can call back and the ed can do the price adjustment. They can do gift card or credit back to your original payment method.

  23. Ebates is 0 on .com but did you notice that wmtm can be returned…search lululemon coupons…on left side of screen click on the relevant coupon and read what they are saying….i printed it off to take with me to store for any returns i may need to do. Eds probably dont know about it. I ordered 8 bras lol…and another 2 pair tights….to add to one from yesterday…and tech tights…lol and 8 pair mens pants. I thought these items i bought were fairly priced. If you are used to deep discounts from outlets then these prices would not appeal to you. I got speed crops too when my size reappered…lol fomo.

    1. Thanks for the heads up. I printed it as well in case some items don’t work out. But I bought items that I knew would most likely fit. Only iffy item was the in-form short. I thought I’d try it because I like the shaped short and on the fly short so much.

  24. Based on recent orders that I received, I want to share some information on the bras (specifically FTB and Energy) that are being offered on WMTM. Some of the colors seem like they were possibly “made for WMTM” because the inner lining of the bra is a different color than the outside and straps. I’m used to the inner lining matching on Lulu bras, so this is either new or a cost-saving measure. I noticed this on the Berry Rumble and Angel Wing FTB and Lakeside, Pink Mist (may have that name wrong) and the dark blue (can’t recall the name) Energy. The inner lining is a beige color (black in the case of the dark blue Energy). I’m curious if others noticed this and what theories you have.

  25. It’s just silly that they do the same restock every day. What’s the point of having items go out of stock and bringing them back the next day?

    1. Exactly…plays on fomo. I think its clever on their part. And it gives me a night or 2 to decide if i really want the item.
