This is a new accessory at the Lululemon Lab. Interesting. It reminds me of the friendship bracelets I used to make when I was 10. Anyhoo, I don’t wear much for accessories but for those of you who do this is pretty cool. I think I like the smaller one better.

Just a warning if you haven’t tried on any of the modern racer tanks yet. This is a little bit thin and see-throughy so may show underwear lines and in my case really highlighted a bit of love handle over my undies. I think the white is cute for a beach cover up but be warned that this shows and maybe highlights imperfections. Definitely try this on with what you plan on wearing under it before you commit.
I can wear the modern tank layered, or with a Flow Y bra but definitely not with any other type of bra.

Lot’s of new things being uploaded. The goodies I like are the new swiftly tank and short sleeves in Angel Blue, Potion Purple and Savage Green. Also the 5yr tshirt in Potion (love) and the Modern tank potion purple (love but not getting). The Run: Zoom Singlet and Run: Pep tank are cute as well but those are maybe later’s for me. I dislike the Stow and Go Jacket because it’s so see through and for me a stow and go jacket is too impractical with kids…don’t have time to roll that sucker up to put it away and there is no room left in my bag for it so what’s the point. Plus it’s so light I can’t drape it over the buggy handle because it would just fly away.
I was able to get my wants this week in store and through GEC. The Potion Purple 5yr, the Angel Blue Swiftly t-shirt and my knotted Wunder Unders from yesterday. Some new little thing may have enticed me like some cute socks but really I was not looking at getting anything today.
My maybe laters are the Run: Zoom singlet, Pep Tank, the Knotty T (yes I do like it, particularly the front) and the Gather Dance Strap tank (not the bra!). I think it’s just time for some new colors and maybe a little but of pattern.
I just got off the phone with GEC not too long ago and I was so happy because I finally got ahold of some SE Knotted Wunder Unders which have been out of my size online (checked this morning) and I’ve been hunting for them for the longest time. Such a sense of accomplishment. Well, I just logged online and all of a sudden they have my size in this. That just took the joy right out of my hunt. Oh well, I’m so glad I finally got them because they are so cute on. Tried the 8 at Oakridge and was so tempted to just grab that one as it fit fine except for the muffin top. This is going to look so cute with my Bliss Tank or my Goddess Tank from the lab.
This is my little reward for having lost 10lbs as of yesterday.

I was looking in my closet yesterday for a hoodie to grab as it was pouring rain yesterday and just needed something a tad warm and snugly to wear. I realized that my first pick is always my Free2Be and not my much coveted Lux. Why? well, I think as soft and silky as it is the high maintenance of Beechlu/Modal and the concern over getting pills on it is what turns me off of wearing it. Once something gets slightly pilly I just don’t like wearing it anymore because it looks too sloppy and because it’s slightly rougher. Yes I know I just got the fabric shaver but that is more for my luon pants to keep them looking sharp.
I also like the fit better of the Free2be. it’s more relaxed in the neck and chest area but has a more feminine look around the waist. That being said, today is another rainy day and Free2be Angel Blue is in the wash so I’m going to force myself to wear the Lux and try to keep my arms from rubbing my torso so that I don’t get pilly.
ps. Spain lost today but will ultimately win the world cup.
I ended up able to stop in at the Metrotown Lululemon store after accomplishing some errands in order to try on the Gather Dance Strap Bra for my loyal readers ;D I’m very sorry to disappoint because these bra’s have such great potential for layering, especially for someone like me who just can’t handle the warmth of layering over a tank in winter let alone summer. This bra at a size 10 was as I suspected more like a 6, barely an 8. While the band didn’t feel too tight around the ribs, the boobs were hanging out of the top and bottom with an ugly pancake effect. Horrible, just horrible. I don’t understand why Lululemon is making these bras with zero cup coverage. This has nothing to do with being a larger size or a smaller size, the cups just don’t work for anyone size b+ and over. another thing I didn’t care for in this bra was that the straps were so short that the back went up in a big upside down V. The tank version of this has longer straps that don’t do that to me at all. It’s so odd that I can wear this tank in a size 10 and it look good on but then they make the bra version which is supposedly just the top part of this tank and it does not work at all. Big fail for this one.
I also tried on the Savage Green Lulu crops and they were a pass as they made me look like a leprechaun. The Classic Sport Grey and Angel Striped one was nice and if you have that Flashback Jacket it would look very cute together.
I likey but in another color I think. Love the hood. But WHY a Remix style in weight? This is a Sneak Peak I guess so maybe it’s for fall. OK, the color is growing on me. Maybe I can be brave enough to wear this. But I think it looks really hot with blond hair.

Metrotown has the new colors for the lulu crops and pants. I’ve decided against making a trip for the Savage Green crops mostly because I’m not sure I would wear them all that often and it would be hard for me to match with my other colors except for white, black and heathered grey.

Colours: SVGN, BLK, HCLG/LAV, HCHR, CSGY/ANGL, POPR, BLBD, PASS/ HCWE
Oooh I like this one. But again it just goes to size 10. Now what on earth does breast size have to do with “athletic shaped guests more in line with our target”. I don’t get that at all. Plenty of size 4’s can have bigger breast sizes and if this is anything like the layer me bra the size 10 is more like an 8 or a 6. This is a moderate support bra made of Luon, comes in Angel, White and Black.
