For those of you interested in seeing these on your next shopping trip.
I’ve mentioned in a post bellow that I’m in the market for a new pair of warm sweatpants to replace my Lulu’s but my preference are the Dance Studio Pants and the Fireside. The Fireside wins out at this point because of the sale price and the ability to wear them with winter boots tucked in.

Lot’s of goodies today. I’m so glad I don’t have to go back to a store to buy a pullover. I ended up grabbing two pullovers (lolo and black) to try on at home and I’ll return one of them. I also got the Senorita Pink Ear Warmers because I love the Static Wave Stripe One I already got and will likely use these a lot as both ear warmers and larger head bands. I was tempted by the Dance Sweat Pants in Amazon and the Personal Best Skirt but I really want to try the skirt on in store to see the length and also have a color choice between the pink and the Lolo/Oasis Plaid.
I notice the Modern V Neck Tee in the print is lighter (ash contrast) than the long sleeve which is darker and more subtle (coal contrast). I much prefer the darker one as it doesn’t look like leopard print and is even more subdued in person.
I’ve decided that the mesh CRB does look like club wear in the black.
And some cute arm warmers that I was also tempted by but don’t need. The picture bellow shows the detailing of the Cross Train crops. I like the contrast color at the thigh but some of you are worried that it cuts off your legs and makes them look shorter. I personally like that it looks like a hamstring muscle bursting out from all that hill running.
Thursdays Upload Wishes and Predictions + And That Inspire Crop Fit Review I Promised
So I did my 8km run today at the dumbest time possible (3pm in a school zone). Otherwise a great run as I had hydrated all day and my kids have been driving me especially bananas and I was anxious to get away for a bit and burn off some steam. Up all night with the little one who has also decided to have 8 poops today (so far!) so I thought it would be a crap run but, no, I was pretty spectacularly fast with my short little legs.
I wore my Lolo Swiftly along with my new Inspire Crops in a size 8. There was slight slippage for the first few minutes but much, much less than I ever got with my Run: With it’s. I think slippage is just a fact of life for me and due to my higher rise, I get that with all running pants of all brands (I do occasionally cheat on Lululemon ;p) I love the rise on these pants and didn’t need to tie the elastic to keep them up like I’d been doing with my other crops. The length was perfect for a colder day but today was actually warmer than it has been so I felt pretty warm in these but I’ll be glad to have the length in a few weeks or even days. Compression on the lower legs was pretty nice and so was the reduced bum bounce. When these pants first came out I wasn’t crazy about the back seam details, especially in the coal version, but I’ve decided I don’t mind that very much in the black. I love the color combination with the static waist and lolo details and I also love the back zip pocket. I think the only thing that would make these an A+ would be a reflective zipper or detail somewhere.

Note on the Personal Best skirt. I’ve been told by a reader that she purchased one today and the tag had a “resticker” price tag on it. Original price on this was $68 and then they decided to release it at $54 which is a good thing. She mentioned that the length is on the more modest side and she stayed TTS which was the same length as the next size up. The color code is OOMP/LOLP (Oasis Omber Plaid & Lolo Purple) and it looked super cute on. I really love the little curved flower petal shaped detailing at the waist.
A couple of different Canadian readers mentioned markdowns of Fall items that have recently been released such as the Track and Field Jacket ($99) Fireside Pants, Polocross Pants and Community Pants. I may pick up the Fireside pants when I see them as I was planning on doing anyways.

Here is a picture of the SE Mesh Cool Racerback in Black. I’m not decided on it yet. If I had a really great back tattoo like Oli at the lab does than I would be all over this tank.
**Hmmm, this may not be the CRB…has anyone seen the back of it and can confirm this?

Ok, down to this Thursday Upload business. I think we can all pretty much assume that we’ll see the Inspire Pullovers tomorrow. If not than something must be delayed with Lululemons Canada shipment because I don’t think this is good strategy to be pissing everyone off. I think we’ll see the Swell Jacket, Personal Best Items, Cross Train Crops, Modern V Neck Long Sleeves. We Canadians have seen a lot of new items in online albums but not in stores so I’m thinking this will be another website first release just like we saw with the Fireside Items when they first came out. I’m getting 1 Inspire Pullover (i’ve waited too long and now the passion has fizzled and I’m making myself chose just one color), Brisk Ear Warmers in Senorita Pink and I think that’s all. I may be tempted buy a swiftly long sleeve as I do love those but I don’t need multiple colors of items I already have as I wash my run gear the second I get home before I even shower, lest the dreaded stink set in. Anyways, I have a long sleeve in Lagoon in size 12 which is pretty big on me so if someone wants to buy it let me know, I’ll gladly replace it with a new color and size ;p. I have a feeling we may also see new surprise items, like maybe a new run tank. I need to stay focused on my purchases tomorrow because I’m saving up for my Anthropologie Boots. What are you guys hoping to see and planning on getting?
SE Cool Racerback with Mesh back. It’s hard to tell with this picture because Senorita Pink seems to look fluorescent at times but the entire back is mesh. I don’t think I like this in a CRB mostly because I wouldn’t wear this out for a run in the Fall (Bikrams, Yes) and I’m not sure I would like the look of a Flow Y under it. It would also depend on the amount of stretch the mesh has but if it’s like the mesh in the Flow Y’s I’m not sure it would be that comfortable. As always though, I’m willing to give it a try in the store.

Effortless Pants. These are ok enough but I’m in the market for a pair of cottony sweatpants to replace my Lulu Pants and I prefer the look of the Dance Sweat Pants (amazon) and The Fireside Pants. I’ll probably go with the Fireside pants because i’ve heard today that there starting to hit markdown and I tried them on the other day and quite liked the look of them with the skinny legs that can get tucked into winter boots.

Brisk Ear Warmers. CUTE! I love my Ear Warmers that I got last week and actually have been using it as a thicker headband worn past my ears on those cold rainy days we’ve had. I think I may pick this up in Senorita Pink and maybe another color as well as it’s proven to be quite useful.

Is the pink too “barbie dollish”? I’m now second guessing this color for me. Sheesh, why is it so hard. Although for visibility it’s great.

Run Cross Train Pants. Cute, love the length, love the contrasting static but the mesh doesn’t work for me.

Heathered Black Run: Inspire Pullover. I’ve only seen a few pictures of this on so happy to get a few more up.

And a lovely lady on facebook posted a great picture of the same Inspire Pullover. I’m having a pretty tough time deciding what I’m going to do if it shows up online tomorrow.
Senorita Swiftly Tee

Run: Personal Best Singlet. I love a lot of things about this top and would like to see this design rejigged a bit. Love the front seam details bellow the bust, the contrast luxtreme details, the cinchable drawcord, and the color but I dislike the twisted back and I don’t love the silverescent circle mesh knit.

Hope your not tiring of seeing these pictures but I’m someone who needs to see various pictures of a color when I don’t get to see it in person before I decide. I’m preparing myself to have to order it if it pops up in the upload tomorrow before it hits stores.
*I’m updating pictures here as they come up.
Is this a new amphipod belt in pink? I’m needing to replace my hydration belt for something less abrasive and bouncy. What are your thoughts on the amphipods?

And one shot of the Swell jacket in Coal and Oasis. I like this jacket but I it’s not something I need or am in love with.

And more pictures with the Inspire Pullover paired with the Cross Train Crops

Senorita Pink Inspire Crops paired with the Run: Recharge Tank in Senorita Pink on a fellow short statured lady. I love being short sometimes because it gives me the option of hiking up my crops or pulling them down. Just saying, it’s not all bad.
Does anyone know if the Coal Luxtreme shows sweat much? I reader from a few posts down is wondering.

Fit Review Personal Pictures – Modern V LS, Inspire Crops, Swiftly Tee and SE Scuba
Back by popular demand, personal fit reviews. This top picture is the newest print of the Modern V Neck Long Sleeve Coal/BKFP. I’ve decided that I like this print very much and wont be on the look out for a newer better color. I’m wearing a Free to Be bra underneath which is low cut and as you can tell the cleavage in this top is not so bad when you size down. I got this in a size 6 and the sleeves and body length are still on the long side.
This is the other long sleeve that I saw yesterday with the side panels in grey. I really don’t like the contrast panels.
This picture shows the rise on the Inspire Crops which are higher rise than my Run: With It Crops. As you can see here it creates a bit of muffin top but not enough to bother me. I prefer a slightly higher rise so that I don’t show plumbers but when I run and so that I feel more tucked in. I got this in a size 8 and I’m glad now that I’ve been wearing these all morning that I didn’t go with a size 6. I’ll be running in them this afternoon so i’ll update on this post how they’ve held up.
The newest Swiftly Tee in Lolo Purple which I love. Got it in a 10 because the 8 showed too much muffin top to wear with jeans. I think this is my favourite Swiftly color so far. You can also see here the length of the crops on my 5″4, short legs. This is how they sit naturally but I can pull them down so they touch my socks or I can hike them up a little bit. Either way works.
Close up of the Lolo Siwftly and my matching chipped nail polish. Chi – Knight in Shining Armour, in case you were wondering.
And my new SE Scuba Hoodie which I love. Got this in an 8 and it feels really comfortable.
