Not a big product drop this morning but I did check out the Run: Rise And Shine Pullover in person today. I couldn’t try one on but I did feel them and they are really thin luon light RULU so the lighter colors may have sheerness issues. Otherwise they are super soft and really cute. I think we may see the Frond Swiftly LS, SS and SL uploaded tonight and hopefully the Bang Busters in Frond since my store hasn’t gotten the headbands in yet.

I feel bitter every time I see this Mellow Lemon Street To Studio Jacket because as much as I love it, it’s to fricken short. 

My store got the Frond Swiftly SL (not the SS or the LS) and I was quite surprised at how saturate the color looked in person. I hadn’t even thought about getting a swiftly in this color but seeing it in person I am tempted. Passed on the SL however because it is ridiculously short. What is going on here??? Some US stores got the Gros Gingham Frond Speed Shorts in today and Frond Bang Busters but my store didn’t get those in. 

Frond/White Ocean Stripe Cool Racerback. I just got mine and like it enough to keep it, but have a few nits with it. It’s 56% polyester. Not a crazy amount…but why? The fit is on the big side, its not super slick like some polyester CRB’s though so I can live with it, but the added polyester makes the white portions more sheer than they need to have been.  Another thing that bugs me is that the stripes at the neck and at the sleeves and at the armholes don’t match up with the stripe in the body. Why? Such a obvious detail that takes away from the print. Why not just edge it in solid Frond instead of having a chopped up stripe?

This morning I had tried on the Street To Studio Jacket and brought one home, but I’m leaning towards returning it due to the length. I do love the yellow though so I’m having a hard time deciding on it. Tonight I  ordered the Frond White Ocean Stripe Cool Racerback which I think is really cute. What did you guys order tonight? Anything? Kind of a dull upload. 

this new Studio To Surf Jacket really reminds me of the old Half Moon Jacket from summer 2010. It was a cropped fitted luon jacket with a hood on it, and contrast colors.

 Street To Studio Jacket Frond Size 10 (TTS)

I tried on the Street to Studio Jackets this afternoon and liked them, except for the length. The size 10 (my TTS) was pretty roomy in the body and arms but pretty cropped on my long torso. I liked the fit of the 8 better on me in the chest and arms but it was even shorter in length. Had the length gone over my hips in the 8 I would have loved it. I think this jacket is meant to replace the Dance Studio Jacket but I find that a little odd since the Dance Studio Jacket is reversible and quite structured and figure flattering. This one is cute of course, but doesn’t have the ‘sexyness’ if you will that the Dance Studio Jacket has. I thought the price at $98 was fair. It’s Durable Water Resistant, and the inside is cool max and quite soft. I brought home the size 8 in Mellow Lemon (really loved both color options) and will try it on with a few other pants. These where not ideal pants to try these jackets on with so I’m willing to try it on with a few more items before I decide. Right now though, the jury is out.

 The Omega logo on this jacket is way more subtle than the Dance Studio Jacket. It’s really only the upper half of the logo that is seamed in and the bottom half is completed by the pockets. The Omega logo is much more apparent when you size down as the bunching of material makes it get lost in the size 10. 

 The size 8 hits me right at the waist band of my pants. Fine when I’m wearing Ebb and Flow crops or Wunder Unders but if I want to wear this with jeans it’s too short. 

Out & About Jacket size 10 TTS

This jacket was priced quite high in my opinion. It’s similar weight to my Right As Rain Jacket, way shorter but with a few more features. I liked this jacket from the high waist up, and really hated it from the high waist down. Its super short and the back tail has a really exaggerated flare. I loved the military style pockets, but this jacket is really short. I grabbed my TTS 10 and it was roomy in the bust but because of the stiffness of the fabric I would not size down, and also because I cannot afford to lose any length on this one. Easy pass for me.

These pants will make me look very short and very wide thanks to the print, contrast seaming and length.

And just like that, I feel like the Lululemon drought is almost over. It was about a 10 week run of uploads there where there was hardly any item I liked uploaded, just a sprinkling of items (CRB’s, Ebb and Flows). Now, I feel like with the Run: Inspire Improvements (haven’t heard confirmation on fit yet), and the Scuba Hoodie improvements plus the great colors (Loving Frond and that green and yellow have made an appearance finally) and return of Energy Bras are making me excited to see what is around the corner. Now we just have to work on them with the boxy fits and color blocking because I’m still not joining that party. Just this last upload I was interested in the Mellow Lemon CRB, Frond Free To Be, Energy Bras and the upcoming Ocean Stripe Frond CRB.

I love brushed luxtreme pullovers for crossfit but this one is too short and boxy for me, and the zipper at the back is a problem. Hopefully we will see something else in brushed power luxtreme.

After upload I decided to order two since I had sold all my other bras. I chose Frond and White, but I also really like Mellow Lemon. Frond surprisingly goes with quite a few Cool Racerback Colors.
